  1. Have you considered chochorete gum?
  2. So I just finished the layout of an Intamin Megalite in No Limits and I’m looking to hear what people think before i put supports on. Also if anyone has a name or color suggestion, please share because I'm having creative block right now. Basically I just want to know if anything works/ doesn’t work with the layout, Specifically the little two railed ending that I think kind of drags on because it’s too slow. megalite.nltrack Veiw from the top Overall layout
  3. I'm a consumer whore! And how!
  4. I LIVE IN A GIANT BUCKET!!!!!
  5. Ricky, the dog from my comic strip.
  6. Whooooo Snowday!!!!!!!!!
  7. Without snowdays, us kiddies would result to Anarchy and fight the power.
  8. Oh man, please let there be a snow day tommorow.
  9. Some of the reward options are really cool. I would be thrilled if the more times I visit the park the more exit passes I get. Unfortunately, though I think I can expect the things like the flip-flops and the "free water bottle" to come way before exit passes. The more exit passes I can get my hands on, the happier I am at Six Flags. Exit Passes=Love

    2010 TPR Trip

Yeah, I kinda remember that too, so it was just floating around in my mind. I’m really interested in Europe. I would have signed up for Scandinavia if I had more cash, for now I’m satisfied with West Coast. However I am looking forward to the future when I have more money of my own. So if there was a Mainland Europe add on, would it include Holiday Park, and other parks around Germany, or would it be more, Spain/France oriented

    2010 TPR Trip

So what are the thoughts on the UK trip? I'm interested in visiting parks out of the U.S., but I also wanted to see some of those really screwed up parks in parts of Europe because the trip reports look like so much fun! Would there be a mainland Europe add-on, kind of like a few years ago? Or does the UK have it's own share of weird parks?
  12. While this was probably part of the bigger Carrowinds project as Eliza mentioned, I think they should have just re-themed this ride and build around it somehow. The themeing probably wore out its usefulness since probably not a single person who isn’t at least 15 can remember who Dauwne or Eliza Thornberry is.
  13. Looks nice, i love your concept and I can’t wait to see it come out! Just one question as of now: What's the circle thingy for?
  14. You must all contemplate the deeper meaning of this message: YAY!!!!
  15. Don't worry, everybody starts somewhere. My first attempts at NL were even worse if you can believe it, but the more coasters you make the more you'll get the hang of it. I have some tips: - Make sure the station and lift is straight and aligned with the little dot markers on the grid so it doesn’t bend. Make the station smaller, and turn the lift into 3 nodes, one entering the angle, one long straight one for the initial lift and a final one to exit the lift. Once you've done that highlight the middle part of the lift and right click, Make Straight. -make it taller, and also raise the air hills following the first drop a tad. If it’s taller it has more potential energy and will be faster through the course, meaning you can make some of the funky looking inversions taller, and thus, soother. - Use control-G to smooth often, however don't assume that what it changes it to doesn’t need further smoothening. Also, for almost EVRY node that isn't completely straight, click continuous rolling in the vertex panel. You wouldn’t believe what a difference it makes. - add some bunny hops in the straight areas. So the good: I like the layout concept, and the order of the inversions is unique, and some of the custom supports are great for your first attempt, just watch the ones on the lift. Just keep working on it and look for inspiration from actual coaster pictures and I'm sure it will turn out good. And I’m glad you’ve got a sense of humor.
  16. Have you ridden it this year?!?!?! They added a bunch of random Fright Fest objects, including a giant skeleton and this giant jack-o-lantern in the helix!
  17. New strips!!! I'm trying to get to a point where I can make a daily strip well... daily.
  18. Well, if it were the Duleing Dragons clone, wouldn't we see two colors of track?
  19. Wow, when I saw this topic I was going to immediately post the exact same thing. Hahaha Although I guess Disaster Transport is sort of fun in a tacky, turn-of-the-nineties way, and I suppose the big thing in the middle of the helix is a bit more than painted garbage cans and cardboard. I think Kennywood’s Exterminator deserves a mention here too. Not necessarily the worst themeing, but it’s still sort of weird, especially your first impressions with the line that’s supposed to look like a sewer or something, and to be honest, probably is made out of sewer parts. But the ride was pretty awesome looking back, but my first impression leaving was WTF?
  20. Well, the only B&M model Magic Mountain could possibly need or doesn’t already have something equivalent to is a Dive machine and that’s the one B&M model we can be certain this track isn’t, or else it’d be gigantic. But don’t get your hopes down, that doesn’t mean SFMM isn’t getting a coaster in 2010, I just wouldn’t expect it from B&M.
  21. Looks good for your first attempt! A tip for the future though, make sure all your turns are banked like the helix that way the ride will have a lower intensity rating and higher excitement rating, meaning more peps will enjoy it! I think you should try making a dueling GCI woodie next. If you study the layouts of Gwaizi and Lightning Racers you could probably create a really awesome ride!
  22. I like the fireworks on Chinese New Year! In China Town in Philly, people light them off day and night!
  23. ^ Haha, I saw that one on Youtube somewhere! Over the past 3 days, Yo Gabba Gabba has become my newest obsession. I watched this one clip with this song called "Different Shapes" and it was like an acid trip... only better.
  24. I just watched all three Back to the Futures in a row.
