A little jingle for your futur commercials "No cheat, only talent" To Xpress: I think he meant this is his first Flying, didn't he? -

Nice track once again^^ It was really smooth and well designed (just like you're used to do actually^^). I've just noticed a little bump or two in the last inversion, but I can permit myself to criticise your heartlines (on mines, there's no bumps, but jumps we could say lol). -
New park China, Happy Valley Chengdu
Théo the little french replied to RonLaan's topic in Photo Trip Report Archive
Perfect translation RonLaand! I remember I saw that web site a few months ago, and like you sam06pr I didn't understand why we could see a B&M flying while they're speaking about Intamin ride.... speaking about Intamin, does anyone knows if it's gonna be a custom mega-lite or if it's gonna be a clone? I don't know if mega lite is a new category or if it's a new model (I think it's a category but I'm not sure...). By the way, nice to see you here harsaphes lol -
Favourite Vekoma!

I really love Walibi Rhone Alpes' Boomerang! It's really funny, really soft and relax in fact. Okay, I've to admit this is the only "real" coaster I've ridden until now, but it's far away as bad and rough as many people love to say! If Robb and Elissa have a look on my post, well, I'm sad to learn them, that the "abnormal Boomerang" is no more! Indeed, they've changed this year the way to brake the train: it's doesn't need 4 or 5 times to stop, only 2 times now. To my view that's a bad thing 'cause it may have been unique on a boomerang and it must have been funny to be stopped in the cobra roll.... -

SPAM THREADS
Théo the little french replied to mcjaco's topic in Roller Coaster Games, Models, and Other Randomness
I have a little question: why do you ban peoples who respond to spams? Some of them don't understand they're talking to a spam, so the punishment seems a bit too much harsh.... After all, it's only my point of view and you must have reasons to do it, but it's kinda bad I think... -

Nice TR as always^^ Fatal Bazooka is actually a comedian who parodys rap singers and he does some humoristic songs (he was very famous a few months ago). Why have you been to Walygator?! To many french fans, this is probably one of the sickest parks in our country! You should have come to WRA (moreover I'd have joined you lol) -
Interview with B&M
Théo the little french replied to verticalzero's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
Very interesting article! It's so rare to read Bolliger/Mabillard's interviews! -
In a hand I'm pretty happy/excited it's gonna be an Aquatrax because il love the concept, but in the other hand I don't really care actually lol (first Australia is too much far away from France and then Aquatrax's trains are really small I've been told so I couldn't ride it lol). I don't know why but I almost hear Elissa screaming madly behind her computer screen reading this news^^

Well, to upload you NL track, it's like if you uploaded a picture on the forum (have ever done it? if no: at the bottom of the page it written "add photo, video or other attachment" you just have to select your track in "filename" and then you click on 'add photo, video or other attachment" at the bottom of the page (just above "preview" and "submit" do you understand? I don't really explain well lol). Otherwise.... I really love the video, it's a great job! Logos are beautiful and the music is well chosen^^ From what I could see, I would say the same things than Haux but I would add the all first turn (the one before the lift hill) is far away too much curved, and your mid-course brakes brake the train too much late and strongly. You should first use only one brake section and then, click twice on the brake section to choose when you want trains slow down and rule the brakes for a softer brake. About the bad transition I can't really explain you how to fix it... sorry. Don't worry! For a first track it's not bad! And as you said yourself, with helps you'll getting better

First of all: Woops^^ I'm always a bit lost with this word lol Then, there is something I didn't understand, what does "don't 'mesh' with each other" mean? About the fact I didn't use well the setting, well at the begining I wanted to make something more fantastic with fish in the air (like if it was in a dream), I also wanted to built a new station (kinda fantastic too). But when I made the last supports I was so much happy to finish this ride I finally thought "f..k the setting and the station!" Otherwise thanks for your comment and you advice (about the too thin supports).

Here it is!! Track's finally complete!^^ Just one advice: don't wase you time with the tunel test: it won't succed because I don't take care of that test (I think there is more important/interesting). Comments and critics are welcome! Seasick.nltrack Seasick.wmv Video (on/off ride with a stupid story line I made only to spend time lol)

I agree with Dbru, there are two red spikes and at the final brakes trains go through supports (I think you've modified the track after you made supports^^). But I liked it! It was simple but funny, and very smooth! -
NL Cougar
Théo the little french replied to gnarkiller's topic in Roller Coaster Games, Models, and Other Randomness
That was a good first track!^^ Moreover you made a huge work! There were only a few red spots that spoiled a bit the ride, you should be careful with your curves: many times there are too much inclined or not enough. I fyou correct it in your next tracks it will be better! Then you'll learn new thing to make it smoother etc etc...... -
NL:Blue Whale
Théo the little french replied to sfkk339's topic in Roller Coaster Games, Models, and Other Randomness
Well, I'll try not to be to much rough (after all it's only your 2nd track so you've got time to learn many things). So what's good in your track: -The layout is pretty good, the deferent elements are well chosen to my view... -Gs were quite good (except in the corkscrew but even myself I have many difficulties with this inversion). -I got the feeling you used the smoother in your curves, if yes, that's a good thing!^^ Then what's not good: -Supports. You did it too much quickly, there aren't realistic and esthetic, you should take your time to do it and don't be afraid to try new things when you make supports. -You put brakes everywhere even in curves, and this is not realistic! Moreover it kills all the speed of the trains so you should keep the trains speed and built the layout depending the speed. For the moment, it's what you should improve. I you correct it, your rides'll be better! -
