  1. I hope for the best, but after visiting this park a few weeks ago and seeing the majority of people not wearing masks, I have my concerns. Not to mention it will be at night and there will be no way for team members to enforce the mask policy. Again...hoping for the best, but people have shown how selfish and stupid they can be and continue to be.
  2. So, it's kind of impossible to shoot a POV on a ride that has not even opened.
  3. Hmm...I am sure to cause some controversy, but here's my list purely based on re-rideability: 1) Steel Vengeance 2) Millenium Force 3) Dragster 4) Gemini (it's just fun!) 5) Valravn 6) Mine Ride 7) Gatekeeper 8) Maverick (sue me) 9) Corkscrew 10) Wicked Twister 11) Blue Streak 12) Corkscrew 13) Iron Dragon 14) Rogarou 15) Raptor
  4. From the SFGADv Website: Jersey Devil Coaster to Debut in 2021 The world’s tallest, fastest and longest single rail coaster, Jersey Devil Coaster, will not open this year. Due to the pandemic, most construction projects were delayed or halted all together. For this reason, Six Flags is making plans to debut Jersey Devil Coaster in 2021. We look forward to sharing more construction updates as we complete this record-breaking scream machine.
  5. I've been to Universal twice and both times everyone wore a mask. There are signs everywhere, and people just seem more willing to obey the rules. My one visit to Sea World last week was a different story. Saw a few groups of people either wearing it wrong or just taking it off completely since they felt they were away from people. So selfish and stupid.
  6. From my experience yesterday, it is a lottery type situation. I tried many times from 10am-11ish with no luck. Then all of a sudden, times opened up at 12:30, 1, and 2pm. I ended up going at 1:15. Still waited about 20-25 minutes since there is a lot of social distancing in line. Once we got on the coaster, they filled every row. They still give you hand sanitizer before you boarded, and they cleaned each train after you exited. Good luck! Every other ride in the park was about a 5-10 minute wait. Very manageable.
  7. Unsure if this is a general statement or was directed to me since I posted the video.. But I agree. I wear a mask anytime I go out in public, I work in pharma so I wear one all day at work. And I think people who think it's so terrible are, well.. selfish. It's literally the easiest thing to do to keep yourself and others safe until an effective vaccine is available. Not directed at you at all! I apologize if you saw it that way! Just getting SO tired of people complaining about this! I live and work in Orlando. It is WAY hotter down here. Yes, it's uncomfortable, but it is what we ALL must do to insure the health of our fellow man. And after awhile, you get used to it. Or...the other option...don't ever open the parks at all. I will stick with option 1!
  8. If you don't want to wear a mask, THEN DON'T GO! GEEZ! Cedar Point (and any other theme park) is a PRIVILEGE not a right. So sick of these selfish people and their myriad of excuses. The fact is wearing a mask protects OTHERS who may be more vulnerable to COVID 19 from getting sick. When did people become such selfish bastards??
  9. Nope. Still saying "We recommend we bring your own." Fun Spot. The WalMart of Dollar Trees. And we got the clientele to prove it!
  10. I mean... they are recommending masks and are doing NINE (yes, 3 more than recommended by the CDC) feet apart in the queue lines. People don’t exactly live under a rock. I also don’t see a lot of 65+ people visiting fun spot, hitting the go cart tracks and downing a couple beers. Also Island H2O live waterpark in Orlando opens today. as well. I also know the clientele that Fun Spot usually attracts (I Drive tourists, locals) and I highly doubt any of them will wear masks or stay 6 or even 9 feet apart. And I have been to this park dozens of times, so I speak from a voice of experience. I wish them the best, but I know how stupid people are.
  11. Hmm...NO temp checks, no required masks for guests? Does the park assume ZERO liability?? How long til someone gets sick and they are shut down? Very short sighted of this park. Disappointed in them.
  12. More retro trip pictures! These are from my one and only trip to SFKK in July 2005. Lots of pics of rides that are no longer there or have changed names and layouts. Enjoy!

  17. That lunatic is my husband! And yes....the lines USED to be insane for Mantis. They may even have been down to one train that day! And the ink NEVER came off! The worst part is you would forget, put your hands in your pockets, and stain your shorts for all eternity!

  20. Some pics from the park in April 2010. Intimidator 305 had only been open about a week. This was I believe a week or so after Easter, but the park was dead. I ended up getting about 7 rides on I-305 and greyed out on each and every one! Enjoy!
  21. Some more retro-ish pics. These are from 2010 and the year between when Big Bad Wolf was removed and Verbolten installed. Enjoy!
  22. Some pics from July 2005, almost 15 years ago. Paramount still owned the park so there are remnants of that. Enjoy!
  23. Preach! Been saying this for YEARS! Especially when Knotts has the BEST log flume in the world! Cedar Point could make their own version of that and put in on Frontier Trail or Frontiertown. PLEASE! Not everyone wants to get SOAKED and walk around with wet shoes all day!

  25. I miss the show in the Festhaus. I will NEVER forgive the director of Entertainment who insisted on making his mark on every show in the park and subsequently ruined everything. And after he had the original staff all fired, he got canned. Despicable. And I can say this since I worked for 4 years in the Entertainment Department. Anyway, enjoy the pics!!
