  1. Mine was Carnosaur.
  2. Maybe, but the Wii has online too, and it's free.
  3. Hayabusa. It means Peregrine Falcon, the fastest animal on earth (It flies over twice as fast as the cheetah runs).
  4. SFNE is my home park, and I have yet to witness one-train op. They've run two trains every time I've been there, and that's 4-6 times a year! I guess you're just unlucky. But yes, it's worth it. Also, save your ride on the Cyclone for late in your trip. Once it gets going it's really fun! I find the best seat to be the front row of the last car. It's not too rough as it isn't directly over the wheels, and sometimes later on in the day, you can get airtime!
  5. The trims on Mean Streak make it more like Narcoleptic Streak. It was just so freaking BORING! No airtime, no real forces, nothing. It just sucked.
  6. Ummm... Why do you have Pandas in a Japanese Park? Pandas only live in China, not Japan. Also, having the Buddha is pretty weird, as Buddhism isn't that popular in Japan (Shinto is).
  7. The S&S Sky Swat Rides at Six Flags New England and Thorpe Park pull and sustain a great amount, although I'm not sure of the number.
  8. Here it is... the first official update for RED... Comments are appreciated! And sometimes, when I'm walking home, and I glance over to the Inverter, something is sitting there, in the first row... But the rides are left on at night, and no matter what lights we install, they always give off a blood red glow. The park always closes early and opens late, even in peak season (when people actually show up). It's never open past twilight or until after dawn. I operate the Inverter... on the off chance someone actually comes to ride it. The roller coaster was built just last year. It's a family oriented ride, but barely anyone comes here, let alone a whole family. The park is very small... some of the older rides have been replaced, but the park has never expanded. Welcome to Crescent Moon Park. A little park located in the dead center of the Great Plains.
  9. Yes, this project is still going strong. And I've got another trailer, with more plot teasers. RED THREE.wmv Third Trailer
  10. I may be able to meet up for a bit at SFNE during the east coast trip.
  11. Alright, I have been planning this for a while... This new story will be starting tomorrow. I will try to post my updates on days Stranahan isn't updating... So the first two teaser trailers for RED... RED.wmv Watch closely for some hints at the plotline... RED TWO.wmv Another small hint at the plotline...
  12. No Real Order: Katakuri-ke no kôfuku (The Happiness of the Katakuris) Attack of the Killer Tomatoes Grease High School Musical 1&2
  13. Oh, I know they were meant to be that way, and I'm not insulting anyone who liked TTD, just explaining my preference. It was still way better than Narcoleptic Streak.
  14. WOW... I've never seen the park that crowded! And why was their Frisbee so good? Was it running a better program than most?
  15. Wait, what was so funny? Did I miss something?
  16. SFNERules is correct. I meant Top Thrill was one element, whereas Maverick was a RIDE that actually did a lot.
  17. Sorry, no pictures, because my stupid camera's batteries were dead. But I recently took the 10-hour drive to Ohio to visit CP for a few days. I even got to stay in the nice resort! Anyway, I had 4 "park days," so here's my report! DAY 1: Arrived at about 6:00 PM, and headed into the park. It had been pouring earlier, but now it was just cloudy. The first thing I rode was the Power Tower, on the Turbo Drop side. It was good fun, and there wasn't any line, so that's a plus. Then I headed over to see if TTD was running. It wasn't since it had started sprinkling again. So instead, I rode the... CORKSCREW Well, this was better than I expected. It was actually quite smooth, I didn't hit my head once. There was even a little pop of air on the 2nd hill! Still, it was really short, and not too unique either. 6/10 It had dried up again, but soon enough it started to rain some more. I saw the Mantis running and decided to ride that. MANTIS Wow! This was really good. It was my first stand-up, but honestly most of the time it doesn't feel any different than a normal coaster. Still, the layout was good fun and it was pretty forceful, even if the ending was rough. 7.5/10 Then, I went back to the resort to get my strength up for... DAY 2 I didn't go to the park today, as it was pouring the whole time and it was pretty cold. But then we had... DAY 3 I got early admission and headed for the Maverick, but unfortunately it had broken down. So instead I went on... MILLENNIUM FORCE I was pretty excited about this one, and I got a decent seat near the back. The first drop was amazing, but after that, I honestly found the ride a bit boring. It was just a series of turns and two hills with little to no airtime. It was decent, but not memorable. 