Ocean Air RCT2 Park
zburns999 replied to zburns999's topic in Roller Coaster Games, Models, and Other Randomness
Ok, I posted some pics of it. For some reason I thought there were more than that. Oh well, the coasters and good rides are there, but the river rapids and "Tidal Wave" sort of ride are not in any screens except the overview. -
Ok, well I got so mixed up in like three park projects at once, I never got to post any screen shots of my latest COMPLETE park. So, here is Burns's Family Amusement Park. I have no idea why I never posted this. I can only think of maybe one or two of my parks I like better. First of all, Burns is my lat name in case you were wondering about that. The park is based on Knoebels in that it is pay-per-ride and is spread out and covered in forest. Here is a nice overview of the park Carnage is a Balder inspired wooden coaster with some INSANE airtime. I really like the layout too ThunderBird is inspired by Falken. It has just as much airtime as Carnage Here is the Vekoma Whirlwind called "Revolution," which oddly enough, peeps seem to really like Here is Dr. Dan's Haunted Mansion, which my friend Dan obviously named. It is basically a cheesy/fun haunted house with a little bit of every kind of theming inside and out Here is the log flume, which in my opinion is the best one I've evr made. It just looks realistic to me Katapult is a very tight/intense intamin rocket coaster. I had my doubts about adding this into a pay-per-ride park, but I think it ended up fitting in nicely I spent a good deal of time building a town around the park, and I think it came out good. Here you can see Comfort Inn, McDonalds, Foxmore Drive-In Cinemas, and Mickey's Irish Pub The train ride comes out of the park and into the suburbs Here is the Little Thrill Coaster with ThunderBird's airtime hills in the background Overall, I really like this park, but I have no Idea how to make it available to download. If someone could tell me that would be great. Oh, and of course, comments and critisicm are appreciated.

. I have some bad news. It seems as though I just was not supposed to build this park. Things have gone totally down-hill since I built Hyawani. I put in RCT2 planninng on expanding A LOT, and here is what happened...First, people just started getting smushed up on paths and I won an award for the park with the most confusing layout. I tried to go around and make all paths just one wide (taking away from realism, but helping guests) and while I was doing that, the breaks on the Shooting Star failed and 24 people died. I first thought, "Eh, whatever," but then I realized I would have to re-track the whole ride in order for it to be safe, and even if I did, the guests would refuse to ride it, so after my stress levels reached a record high, I called it quits. Sorry. I have learned two things from this. Never again build a side-friction coaster and always build paths ONE wide. Ok, there is some good news (no, I didn't save money on my car insurance). Before this park I built another park called Burns's (thats my last name ) Family Amusement Park. I never bothered to post it anywhere, but as I think of it now, the park was a totally awesome Knoebels inspired park with two awesome woodies. I think I will post pics. Would anyone like to see them? -

Ocean Air RCT2 Park
zburns999 replied to zburns999's topic in Roller Coaster Games, Models, and Other Randomness
I didn't have much time tonight, so I built a new coaster called Hayawani (means beast in Swahili language). It's 200 feet tall and would be awesome in real life. Here are some pics. Here you can see most of the layout. The station In front of the station you can see the air-time filled finish. That's all for now. Fell free to comment and critiscize. -

I've always thought I am extremely lazy with theming. I only add supports on woodens coasters, Intamins, Arrows, and Schwarzkopfs, because in my opinion, the mechanical supports look too bulky. It really only takes me about 5-10 minutes to add supports to an average coaster (it takes a LONG time for a big one). So, overall, my advice is to just try it a few times. If you like it keep at it, and if you don't, forget it (I could care less if a coaster has fancy supports or not, although sometimes it looks cool 8) ). After a while it becomes habbit and it takes a short amount of time. -
Well, the last park I was working on died so I decided to start a new one. It is a large park located on a beach on the Atlantic ocean. I hope to have about 18-20 coasters (I built this park specifically to be based off Cedar Point) in the park, but I havn't been working too long, and I'll post what I have. American Force-a 260 foot tall hyper next to the parking lot Black Powder-a Gravity Group wooden coaster with "steel" supports Atlantic Mine Ride-an old mine train coaster with quick, short drops Schwarzkopf's sp* Double Loop with American Force in the background The Shooting Star, an old side friction coaster with brakes over every hill 8) Storm, a twisted B&M stand-up Insanity is one of those coasters enthusiasts hate but GPs love. At least it accelerates faster than Superman Here is an overview of the park so far. I've still got a lot of room Please, feel free to comment and critiscize!!!

^I don't know, it started to get bad over there. Sorry if I'm making things worse. I'll be quiet. Yes, I agree, these are some of the friendliest forums on earth (and RCPro!!!) and it needs to stay like that! -

I don't even want to think about a longer Vekoma Boomerang. It is unique though, and the park looks awesome. -
Six Flags Ultimato
zburns999 replied to coasterfreak101's topic in Roller Coaster Games, Models, and Other Randomness
Wow. That the wooden coaster is great. I'm not sure about the 90 degree drop on Nitrous, but hey, that's just my opinion. Overall, I think it looks pretty nice so far. -
Ok. I've been building up steam for the last 15 minutes so I need to let this out. I'm innocently sitting at my computer playing RCT2, when I answer the phone and it is one of my sister's friends. I give the phone to my sister and moments later shes prancing around the house giggling and repeting "Yes! Yes! I'm going to Great Adventure." Well, I'm thinking, Holy Mother of God! I'm the one who spends my time on RCPro and TPR and tomorrow I will be the only one out of my brother and sister and I who has NEVER been on Kingda Ka, Nitro, B&R:TC, B:TR, S:UF, Medusa, or GASM. To make matters worse, I have to wake up early to run a cross country race. The part that pisses me off the most, is that I was at cross country camp the day I was invited to Great Adventure. Ughhhh! Life is going good at one moment and the next moment it sucks. You may think this isn't that big of a deal, but I just want to say that my parents hardly ever take me to parks, and my sisters screechy voice is really getting on my nerves. SHE DOESN"T EVEN KNOW WHO BOLIGER AND MABLIARD ARE! Wow, I feel a lot better now.

It would be great if they re-created Itchy and Scratchy Land. They could even include explosion land, unnecissary surgery land, and gas pain land. I might do that in RCT2.

Haha. Best...Ending...Ever. Seriously, even my brother who thinks only nerds talk on coaster forums was laughing and telling me to play it over and over. -
Favorite Water Ride
zburns999 replied to SFMM rocks my socks's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
I think that HersheyPark has some of the greatest water rides of any park. Tidal Force is one of the biggest of its kind, and Canyon River Rapids is better than any rapids ride I've ever been on (a close tie with Grizzly Run at SF:DL). Then there is CoalCracker, which is a long, fun flume ride, and RollerSoaker, which is very unique and gets you absolutely drenched. The water rides at Islands of Adventure look like the best ones overall. Ripsaw Falls and Jurassic Park look great. -
Discovery Channel Needs YOUR help!
zburns999 replied to robbalvey's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
I am really excited to see how Speed Monster turns out. Storm Runner is beyond great, and the concept art makes the ride look a lot like it as far as uniquness goes. It will deffinitely be a great addition to Intamin's ardenal of awesome coasters, and I would really like to see a clip about it on this new show. -
I can't wait for Haloween in Hershey. Will anyone else be there?

What Was The Last Coaster You Rode?
zburns999 replied to SharkTums's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
Storm Runner-yesterday. My sister and I sat in car five, row one (one row from the back), and it was one of the most insane rides ever! It was even better than the front.
