  1. Canobie Lake Park Canobie added the Venetian Carousel for 2019. They still have their old Antique Carousel as well. The Canobie Express got a new station since it was rerouted to accommodate the new water park. The Canobie Corkscrew has been blue for a few years now if you want a more recent photo.
  2. Per the Fort Worth Star-Telegram, Six Flags may be moving their headquarters into Globe Life Field, the former home of the Texas Rangers. Link to the Fort Worth Star-Telegram
  3. Did Primeval Whirl quietly reopen sometime recently? It's currently listed as closed on the Disney App and website, but QueueTimes showed that it ran on the 9th. Is that a mistake?
  4. ^ The course at Cedar Point gave two laps as well back on Memorial Day weekend. I'm glad I can now say I've been in a monster truck, but I wasn't a big fan of the experience. It seemed to be a major hit with kids though! I need this in my life. Thank you!
  5. A night rain ride on Beast sounds hysterical! I'm just envisioning the pitch black layout while being pelted in the face. It's times like this that I'm thankful I'm visually impaired and wear glasses.
  6. Thank you MKvillalba for breaking it all down and translating it! It's terrifying that I rode this last year now that this has come to light. Montana Rusa was a pretty good ride with some surprising and very abrupt ejector air. And considering the ride's history, I'm glad they're looking to keep it. Although I'm totally on-board with an RMC if they went that route.
  7. A slow season (it would be early December) and closed for low attendance is more my fear than cold weather.
  8. In the past, has Desperado operated in December? I know the ride seems hit or miss even if it's supposed to open, but I may be out that way for work.
  9. ^ Front row night rides almost make it better than Phoenix for me. 1) Lightning Rod 2) Voyage 3) Steel Vengeance 4) Untamed (Walibi) 5) Coaster (PNE Playland) 6) Phoenix 7) Boulder Dash 8) Expedition GeForce 9) Fury 325 10) Twisted Colossus
  10. I agree the lack of Log Chute is a bummer, but if this park has the same type of appearance as MOA's and better coasters, it should be a great park.
  11. Nice report! Beyond Lech and that dark ride, Legendia looks to have some nice flats. I'm always a fan of Huss Rainbows and that Circus pendulum with the flipping seats looks cool.
  12. I'm really intrigued to hear how opening weekend goes and how many rides are operational. If it sounds like a success, I'll head down a week or two after. Edit- The site says Shredder, Shellraiser, and Nickelodeon Skyline Scream will be open on the 25th. No mention of Sandy's Blasting Bronco though. Link
  13. The Backlot Tour in Orlando was way better than the one in Paris and I haven't missed that ride one bit ever since it left.
  14. Jungle Cruise was the only major closed ride I noticed. With two parades and a fireworks show in the span of 2 hours, I agree the pathways get quite congested. It was tricky for us to get from Splash Mountain to Space Mountain after the Boo to You Parade ended, but our efforts were rewarded with a 5-10 minute wait.
  15. Kings Island's was down almost all day when I went last year, so that one seems to have its fair share of closures too.
  16. I'm not a big fan of the Bourne franchise (it's just ok), but I'm excited they're keeping the "never been seen before" hybrid screen/live actor thing from T2.
  17. ^ I'm just thankful I never rode Flight of Fear with the OSTRs. Yes it shakes you around a bit, but I don't find it uncomfortable.
  18. If you're staying in the area, quite a few of the hotels I've stayed at have had free shuttles to Knott's.
  19. I never thought I liked pierogis since I had some garbage ones at my college cafeteria. My opinion took a complete 180 after eating the ones at Knoebels.
  20. I agree hit GhostRider first. That ride has had by far the longest wait in all my visits to Knott's. Make sure you ride it in the back. The only other bad queue I've experienced is the front row for Xcelerator. It starts really far back in the line. I also strongly recommend the fried chicken restaurant.
  21. I'm glad no one was injured by the accident...and that no one will be injured by this awful coaster again. Seeing a Chance Toboggan go down is like when that despicable villain dies at the end of a movie.
  22. I was just there 2 weeks ago on a sold out night. I agree the pathways were busy, but the ride lines were minimal. I found all the ride times were overestimated (Seven Dwarfs was posted 45 min but I boarded in 20 min) and the queues flew without FastPass active. I loved the event and would happily go back on a future trip.
  23. ^ I was thinking the same thing with how the track twists. I'd love to see more of those built since they look cool.
  24. ^ Thanks for clarifying. I knew it was an incorrect riding position.
  25. Don't the people you're with ride Nitro? That is 10X worse than the sky coaster in the cold.
