Mordecai- Between The Buried and Me. I think it's a horrible song until the 2:31 mark. Then I think the song is actually wonderful!

SeaWorld Orlando (SWO) Discussion Thread

It's awesome that they are getting a new coaster. It's also pretty neat that the coasters they do/will have are unique: floorless and flying. -
I also went to a concert last night with 5 local bands. I don't have any pics or vids, but it was an amazing concert. It ranged from acoustic rock to heavy metal. Great time overall.

I'm loving the Great America commercials! It's my homepark, and anything about its past highly interests me. -
Maverick Or Top Thrill Dragster?
cycamps replied to thrillrideseeker's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
I love both coasters a lot. They're my number one and number two favorites. However, speed is bred into my family (my dad races trucks, my brother and I race 4-wheelers) and for that reason I like Dragster just a tiny bit more. However, they offer two totally different experiences. On terms of layout and total enjoyment, Maverick takes the cake. But Dragster's launch is just amazing! -
Most thrilling drop?
cycamps replied to RIP Psyclone's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
I've never rode a 1st gen freefall, but I've heard that they have pretty good drops. I'm also impressed by the small Moser spring rides. While they're not intense, they pack a good punch for being the size that they are. I really enjoy Dr. Doom's Fearfall too... -
Mac all the way! I love the software offered with it, as well as how well it runs. I have nothing against PC, but after using Mac, I fell in love with it.

Grand Theft Auto IV on PS3 and 360
cycamps replied to verticalzero's topic in Random, Random, Random
I'm highly anticipating this game. I've had the special edition reserved since August, thinking that it would come out in October like originally promised. It'll be a great game nonetheless, and even better if you can ride the Cyclone! -

Cedar Point - Is it worth it?
cycamps replied to orangeblue's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
June crowds are pretty decent. It's not insanely full. My suggestion is to go on Gay day. I'm not gay, (and not inferring you are) but the lines seem to be drastically shorter on that particular day. You should be able to ride all the coasters in 2 days. It depends on when you end up going though. Definately hit up Top Thrill Dragster, Millennium Force, Maverick, and Magnum XL-200. Blue Streak is a great woodie too. It's definately worth staying at a CP hotel for the extra hour. You can hit up Millennium Force, Maverick, Iron Dragon, Skyhawk, and Raptor first thing in the morning. I've had considerably short wait times during weekdays in June. The longest I waited in 2007 was 3 hours for Maverick, and that was when it broke down several times while waiting. With the starlight pass, I was able to get 11 of the 17 coasters in. The chane of rain is iffy. You can't really tell. However, you're screwed if it does rain with CP's rain policy. I think all three parks are great. However, Cedar Point has always been my favorite, and I love every ride there. -
Olsor's Amusement Shoebox

I guess that's not what they're called. I could've swore I've heard that somewhere before.... Anyway, what I meant was the old coaster that was at Coney Island that swiveled like it was on an axis. It was a plain circle layout. Does that help at all? -

I have two questions: 1. How would those Top Hat coasters get loaded and unloaded without the trains colliding? 2. How do you manage to get a video from VHS to the internet? (Olsor mentioned buying cheap blank tapes at Walgreens) -
Casino. A genius film...

^I believe he's only rode a few. I know that he's stated that he's had motion sickness since he was a child. -

On page two's Entertainment Tonight video, at the very end, the host is shown talking with a very light picture of a wooden coaster in the background. Is that the American Eagle? Also, I'd like to say that those National Geographic videos were great! -

These are great videos. It's a nice change in pace from the pictures. Going along with what someone else said, for Magnum and Millennium Force, I can't imagine what people thought of them when they first came out. -

What got you interested in coasters?
cycamps replied to thrillgeek's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
My friend invited my to SFGAm a few years back. After riding the coasters, I had a sudden fascination, and here I am today!
