  1. I might have to be kept "in check" on the TPR/UK June'06 Tour, but, for now.... I really have a hard time, about getting onto/into a child's coaster, strictly for a cred. I have done my share, in adulthood I will admit. But usually, that was only cause the coaster in question was still fairly unique (to me IMhO) and more importantly, still larger enough.... Oh to heck with it, yes yes yes YES I'll do it, I'll do it for the credits, I'll do it for stats, I'll do it cause everybody is probably going to do it in UK.... Whore-ish enough for y'all? I still voted the last one. So, there ya go. Bite me.
  2. OMG  It can't be true. No, I'm really thrilled! Listening to one of The Diva's newest offerings, from Confessions on a dance floor and WHAM! There it was. Or what she said in Track 3 - "Sorry"... 'Talk is cheap.' My fave expression. Now immortalized in CD format by MyDonna, YourDonna, MaDonna. She can still Go, Girl!
  3. A Case of You k.d. lang hymns of the 49th parallel
  4. "Nice giant spheres" = Balls. Couldn't resist, sorry. ~ ~ ~ And I EDIT this, to also say, you posted a great, interesting TR. Catching the snow actually falling, in a photo, is always great to see, for me. So thanks for all that.
  5. Gettin' rested up.... And then gettin' ready to take on 2006...
  6. ^ALL OF THE ABOVE^ You guys just make me giggle and go OMG, when I see bottle after bottle being shown, and consumed. This isn't a razz, really! I am very impressed with how many brews there are in this world and the fact that there are a good number of TPR peeps keeping up with the hops, lol. I just got very very dizzzzzzzy with photo after photo of all of your current bottles, that you were consuming. Most impressive. ~ ~ ~ ~ ***And Wally? Like I said in your flooding thread, I hope that you, Karen and Gavin are spared a "first calamity" with your brand-new home. Good Beery Cheery Thoughts your way, I send. ***
  7. Most excellent first TR, Teddy. It looks like you covered everything including every f-ing figure in the museum, LOLOL! They let you get "that close" to the figures, huh? Interesting. You can never have too much RuPaul, r-r-r-right? And Elissa should be happy, that the "McDonald's Eating Traditon" is being continued, heh heh. Looking forward to many more TRs from you, mmm'k?
  8. For my 1000th Post, I want to send you and Karen and Gavin some Good New Year's Thoughts and Safe Wintering with the flooding and all, Wally. Not fair that you find a "house of your dreams," then get hit with this wet, rainy mess. But - hold on, think dry thoughts, and yes, do get flood insurance if you can afford it. You never know... HAPPY NEW YEAR EVERYBODY!
  9. Elton John Rocket Man
  10. Post #999 Well, wouldn't ya know it? Bandwidth exceeded again! Heh heh heh. Ah well.... ~ ~ ~ ~ Wanted to make this my last post of the year, just before I tripped into the four digit counter. And since this is a Random, Random, Random thread... Wanted to wish any and all of who who inhabit this cyber-world called TPR, a very Happy Holiday Season and an equally joyous Happy New Year. The really great thing is, this site has proved to not just be a thru-way of ideas, opinions, chat and visuals. But connections, sharing, discovering, and ultimately, bonding with a lot of interesting (and sometimes rodent-obsessed) bunch of people. So, I send my best to all of you - and only wish The Best For All, and that everybody really REALLY get "that ride of a lifetime" in the coming year/seasons. Photo attached is one one of my faves - a beautiful winter 04/05 shot of Sleeping Beauty's Castle in Disneyland Paris. Thankyou CliquesMagique. And in the foreground, a reminder of how a lot of great things and ideas start out. With a pen or pencil, and a single sheet of paper. Even roller coasters can still start out that way, lol. Cheers, all! Bill / Nrthwnd This is the way a Disney castle should be 'dressed' for the holidays. Sparkling and bejeweled. Happy Solstice!
  11. The Buddy Christ figure is sometimes found in Collectibles Stores - you know, for The Collector. We have a few really excellent ones here, including a warehouse-like shop in the burb of..... Oops. Beer gift - right... Most excellent Solstice Gift, to be shure. 8)
  12. (If You're Not In It For Love) I'm Outta Here Shania Twain Greatest Hits
  13. OMG  Dan's First Post here! Took your current trip to flush him out, huh? (j/k Dan). Trip is looking great guys. Hello Kitty Land looks great. Japan looks great! I do hope you are taking note of these places, and how things might work out with a busload of us'n youse, heh heh. In the not-too-distant future.
  14. Bump - bump - a - BUMP! In case anybody needs an "update" about what all-of-the-above is/was about... here's a few pages to get you started, heh heh. In the mean time In between time Julie's getting a package soon! And she's been forwarned - that this is NOT your usual "tear open and consume" candy pack-age. Not from yours truly, anyway, lolol. On its' way, your way tomorrow, USRT. All systems go! Here we go Ms.USRoadTripper - all wrapped and ready to swiftly fly your way. Safe journey, oh square and sweet package!
  15. Nice 'look' at the fireworks, Ted. I always enjoy how they use the castles as a 'canvas,' too, for the nightly shows. One question: do/did you have any idea what is/was going on with the two lit windows up there in the castle? I noticed it near the end of your vid. Just looked... curious. Thanks for sharing.
  16. And of course, everybody can see - that with their travelling thru these cities at this time of year... A whole TPR Tour bus full'o'us....... Talk about owning a park, hee hee hee! Wow. This actually looks like a great time to go, hmmm? And peeps would have to leave before The Actual Day, since it would start before then. And end, after New years, which makes it alllll the more interesting. 8) Hmmm. Interesting...
  17. Newest Happy Post! Am watching Doctor Who: The Christmas Invasion on our CBC television station. A special first-run episode from the BBC! Awesome!
  18. Congrats again ^ Lou! ~ ~ ~ ~ OOOO! OOOOO! We're in the middle of watching the Brand-New-Episode of DOCTOR WHO: The Christmas Invasion special episode on CBC via the BBC! What a great way to end the Holly-Daze Weekend! Woot! Woot!
  19. Not beer - nor wine - but Festive!!!! A little nog with a bunch of spiced rum. Mmmm. Salut and Happy Holly-daze!
  20. Hmmm. Probably my 'resolution(s)' would be to get my gut a bit lightened and get into a lot more walking every week, just for the good health of it. Then, there's getting my "Season Pass" to Playland in the early spring, and using it as an incentive to walk to the park and back (we're less than a 1/2 hour's walk to it), riding our Coaster, doing other rides from time to time, and getting myself in "shape" for what's ahead in the June TPR UK Tour. In other words, making every spring weekend, "A Weekend at Playland!" That's enough for now, I think.
  21. ^ ^ Like son, like father?
  22. Just kidding. ^
  23. Jump Madonna Confessions on a dance floor
  24. Rain, rain... and more of the same! Plus, record 'highs' here and there in our province this past week. For the metric crowd, we hit 15'C yesterday! Broke a 1960's record. And it's still fairly cool, but nothing like usual winter temps. We're still 10-14'C here thru the week. Hmmm. And all that rainfall. Maybe we're going more tropical here than I thought, now winter "catching on," heh heh. Gotta love that Global Warming Thang.
  25. Boy, are you a young'un. I wouldn't even call that a "two o'clock shadow," LOL. Yeah, yeah Derek, go and shave. And get a haircut. You look messy and unkempt.
