  1. ^Yes, people are stupid. Not sure where you live but I'd love to live where there are no stupid people. The only place I now of is in the future, a secret place called Davonia.
  2. ^only you would consider a pizza place, an amusement park!
  3. When Jack finds out about the relationship between his father and Claire's mother, this might be the reason he doesn't want any part of Aaron. I forgot about that relationship. Also, I don't think anyone on the freighter is going to be alive in the future. Otherwise wouldn't this Abaddon guy be able to get all the info he needs from his people on the freighter. Why would he need info from Hurley. Maybe Ben pays off Miles and then Miles takes out the freighter people.
  4. ^"it's not so much the heat as the humidity"
  5. I think I'm one of the few people on the 2006 UK Trip that truly enjoyed the ride. Sure the slowness of the lift hills was maddening but I liked the uniqueness and crazy nature that is the second half of The Ultimate.
  6. Great job what the interview Robb. When the microphone was turned off did you convince him to put the Tilt-a-Whirl back in SFMM? I'm glad common sense is prevailing in the understanding that is is better to have non-functional rides removed versus sitting there reminding people what could have been. I hope you don't mind that I linked a path to TPR and your interview to Yahoo's stock message board for Six Flags.
  7. my nominations: Blue Diamond Park Keansburg Lakemont Never been, but only heard bad things about FunSpot also I'm not a big fan of the looks of: Sylvan Beach Beech Bend
  8. ^I would think that Ben is the one who concocted the story. There was probably quite a bit of bloodshed and dealmaking in determining the Oceanic 6. Ben's a schemer and would certainly be the best to propogate a tale. I think the 4th estate would count Aaron as one of the "Oceanic 6". The term was probably dubbed by the press and they always try to find neat little clasifications. "Oceanic 6 plus one baby born on the island" just doesn't cut it in headlines. As far as why Jack doesn't want to see Aaron - I have no clue. But remember Sayid relying on his heart versus his head will get some friends (Losties) killed. Ben reminded him of that when he was fixing Sayid after being shot in Germany.
  9. Are you willing to ride all the coasters/rides at your parks? Are you pleased with the installation of El Toro? It seems to be a fan favorite, is any consideration being giving for additional Intamin wood coasters at other parks? What do you think about the new pricing structure for Cedar Fair season passes? Would you consider a similar a change for Six Flags moving forward?
  10. IB is the best park by far IMHO. Typically the 4 parks could be done in 3 days but will be diificult within your time parameters: based on your flights out of Louisville and the event schedules. It doesn't make sense to miss any ERT time as you are paying a premuim for that privilege. The following might be possible if your flight leaves late enough on Sunday night: Saturday - HW (event) Sunday - KK in the morning, then BB late afternoon/night (assuming event ERT is at night) Monday - get to IB at opening for 3-4 hours That's the only way I see it being possible without missing ERT. You should only need a couple of hours at KK. You should be able to do everything at IB in 3 - 3 1/2 hours because the place is so compact. I know I was able to ride practically every flat and almost a dozen Cornball Express rides in under 3 hours while spending an hour in their arcade also
  11. $3 for games is an unfair taxes on minorities. I rarely see Caucasians playing these games. What's up with that. Incorrect - Unfortunately it is not that simple and that is why so many new economy internet based companies failed. A company making only $1 on a widget while a competitor makes $10 on the same widget would theoretically need to sell 10 times as many widget to be in the same profit range. But a company selling at a lower price now needs to manufacture more output meaning more overhead expenses (electricity, insurance, employee wages) so he would not be as well off. Now factor this into an amusement park and would SF customers be happy with double or triple the crowds every day at the park.
  12. They have enough people in the parks. They need need to make more money off each person while at the same time making it a enjoyable visit.
