  1. "Lips of an Angel"- Hinder
  2. Liver is still filtering, so since he did such a good job the past 2 nights, I am taking it a bit easy on him tonight. But finally the beer fridge is down to almost empty, so that means I can restock it with everything else I bought yesterday! This week will be fun! All I will drink tonight is this #9
  3. Woohoo! With these games now over, it means I can finally get back to watching Las Vegas and My Name Is Earl! At least the Summer Olympics in 2 years won't interfer with good primetime entertainment for 2 weeks!
  4. I don't care for them. If the ad is special in a way, that'd be one thing (kinda like how SuperBowl ads are usually a little longer than they will be after the big game). But with the same exact ads as found on TV, its really pointless and just wastes my time. (like 20 minutes of previews isn't bad enough!) Thats probably one of the reasons why I don't go to movies too often, I'll just wait until it comes out on DVD.
  5. Pretty entertaining stuff, glad to have it back, with its STAR! Its nice to see the park PR allowed it, and even came out to support. I loved the subtle Knotts bashing. And hooray for Sky Tower reopening!
  6. Awesome stuff! I don't think I've ever had like 75% of that stuff, with the exception of the Baby Ruth, which was given out on my birthday to all of my dad's friends and coworkers. I think Dave T's head would explode if he saw all that stuff. Enjoy it!
  7. Katun looks pretty cool, but I just like the colorfulness of Montu.
  8. As soon as I saw this story I said "standing up". Thats gonna have to be my final answer on this one. Now, if he was standing up because he wanted to get an extra thrill or if he was just scared I don't know, but judging from his age and the fact that no one else was riding with him, I'm going with extra thrill. Now he's in the hospital, hopefully that'll learn him!
  9. "Galvanize"- Chemical Brothers
  10. Sooooo many vertical loops.....can hardly contain myself! Nice pictures, not amazing coasters (at least not Mantis), but great shots of them!
  11. Finally, we ended up at Destiny Brewing also in Phoenixville. Luckily Kim called them from Sly Fox to confirm the directions from Mapquest. It ended up being a terrific ending to a great day, with lots of talk about Smallville with the bartender of the moment. Thanks for the assorted 6pack, Rugged One, hope you have a wonderful birthday filled with lots of beer! And Heath ends the night with a Stout (which was much better than Sly Fox's). Thanks for a great beer-filled day, Heath and Kim. See you around hopefully! I finish up with a Pale Ale The TPR Daily Brew Crew enjoys their Saturday out! They've got a cool setup at Destiny, with empty kegs on one wall, taps on the other, and the current selection in the middle Wally, stop infringing upon the local microbrew market! "Da IPA is really good, and it makes me look smarter, see!?" This was also there, but mainly for "decoration" Our immediate choice, the Destiny IPA Why can't anyone find this place!??! Through this door, are you sure? Thank goodness, I was starting to wonder if we got lost! Um where do we go once we enter this building?? Look! We've found another brewery! And we didn't drive 10 miles out of our way to do so At long last, we have found the point where religion and homosexuality intersect. Its in Phoenixville
  12. Afterwards, we tried to find out way to Sly Fox. Either the Fox was really Sly, Mapquest was really bad, or Kim just shouldn't have had that Pilsner at Victory, because we looped around Phoenixville quite like the Griswalds did around Parliament and Big Ben! Though he is quite excited about getting his Route 113 IPA to go! Heath tries to enjoy his O'Reilly's stout, but its as weak as possible I found this sign in a bathroom. As a homage to Lily's last day alive anniversary, I present it to you I compared it to a vertical slide, lots of hops at first, no real finish Finally temptation gives in and I try a Phoenix Pale Ale As much as any beer drinker's wife would! You watch, in 5 years, she'll be downing this like there is no tomorrow! Does Kim like the Cascade? Beer made heer....errr here And I do the same! Heath enjoys his Cascade Anniversary IPA My coaster reminded me of a coaster. I got sad for a moment After MUCH praying, we arrived at the Phoenixville branch of Sly Fox
  13. Next up was the gift shop, where I was very glad of my occupation and its pay! Wally, get excited, a portion of this belongs to you! Same goes for you Tom and Mr. Wedding Class Revesz! Yeah, he's wanted desperately by lots of people, sadly they were all out at the actually brewery! Sorry Heath. Any place that serves baby jumpers with beer on it is awesome by my standards! Gotta get me some glassware! Just for comparison! OMG! Look at all these Alt Beers!
