After this years mini trip to Spain i would like to add: - Coaster Express - Stampida - Tomahawk - Furius Baco's outer seats (huge difference between the outer and inner ones)

Went to Port Aventura two days ago and there was a lot of digging in this area but no further information about the forthcoming coaster. My advise to PA: put in some extra money for maintenence. We experienced a lot of headbanging. Every single coaster was rough, from moderate (Dragon Khan - even a B & M! and Diablo) to painful (Stampida, Tomahawk and Furius Bacos outer seats). I'm also surprised that a park with so many foreign visitors have employees that speak no english at all. Shape up please!

Just two weeks from now - a trip to Spain ! I'll be visiting following parks: Friday 9th sept. - Parque des Attractiones Saturday 10th sept. - Parque Warner Monday 12th sept. - Port Aventura I hope to add 18 new coasters to my ride list

Exactly! In my opinion - you can´t go wrong with B & M. Haven´t been on a bad one so far.

The last ones worth mentioning: Rocket @ Furuvik, Sweden Spinner @ Skara Sommarland, Sweden Tranan @ Skara Sommarland, Sweden Tranan, S & S Powers Free Flyer, was surprisingly good, especially the moment when "the wings" switch side.

I will definitely visit this nice park again. Last time La Via Volta was SBNO.

Arbetarbladet, a local paper in Gävle (Sweden), posted this just before the opening of Rocket @ Furuvik. The guys testing the ride are described as experienced riders but they admit they're nervous (?!). Gerstlauer seem to have done a proper job with the refurbishing. Btw, SCI may sound serious but it's far from that - a bunch of middleaged friends trying to get an excuse to leave home for 4-5 days a year. And yes - our ultimate dream is a TPR trip.
