Ive only been on 2 and they are Vortex at Carowinds my favorite. And Shockwave at KD aka the only coaster ive ever rode and have no desire to ever reride.

I like the look of this park, but real airtime that was originally on Twisted Bark is wayyyyy better than it is now, its just a game but on a realistic stand the current version is the way to go.

I just downloaded AHG but when I clicked on the second link, its not a tutorial. so i was wondering if there is a tutorial floating around there anywhere? EDIT : I found one. But what would I enter to in the Heartline (m) box for a Flying Dutchman coaster? I dont see it on the list or can you even enter it to be heartlined?

Durning the Paramount Days did Carowinds ever feature Carowinds coasters in its guides

^^ I don't think VORTEX needs any paint and it looks really good since CF took over, I mean the padding is no longer falling off and the ride as a whole just looks better and I like the red shoulder harnesses better than yellow. I think the only roller coaster that NEEDS paint is NightHawk. I wish they would make the YoYo look like it does in all the other photos i've of them. I'm talkin about the main tower, its kinda plain. And maybe play some music over there like at the Hurler, and I don't think any of the coasters there are in any danger of going anywhere anytime soon, unless the rumor about the Saturator comes true.

Anything would be better than Red, White, Green, and Black, I dont think Im missing any colors.

Did anyone notice how good the sign looks at night? Ive never seen it at night, and it looks way better than the old Paramount sign.

Hey, I work at Carowinds and live outside of Charlotte. Charlotte is a huge banking city and I am glad for CMPD to take care of possible danger. And this makes me personally feel as if Charlotte is doing something to prevent something worse from happing, Im not saying these guys were doing anything wrong and they are suppost to be innonce until proven guilty, so after its all done with we will know if it was just harmless photos of uptown Charlotte and CAROWINDS.

And the last thing is today while I was working on my coaster, I decided I hated it. So now Im working on a Arrow Hyper and its going to have the worlds tallest inversion ( if I knew how high that was, so if anyone knows, please post, untill then Im looking on Google and other sites).

I just finished the rough track work yesterday. I need to go through and fix some banking and a few hills, but the best part is no Red Gs, but plenty of yellow, But with that there is a lot of . EDIT: I think the end date might be the first Saturday in June.

Carowinds is not owned by Six Flags and I don't think I have ever seen a parking lot coaster at a Cedar Fair park. I would rather them take the time to expand the park into the south parking lot, but take the time to tear out the pavement and make it look as nice as the rest of the park. But there is a new hole in the second lift of Carolina Goldrusher, so maybe hopeful a new (not used) coaster will start out in that area for 2009. And I don't think it has to be a Intamin or B&M Hyper, but something different. Maybe something a little longer than the coasters we have though.

ghost007jas I know that here at carowinds we still serve Coke, and they put in a ton of new coke signs around the park.

The coasters look good, but i thing I think that six flags + carolinas = not a good match. we need our land to maybe one day finish 485 and light rail. well those two things are not sc so its all good then.

rollerboy i don't care if you use tools or work with someone, I don't use tools because I don't know how to or even where to get them. And EuroTre ill add you to the list What would be an acceptable date? Also on a side note a I noticed that me and you work for the same company.

I'm glad to see theres some interest in this contest and ill add a contestants list to the first post. That ride of yours looks sick. Um I guess a dead line would be July 31st (if that too long let me know), but i figure that would be plenty of time to let everyone finish, like all the kids still in school, or working at the greatest ride ever!!!!!! Just let me know if theres any disagreement on some stuff. And rollerboy and haux are you guys in?

This is an idea I have for a contest, If its no good let me know and I will cancel. I guess the only rules are -MUST break a record -No red-Gs Any kind of coaster would be allowed just say what record you are breaking, like inversions, speed, height, length, tallest inversion, just any record you can think of and it might be a good idea to name the the coaster that it going to be beat. And a deadline I think would be in a month or two? Just let me know if anyone is be interested in this.
