A friend of mine was a mgr at McD's. He used to have picnics and cook-outs with the burgers from McD's. When grilled, they taste nothing like Mc'd's at all. they taste like Burger King.

Congrats on 678, Zaney! -
Great nite, good food good friends. Had good pics til the cops took my camera, tis evidence....... they contend We block off the alley, had radios set, we ran our own drags, we placed our own bets, burning asphalt mixing with beer and dancing sweat the babes gyrating and swaying, RPM's to 7000 Drop the Rag, -----------Blast Off! Cops waiting at the end of the alley.... after 7th drag. underage drinker??/? found zip.... Noise violations???? DB reader reading 50.... What's with the alley closed signs?????? BUSTED. GO STRAIGHT TO.... 2nd district. your camera or your car, uh, ( he couldn't call me a kid as i am twice as old as he is) i gave my camera. Moral: drinkiing in your hood and filming same= running faster whe yhou see the blue lights flashing... Results: 1/8th mile.\: 1999 Ford Mustang 5.0 Vs. 2003 Chev Impala 3.1 w/stage 2 turbo= 2003 chev winner... the poor Mustand was quick off the line, but blew it in the end. 1/8th mile 1965 Dodge Dart w/police interceptor vs. 2001 Mits Eclipse w/(according to its owner, a stage 3 turbo @270 ho. Dart won, unfortunately, his brakes failed and he hit a garage at about 60mph. (the owner of the garage wasn't po'd. he bet and won.) Next: a POS Rambler and a unicycle. (please don't ask for the HP on eitheras I could not venture a guess.) winner??? The damn unicycle. (poor ba$tard had no engine to blow, the rambler did, and did... clocking in as a sizzling 20.9 secs! Next on the mound came a mid90's Civic Vs; a Kia Rio .... this is about the time I asked for a sledgehammer and/or more batteries. C'mon, even a uni(bikest) could beat a Kia... and my camera was hurtin'... Maria gave me a 'special brew' and much to my surpirse. the Kia wasted the civic... by like .925 of a sec... That POS Kia was sporting a 327 small/w a sub to back it up. Next up: the ( truly f'd up cars) These are Crackhead cars: I mean: spoilers mounted the wrong way.50 hot nitrous going into standard intakes \, No Fear stickers w/petrefied drivers. We have: the rmains of a 1995 Toy Celica vs. a 1990 Ford(mazda powerplant 3.0) probe. we had... serioius smoke, serious noise... and now the winner. both blew their engines and neither crossed the finish line. Skipping to the last race: We had 2004 Pontiac GTO vs. a 2002 Chevrolet Corvette. The Vette smoked great at the start (the engine sounded fantastic, churning out 300 plus horsie's) but the GTO took it... As far as the food goes: it was a mix of german, puerto rican and cuban and was nothing short of great. The music was a mix of R&B with the B52's, the thompson Twins, Boston and Seatle Grunge:Alice in Chains and tons of Salsa. A great time was had by many. Have a Great night from Scranton road in Clevleland Ohio.

Belle: how'd greg do? I'm glad to hear about a woman being excited about what her man is doing. Call me old fashioned, but it sounds so encouraging (sp?) Maybe this should be a thread: how do you look at your 'chosen'?. or something. ...Any forward movement is a great thing. -Mark -

Simple: We never get permits and Drag racing is illegal almost everywhere. about half the houses participate. We block off the alleys from the sidestreets and basically party loud til dawn. We only do this about four-five times a year. It tends to happen when a lot of us get the same mid-week day off. In this case, Thursday. We've only been stopped by the cops twice in two years. They got mad because of the barricades we put in front of the alleys. There is usually little or no underage drinking (unless they sneak it from their folks.) -

My daughter, 15 yrs old, has said that as well. In school, anything goes... It's not uncommon in the malls around cleveland ohio to see both male and females couples walking arm-in-arm. they look high school aged. -

I can't say much about Danbury, but the Franklin Mint Civil War chess set i've got is fantastic. ( my mom got it for me for a bday present the year before she died.) The detail is incredible. Some people collect things, others don't. No sweat. -

Okay, I confess: I saw Barry Manilow in 1980 at Blossom Music Center near Cleveland ohio. I did not buy the tickets. It was my girlfriends idea of a surpirse. Surprise?!?!? I was in shock and quite depressed for two weeks after it.
