Nobody hates you, you just need to chill out a bit and stop taking things so personally. Robb & Elissa didn't start the UK trip board to make you feel excluded, it's just so that we can discuss who snores, who wants to sight-see, and how many pairs of shorts we're all bothering to pack without boring the hell out of the people not going on the trip! The "VIP" thing was just a joke, it's nothing to do with popularity, it just makes their life easier to have everything relating to the trip in one place. So forget about it! And chill. 8)

I'm going to a dress up Halloween party on the 29th (the dodgy kind, not the scary costume kind) and then to a non-fancy-dress party with ghost stories and free booze on the actual night! At least I'm out of the house, the area where I live is horrible on halloween... :shock:

Just had a listen to a clip on iTunes... Wow, I really do like it! Was debating pre-ordering the album but think I'll wait until it's up there first for me to sample every track before buying. Hope it's all got that disco feel though.

I have the forum page saved in favourites and usually the three to four hours a day I spend at home between classes finishing and going out for the night I'll have that minimised, just keep refreshing every once in a while. No need to visit the main site page, you email us if there's any updates! I'm sometimes here stupidly late at night UK time too as I do not sleep well. I usually read the Not-So-Uber-Super-Secret UK Trip Board first, then go back to the top for Donkeys, Alveys, Random, etc. Generally I don't bother with the Games thread except for the occasional browse as I don't play. I also don't read trip reports without photos, it just isn't the same somehow, you and Elissa have spoiled me with too many pictures! Over the summer when I was quite poorly I read through a lot of the older stuff that interested me on the boards so I now only read the topics with new posts. EDIT: Two posts while I was typing that plus I forgot stuff. Don't usually chat because for some reason my computer seems to struggle with the chat room. Will search if there's something really specific I'm after. And I always check the stickies.

I'm so glad the water jets are back on at Ripsaw!! I can understand why you heard that they weren't there anymore, they were switched off at my last two visits. They always scare me slightly ever since watching my brother ride it a few years back... The guy next to him was sick as they flipped upside down, just as the jets came up and.... You can guess the rest. Let's just say all the windows were down in the car coming home... :?

About six weeks ago me and my boyfriend of three and a half years split and... It's still tough. Everybody finds different ways of dealing with things but the thing that worked for me was this. It's pointless trying to carry on as normal and just ignore the pain because that's impossible. But at the same time sitting around and wallowing does you no good whatsoever. After two days of moping around I told myself that I had exactly one week to be as miserable as I wanted, stay in my pjs and cry all day, listen to soppy music, watch chick flicks and get drunk. So that's what I did! But at the end of that week I got off my arse and started to piece myself back together again. At the end of the day, yes you love her, and this is gonna hurt big time, but your life will move on, because it has to. Since that first week I've been spending more time with friends I'd perhaps moved away from a little during those three years, making new friends, and having a good time. Sure I still get upset from time to time but... I'm starting to move on a little. Sorry I went on for so long, got a bit carried away... Hope that helps a little anyway. Take care of yourself. Nah, I don't take life seriously at all, generally the opposite really. But I think it's good sometimes to look around and not be totally happy with the world, makes you strive to improve things. I don't get depressed about it though, it's just sad! Enough deep discussion, back to the gun war! I mean, the war ABOUT guns, not using guns. Not that it was a war... The friendly discussion concerning guns. :?