  13. Games - basketballs won as prizes are deflated. Open the games later in the day and offer discounted prices on the games the last 90 minutes the park is open to encourage people to play later in the day (creating less clutter on ride platforms during the day. Admission - Whatever your single day cost is the season pass should be 2 1/2 times that cost. If your day ticket is $40 the season pass is $100. Also, like Cedar Fair have 2 levels of season passes. One option for your home park only and $150 if you want a chain wide season pass. Each single day ticket gets you a coupon for a free soft drink in the park. Discounting tickets would be considered on weekdays since that would help draw people in. Parking - leave it as it at $15, but paying $15 gets you a coupon to play a game for free Coupon books - I have no problem with the coupon books for season pass holders at the higher prices. Coupons with marketing partners - 50% discounts have to go. An additional limited Flash Pass option - for $20 you get front of line privilege for one-time use on 3 rides at the park. Food - While I do like like food at Busch I'm not always in the mood to spend a lot. I don't mind the chains at a premium price versus outside the park as you generally know what you are getting. Sure I could leave a park and drive down the road and save money, but to me time is money so having the food nearby works for me. So I offer no advice on the food, if bringing in Papa John's benefits the bottom line, stick with it. Drinks - Keep the prices as is. Sure paying $3 for a bottled water is expensive, but I personally think $1 for a bottled water excessive, also. Use the water fountain, except when in New Jersey. Upcharge rides - If people are not riding on a particular day, have a manager in charge of the attraction offer discounts by placing a placard on the midway for limited times throughout the day. Of course this will have to be used sparingly or else people will expect it. Security - give them real power to do their jobs at the thug infested parks Finally - finish plans for an on site Hotel at SFGAdv. It would not work for every SF park, but the SFGAdv hotel wouldn't have any competition within 20 miles. Do it like CP with guests allowed to ride two coasters an hour before the public and it think we have a winner. Even if as CEO I determine that SF doesn't want to build its own hotel do it through a license agreement like the Radisson at KBF.
  14. ^oh yeah - I know that! I just just testing to see if anyone was reading besides you.
  15. ^^Do they still sell corn on the cob off the grill at SFFT? I thought it was awesome. and holler - if you like taking pictures, the train at SFFT allows for great views of Krypton Coaster.
  16. ^true - but if I was staying at Breakers Express I would just take the shuttle versus the hassle of moving my car. That is, if there was a shuttle
  17. So you are paying an extra $82 for 2 single day admission tickets, 2 Starlight passes and Breakfast. If you are only going to the park for one full day and the nighttime then it will save you money. However, as Elissa points out if you are going to spend 2 full days in the park (meaning you have to buy tickets for one day) and not use the Starlight Passes then it is not a great deal.
  18. The Whacky Shack is low capacity and certainly worth riding if you are a Fan of Laffland at Sylvan Beach. Ride this as soon as you can before the line builds. I found the atmosphere similar to Seabreeze. I did not eat in the park as I didn't spend much time there. However, they have a decent size picnic area and the ride lines get even shorter during the lunch hours. The park is closed on Mondays, so plan accordingly.
  19. If you do the preview option at HersheyPark remember to save your parking ticket. It covers parking for the secind day.
  20. If Jacob can move his cabin (or make it disappear) what is the likelihood that he can do the same thing to the whole island?
  21. If you have never been there and don't have a great guide leading you around then do not try to do Kennywood in a half day. It is a park best savored at a leisurely pace to catch all the unique rides that could get overlooked (Turtle, Kangaroo, Noah's Ark, and even Garfield's Nightmare).
  22. I don't mind rumors and hypothesizing. However I have less of a desire to watch a show if I know what will happen. As long as the post begins with something like the following I can avoid it. *********SPOILER ALERT************
  23. I suspect Volume 10 will be the Midwest Trip and Volume 11 will be Japan/Korea. I think a new volume will be released with each new TPR trip.
  24. RCDB lists Cosmo's World at 450,000 square feet which I believe equals a little more than 10 acres. I hope that helps.
  25. Hey woman no spoilers, please! Don't make me boycott this website.
