I love kayaking! We own 3 at our cottage which is on a lake, 2 sit on top leisure ones and my Old Town Adventure XL 139 (search for it if you really want to see a picture). It's a longer kayak so its great for being on a lake, it can also do some rivers fairly well. I like it a lot, very easy to turn, fairly stable and great to use.

Yeah I know the feeling My doctor claims he can diagnose strep throat (I've had throat problems for a while, like 5-8 cases of strep a year) by just looking at my throat. No culture, no anything, just looking. So after he diagnoses the SAME case AGAIN as strep after about a month and 2 different antibiotics. I go back a day later (worse then I was) to see a different doctor. She sends me to go get my chest and sinus's x-rayed and get blood drawn. So I go home after about 4 1/2 hours (just to get 2 x-rays and blood drawn, why does it always take so long?) and just sleep until the next monday and I go to an Ear Nose and Throat specialist. I end up seeing 3 people (Nurse, intern/resident/trainee/whatever and the actual Doctor). The nurse says immediately I'm going to need my tonsils out while describing how bad its going to hurt. The intern says the same thing except that we're going to wait. The doctor says nothing about getting my tonsils out but does say that before we decide I need to get allergy tests and a CT scan. I just want to be better now...

BUMB because the trip is getting closer and closer and I'm getting more and more excited. Advice would still be GREATLY appreciated, anything regarding Fast Pass tricks to when to go on what rides would be great. Also anyone else going to be there around this time? We leave December 25th (no big Christmas for us this year, Oh well, were going to disney! ) and coming back on January 3rd. We'll be at Disney from the 25th to the 29th or 30th and at Universal Resort (IOA and US) from the 29th or 30th till the 3rd. I would love to meet some people form TPR! Hopefully I can get a shirt before then.

Contrary to reports otherwise...

I rode Voyage 35 times in a row without getting off the train. No probs. Yeah IMO Beast is MUCH rougher then Voyage (I still like the Beast...in certain seats). My friend and I both absolutely loved Voyage (I'm still deciding if it's my number 1 wooden coaster or not), but on the beast only a day later, well we both pretty much broke our necks in the double helix at the end. This made no sense to me because I rode it the year before and LOVED it, It was fun, fairly smooth and the double helix at the end was awesome! I'm still trying to figure out what happened between 1 year ago and last year. Other rides: Millennium Force - Yeah it's a little dull and lacks the airtime of some other coasters but its a fun ride. I can't remember a ride where I didn't pull into the station laughing my a$$ off. It's still in my top 10 Batman The Dark Night (SFNE) - I don't understand why everyone dislikes this ride. When I went on it I loved it, it was forceful, smooth and just a lot of fun. While it's not in my top 10 I did enjoy it when I rode it. Italian Job Stunt Track (KI) - I actually love this ride. Like Millennium it's just so much fun! While it lacks some airtime it still has some nice forces on the first helix after the launch and it's just an all around fun ride. -

Most rides in a day?
cprocks22 replied to texcoaster's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
I can't think of many rides that I would want to re-ride over and over again (maybe Millennium, my record is 10 rides in a day) but I would LOVE to marathon drop rides, especially the Intamin Mega-Drops -
Well.... This is not Techno. More like Electro Pop which sounds like all others tracks of Benny Benassi. However, hope to see a sexy new clip for this track... just like Satisfaction. Fine if that isn't techno... Adagio For Strings-DJ Tiesto

^I wanted to get it, I loved the first one. I agree that they are way to short though. I beat the first one in a few days, I was really hoping the second one would be longer then the first. Oh well, still a kick ass game. -

I'm in! I'm not really fat (5'10" at 165 lbs), but I want some abs! Also, Good luck Robb! I'm with you on the boring exercises. I can't stand swimming/running laps. I've always heard people say that the best way to loose wait is to find something that you love to do and thats fun for you. I know a TON of people that have lost wait playing DDR and I like it. For me I like to Rock-climb. But since that doesn't really cover cardio (aside from speed climbing), I stared cross country running down our dirt road and through the woods behind our house. Cross country running is SO much better then running laps because... because you don't have to look at the same damn thing the entire time! I hope you reach your goal!
