  1. Thanks for letting me know so quickly. I'm just eager to see this beast in person next year on my road trip.
  2. Any webcam updates on where Banshee is?
  3. I second this, I love seeing all of the wonderful photos and people with weird faces.
  4. I'd definitely be all for a couple Air Race's coming into the Cedar Fair chain. If KBF got one, which would be fitting in very nicely, the other park could be CGA. But that's just me dreaming for CGA, I would definitely love one here in the Bay Area.
  5. Watching that coaster gave me a headache, almost as bad as Vortex at CGA.
  6. I don't think that could work, for 1 all of the coasters will be in rehab and most of the rides as well. So honestly, there wouldn't be a point, also GWW did its last year, last year.
  7. I have to agree with you here, I've been on a few GCI's and this one has to be their best creation by far. It just doesn't get old to me, every time I ride it, it's like i'm riding it again for the first time.
  8. Saw some Gold Striker love, but anyways i'm loving all of these updates Robb. Maybe one of these days i'll get out to IAAPA and see it all in person. I hope we get to see some more GCI love in the next updates. Question: When will be be starting to give away IAAPA bags o' crap?
  9. If only every park could have some Flying Scooters and be lenient with the rules as well.
  10. ^^ I second that idea, it would fit in nicely and definitely add to the atmosphere.
  11. Iron Medusa at SFMexico or Goliath at SFGam. And for the norcal people: CGA or SFDK Post #700!!!
  12. I know I love the coasters at CP and can have a great time. I'd rather go to WDW as a whole, the parks can't even compete with each other as they're in completely different leagues. But to answer the question, id go to WDW any day over CP.
  13. Most intense wooden coaster: El Toro hands down. (or up, whichever you prefer) Most intense steel coaster: Maverick in it's opening year. Totally worth waiting 4 hours for it.
  14. Yes, if anyone would like to go to the park this Friday, you can join us and join in on the gold pass deal. So please message us as soon as you can.
  15. I wasn't at any of the boo-fets last year, im expecting some lines to get long (Gold Striker, dia de, zombie high). But im gonna figure that it shouldn't be too bad.
  16. Sorry for the double post, but im wondering who all is going to be at opening night of haunt? Im so stoked but at the same time sad as its that much closer to CGA closing again for the season.
  17. Who all is going this weekend? My gf and I will be there on both Friday and Saturday nights. It'll be her first major haunt event, I don't think Fright Fest counts. But anyways, looking forward to running into some familiar faces and maybe some new ones as well. When it's closer to the day, i'll post what for you to look for to find me.
  18. Yeah, should be a nice addition for some families who attend Haunt. Although I may skip it as i'd rather do the real mazes and rides.
  19. I know i'm doing Haunt most if not all days this weekend, It's been way too long without a decent haunt event for me.
  20. ^ Where did you hear that? Where is your proof?
  21. Gold Striker 20 times yesterday, was great from start to finish. From the promo shoot.
  22. Today was a great day at the park, it was really cool seeing all of the stuff going up for haunt, especially the flowers when walking towards the fliers spelling out HAUNT. It was also super quiet at the park, so that meant lots of rides on GS, I got on 20 rides today making my total 226. I was just baffled at how quiet it was for a Saturday, also we now have even BIGGER walls on the drop turnaround, caught me by surprise. All in all today was just awesome all around. I feel that I should add that Grizzly's crew was especially slow that day, I decided to give it a courtesy ride with a station wait. They were doing the SFMM thing where before they dispatch the train they say, Are you ready? (no one yells), Oh c'mon, ARE YOU READY. still only two people yell. I get on and then they don't do that, but then here's what irked me. We went through the circuit and got back, they haven't even let the people off the other train yet, we sat there for like 5-6 minutes. I took a quick power nap, told the people in front of me to wake me up when we start moving. But other than that, it was an awesome day at CGA.
  23. Sorry for the double post, but i'll be heading out to the park today. Feels like it's been ages since I was last there, I can probably take some pictures of the haunt details that have been put out already.
