  1. Finished out my coaster season on The Phoenix at Knoebels
  2. Still even though a couple parks were missed because of not being around, it's still a great reason to show why TPR trips are fantastically amazing!
  3. Great couple photos Hanno!
  4. I don't remember, what it was exactly, but it there just seemed to be new bits and pieces throughout the entire ride so it was hard to pinpoint. Each time I've ridden it, it's been different. (When it opened at last years PPP, the week after that, in april this year, and this years PPP). When the group I was with got on the flyers (I don't ride as they would make me sick) a higher up had gone to the flyers ride op telling him to knock it off with the slowing down/stopping the ride when people snapped.
  5. Thanks for sharing all that info Larry. I didn't realize that there were that many parks on the trip.
  6. Looks like an epic adventure. Someday, I'll get back to Disney. And Bean is utterly adorable & Chris looks like he had a great time even if he doesn't remember it.
  7. I had a great time at PPP yesterday. Most of the day it was crowded but not too crowded. Most of the crowds were over by the Covered Bridge festival. I did make my way over to the Covered Bridge side for a later lunch of awesome cheese fries and chocolate covered pineapple. The only ride I didn't get on during the night was the Antique Cars. (I went on during the day, so I could see all the stuff they had set up) but planned poorly after eating and hitting up some of the other rides towards the front, and got back too late to get in line for the cars. The Phoenix was running amazing as usual, and I won't even complain too much about Twister either. (I'm pretty sure I was more irritated with the girl who decided to help herself to the seat as I putting my purse aside and deciding she was having her hands up the whole time and kept elbowing me in the head. (I really should have thrown my body into hers to make her stop, lol.) Also anyone else know if the Black Diamond, got some additional scenes in it? Some of the stuff on the ride yesterday looked different from when I was there in April. And it just didn't look like stuff they added in for Halloween either. It's also a great time on the bumper cars when a day later you find bruises on your hands People may complain about PPP no matter what, but I still find it enjoyable.
  8. Great start! Can't wait to see the rest of the trip from your POV.
  9. Looks like everyone had fun even with some of the stresses of the trip.
  10. Yes that view looks absolutely stunning. I'd ride that coaster a few times just for the views.
  11. Fantastic update Megan! Love those bears! That one standing up looks like a human in a bear suit, lol.
  12. Big mike, The trip looks amazing! I'm glad you and Megan had a once in a lifetime experience. And I want to see Megan's cartwheels
  13. Megan, looks like you and the Big Man had a fabulous time. I look forward to seeing China from your perspective.
  14. Welcome back Big Mike! Glad you had a good time (well at least that's what i gathered on FB). Can't wait to see some pictures of the trip. Congrats to Arosania & ahecht and making it to the finals!
  15. Looks like a great last couple of days on the trip!
  16. I've been on two trips, one with just under 100 people and one with about half that. Both are awesome experiences. No matter how many are on a trip you'll still have fun!
  17. Great update Chad! Outlaw Run is looking pretty darn good!
  18. Cedar Fair is being safe. After being on three of them (all of them which have had reported issues), I never felt unsafe in the ride. The fact that the rides stopped when something out of kilter was noticed is a good thing, now they just need to take a look at an easier way to lower people down.
  19. Soak'd at Freestyle park? Elevator lift may mean different type tracks?
  20. Big Dipper, Geauga Lake? There's a big dipper in australia that's SBNO? and Big dipper is still SBNO at Geauga too.
  21. Has TPR ridden this coaster before?
  22. Was it an easily accessible coaster when it was operating? (as in park location?)
  23. Is the park operating or defunct?
  24. Has TPR been there in the past 3 years?
