You didn't happen to catch "The Duke Spirit" at all did you (I think they were in the John Peel Tent....I was at School with the drummer, love 'em, they have already been on Letterman in America, so are making a good solid name for themselves and are getting quite a following! Roller coasters and body trembling
andyuk200523 replied to lorddoonga's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
I would have to say most recently it would be Stealth (Thorpe Park), the adrenaline i got from that was great! Recent Thrill Ride that did the same was Hurakan Condor (sooo tall!) Past adrenaline experiences have to be Hulk opening year Dueling Dragons opening year Nemesis opening year (you gotta remember, i was much younger when all of these were done). Are You A Guitar Hero?
andyuk200523 replied to californiascreamer1's topic in Random, Random, Random
Been playing Guitar Hero since the first one about 2/3 years ago, just got Guitar Hero Aerosmith and am now just over half way through it on Hard, getting there, always try expert after completing it in either Medium or Hard, gives me a chance to get to know the songs a bit better etc..... Love It!!!!! -
Dude, ECC publishes First Drop not Airtime. As for ACE, don't pigeon hole a whole group for the actions of a few individuals. I know a few people who have been on TPR trips that have offended a number of people and they are members here and not ACE. So should we make fun of TPR? Oh, wait. we already do! The point is each group serves a purpose. For people starting out, ACE is not a bad group. The have both regional events and National events. I happen to like to travel so for me I prefer the ECC. They take one and two week trips all over the world. If it wasn't for TPR I would be traveling with them. Oh, one more thing, A few of the mods here are members of ACE. D'oh, thats what i meant in my semi-awakeness when i wrote that! Andrew "loosing the plot" Shakespeare

I was a member of RCCGB for may years until it split into ECC and RCCGB as two seperate clubs, I moved across to the ECC as their magazine Airtime is a brilliant read, filled with useful and informative stuff, quite humourous too! All i remember from the RCCGB (Mr Andy Hine) is the infamous "coaster handshake" which was seen on TV over here on numerous occasions which scarred my hobby of Coaster Riding for life....whenever I mention it with family present my father enjoys bringing up the garish coaster handshake! At least the ECC is a normal bunch of people who just enjoy riding coasters and writing about them, completely normal, much like everything i have seen so far from this forum, I have not been a member of ECC for a few years now, I keep forgetting to sign up! But after being on this forum for a month or two now, I personally think I will stay here, even if it is based in the US, Rob and Elissa (and everyone else for that matter) do a superb job of updating and providing useful and fun Trip Reports, and i cannot wait for next year when I can make it over to the US to meet everyone on a trip or two!!!!!!!! Without a shadow of a doubt the back seat on Magnus Collosus at Terra Mitica, Benidorm, I have never been in so much pain in all my life, I genuinely though my chest was gonna explode inside my body!!! Second to that though, probably Indiana Jones and The Temple of Peril: Backwards at DLP, that was frighteningly painful!

In 99 I rode Rock 'n' Rollercoaster 26 times in one day by using FastPass and normal queuing worked like a charm! -

Saw the guys last year at Wembley Stadium, was an Awesome gig, they are sounding tighter in these last couple of years than they have done for the past 10 years, Rick Rubin is doing a great job with them, if the little clips on mission metallica are anything to go by this will be an album of similar scale to Master of Puppets! (we can hope anyway!)

The Zoo was Aqualeon in Spain, a short journey from Salou, really nice location, the zoo wasn't the best kept in the world though. Thanks about the car, shame it is gone now

Gas Prices where you live
andyuk200523 replied to RtherBOnACoaster's topic in Random, Random, Random
Working on the average of some of the prices here....... If we were paying our prices in the US, it would equate to $10.45 per gallon so at the moment, we are paying twice as much as you guys, you are all paying the same as we were about 7-8 years ago......!! Extortion -