  14. You know you're anticipating a trip when you dream about it the night before. For me, this was like an adult first time trip to Disney World. I finally got to meet up with Rugged One and the Mrs. as well as enjoying my favorite brewery and some extra bonuses along the way. The best though was all the 4 and 5 year olds sneaking a sip or dip of their daddy's beer! These kids got good taste! I finished my Victory experience with a Mad King's Weissen Heath enjoyed his Alt Beer too! Then I remembered the whole reason I came was for the 10th Anniversary Alt Beer! After some super hot hot wings, my entree was the Brewer's Penne And I do the same! Heath enjoys his Hop Devil Cask A certain sign of excellence, the Hop Devil! Dude, just look at all these excellent beers ON TAP!! My car, my beer, my loves I arrived at Victory shortly before Heath and Kim
  15. OK, twas another wonderful night at Viva. Nice jazz music, good food, great friends, and superb beers. I started off with the night with a new beer for me, the Dock Street Philadelphia Amber beer, which is *very* similar in taste to my #3 beer, Fat Tire from New Belgium. That means peach for all you non-Belgianese speaking people. Until tomorrow's beer update, peace! And for dessert, as usual, a Lindemann's Lambic. But this time, Peche Franziskaner Hefe-Weisse in a Franziskaner Hefe-Weisse glass, Ellen would be VERY pleased with this place Moving to the lounge, I knew I had made a good decision After paying the bill, I got a SEVERE headache for no apparent reason, I believe Oh yeah! and some crab and artichoke dip My dinner was a Rogue Dead Guy Ale Before I could get to my Soup du Jour (which means soup of the day) the marsala mushroom, Spiderman apparently sampled it Yes! Its not a beer I drink for the shear enjoyment like HopDevil, but it is one I could drink frequently. Will I like it? Time for me to get another beer credit while I wait for the rest of my friends to show up
  16. Sure looks funny looking back at Zeus when most of the ride was conceiled in the woods. Now the whole thing is visible from the parking lot.
  17. I'm gonna have to go with Cedar Point. There's not much cooler about your first trip there, driving across the causeway and seeing Millennium Force to your left, followed by Mantis, Blue Streak, Top Thrill Dragster, Power Tower, and Wicked Twister. Its beautiful, and downright wrong when you realize how tall everything is, yet how small anything looks when associated with everything else as a whole.
  18. I've been at many parks for opening, though most of the time I don't care about the opening celebration, I just want to get to the rides! I opened up Derek's Garden Hose Kingdom back in 2001 and its been a success ever since, with profits up 200% and a new and exciting ride coming every year. Announcing: New for 2006 will be "MISTic Cavern and Spritzwater Falls". See the results of a garden hose accidentally chewed up by the snow blower in this darkride adventure. Entering the Maytag refrigerator box...I mean cave, you will be blessed with dowsing amounts of water from the mistic forces of the beyond. Experience the history as you gaze upon the ancient cave paintings left by people older than Jeff Johnson! Beware of the darkness, the mildew stench, and uncertain doom that could be lurking ahead. Upon exiting, you'll be face to face with the remaining water left in the hose...I mean the mighty powerful waterfall that created the wonderous mistic cave so many eons ago. Someday we're going to be a waterpark chain of awesomeness, I just know it!
  19. I can't see them selling the park, only continuing to improve it. I can even start seeing Snyder having package deals with the Redskins. "For only $509 you can spend 4 hours at Six Flags before coming to the game. Just be aware, if you leave, you will have to pay for parking again."
  20. Happy Birthday Captain of the Lady Gay! Hope you get that fastpass for it on your big special day. Though, if I could turn back time, if I could find some way, I'd make you 33 again. Spend the day with someone, that way no one thinks you're sad and pathetic, because you're not, big guy!
  21. "A Different Kind of Pain"- Cold
  22. Starting off tonight with an Alpha King before heading to Viva for some more good brews. Gotta get myself ready for tomorrow, it'll be like my first trip to Disney World, but for the beer lover! So begins another weekend
  23. Wonder if this means the rides associated with movies and tv shows will have to change their name. Goodbye Top Guns, Tomb Raiders, Italian Jobs, and Survivor; hello Jet Coaster, Top Spin in a box, Turbo Stunt Coaster Track, and Colon: The Ride!
  24. Awesome! Looks like Jack does get time to eat and use the bathroom while trying to save America in a day!
  25. Still trying to empty the fridge so I can refill it this weekend with lots of Victory stuff! The 2nd to last Celebration Ale in the fridge.
