  1. I made the Segway tour around the world a few times and I always enjoyed it. It is a 2 hour tour and starts with 1 hour training at Innoventions. There they are showing you how the Segway works and how you are going to ride it in the right and save way. After that you will start your 1 hour tour around the world. From Innoventions you are first going to the Figment attraction for a quick restroom break and from there directly to the World Showcase. You are passing Mexico and Norway without much notice. Then you will start with China (remember the World Schowcase from China to the International Gateway is still closed for all other Guest, at that time), there the guide will tell you a few facts about the country and you are going to roll around the pavilion. From China you will make it over Germany (also a stop) to Italy. In Italy you will have a bit time of your own to make pictures and rolling around. Next stop will be Japan, Morocco and France (always with a stop and the guide will tell you a story about countries). From France you will make it back to Future World and everything is nearly over. At the end you will get a special Pin, which you only get when you made the tour. Like I said, I made the tour a few times and can only recommend it! Times: Tours run 4 times daily, 7:45 am, 8:30 am, 9:00 am, and 9:30 am. Cost: $85 per person (includes tax). Booking: here - Walt DisneyWorld or at any Guest Relations window. --Soren
  2. Braugarten I think it is time for another restaurant from my trip. This time I will bring you into German food in Brazil. Yes, it sounds a bit strange to go to a German restaurant in Brazil, but I kinda miss the good German food and I was curious how the food will be there. In total I was really surprised how good the food was there. With all the theming around me, I had the feeling I would be back in EPCOT´s Germany, which was very strange. Anyway, I had Kassler with a sweet mustard sauce and Röstie and my girlfriend had a steak with cheese sauce and Röstie! I need to say it was very tasty and we had a great evening. Of course I also had a German beer Since they had no Beck´s beer, I had a Paulaner! I am sure we will go there again to try some other food and another German beer! Onto the pictures: --Soren and: Steak with cheese sauce - Thanks for reading! and the food: Kassler with mustard sauce ahh, it is good time for a Paulaner the menu the other side inside the Oktoberfest... ahh, I mean Braugarten Welcome to the Braugarten

  9. Today I had my first, I guess, brazilian beer. I found that bottle and it said Malzbier, which was kind of German. So, I bought the bottle and I need to say it was really good. The German Malzbier is alcohol free but not this one, that is why it was also interesting for me. So, the Antartica is a dar beer with a sweet honey taste, which was really different, but I think I will have a few more, since I got the sixpack! --Soren yes, it is really good. give it a taste here it is Antartica Malzbier

  25. Photo-TR: Soren´s Culinary Trip Through Brazil Joakin´s "O Hamburger Definitivo" Some of you know that I am in Sao Paulo-Brazil since a few weeks to visit my girlfriend and I had the chance to go to a lot of restaurants so far. I was trying to make pictures everytime we visited a restaurant, to show you guys how the food and the restaurants are here in Brazil. Joakin´s: So, let´s start with the first restaurant. The place is called Joakin´s and it is kind of a Hamburger restaurant. Joakin´s exist there since 1965 and they told me it is one of the oldest hamburger places in Sao Paulo. Anyway, my first impression was that the place looked a bit like a Denny´s, but after sitting there for a while I need to say it is more a “high class” Denny´s. They are having awesome shakes there and great burgers. It was also interesting to see that they are having sweet or piquant waffles and pancakes. A nice gimmick is the open kitchen in the middle of the restaurant. The whole time you can watch them preparing your food. Ohh, I need to say the desserts were also looking great. I had a good burger with nearly everything on it, they are having on the menu and after that a warm waffle with ice cream and a marshmallow topping. Overall I need to say it is a great restaurant, with a nice atmosphere and good food. I was feeling really full and happy after the dinner we had there. One last thing at the end. They are having a free parking service, which was great because it was raining that night. We just stopped infront of Joakin´s, jumped out of the car and one of the guys were parking our car. After leaving the restaurant he was already back with the car and waiting for us. So, I need to say that is a great service. So, I hope you liked my first review. More will come, soon! --Soren at the end a blurry picture from the open kitchen my girlfriends dessert my dessert yummy my burger Welcome at Joakin´s