6.5/10 From now on, I'm just going to review the rides I went on that day: WICKED TWISTER I didn't think this would be that great, but I really liked it. The launch was nice, and the twisting spikes give you an awesome feeling of weightlessness. Plus, it's set on the beach, which is beautiful. 8/10 DISASTER TRANSPORT All the effects were off, so the ride was just a pitch black bobsled. It was decent enough though, and it wasn't nearly as boring as it would have been in the light. 6/10 BLUE STREAK This was really a typical out and back woodie. Sure, it's the oldest ride in the park, but there was less airtime on this than on the Yankee Cannonball at Canobie Lake, which is a good ride. This also wasn't that memorable to me, but there really wasn't anything wrong with it. 5.5/10 RAPTOR I was surprised by this one! The ride was pretty forceful, and the Zero-G roll was awesome. There was a bit of headbanging, but nothing too bad. They've also installed little video cameras onto the trains that record your ride, you can buy the video on DVD at the photo booth, on the off chance your camera was actually working. I rode this SIX TIMES just to get a stupid video. 7.5/10 TOP THRILL DRAGSTER I was cautiously optimistic about this one. The launch was incredible, and made me shriek like I was in a bad horror flick. But the ride was WAY too short, it was over before I could really get excited. 7/10 GEMINI This was the surprise of my trip. I didn't expect it to be half as good as it was. The turns were a bit slow, and only one side was running, but the ride was smooth, and actually had pretty good airtime! Also, the restraints were very comfortable, and the line was short. 7.5/10 MEAN STREAK I call this Narcoleptic Streak. It was just so freaking BORING. Nothing interesting happened in the layout, it was just a bunch of ovals. The trim on the first drop was horrid, and the turnaround didn't even need to be banked, the coaster was that slow. All the drops are like bunny slopes at a snowboarding place, extremely gradual and shallow, and devoid of excitement. The hills had NO airtime at all, and this ride was painful. My neck was sore for a good half hour after riding this turd. 0.5/10 MAVERICK This just blew me away. I got a front seat ride, and it was sweet. The forces were incredible, the Zero-G rolls were awesome, it had amazing airtime, and the second launch was really cool. The transitions were a bit rough, but overall, this is what TTD isn't: an actual ride instead of one element. 9/10 MINE RIDE My last coaster of the day. I decided, well hey, it can't be any worse than Narcoleptic Streak, and it wasn't. This was surprisingly fun, much better than that piece of crap Canyon Blaster at The Great Escape. 6.5/10 DAY 4 Today was mostly rerides and the challenge park, but there was one major coaster I still needed to ride... MAGNUM XL 200 I was on the first train of the day, and I loved it. It was a little bumpy, but the ejector air on the return stretch was INSANE. It literally catapults you out of your seat. My butt was 5 inches above my seat half of the time, I swear. 8.5/10 Well, that's all folks. Comments are appreciated!
  18. To me, the layout seems reminiscent of S:ROS at SFNE. Drop, Hill, Turnaround, Airtime hills, Twisty Section, Airtime hills. It's even next to the water like S:ROS! Of course, this is taller and steeper, but there are loads of trims and a huge MCBR... it doesn't seem as impressive. I'm sure it will still be a good ride, but that's just something I immediately noticed when I saw the layout.
  19. It was a prosthetic chin, which I deem to be part of "makeup", as just a chin doesn't constitute a mask. He was creepy though.
  20. Actually, it wasn't a mask.. just makeup. So, no, it wasn't that, just that I was kind of embarrassed to be there.
  21. Yes, SFA and DL's Superman rides are mirrored copies of one another, while SFNE's is totally unique, and awesome. They're made by the same company, have the same color track and trains, are over 200 feet tall, and have the same name. But that's pretty much where the similarities between the DL/SFA and SFNE Superman rides end.
  22. See, that's what I thought, and it's the reason I was so amazed. But it was actually REALLY good. Plus it was the one coaster that didn't have a huge line.
  23. No, just taking the picture of the Legion of Doom scared me away .
  24. That is the way that SFNE operates.
