I like the really tall, strait down body slide at GADV's Hurricane Harbor, but there are two other twisty ones next two it which might have been the worst ride experience of my life. Not only are they steep, but they take you in two circles before you hit the bottom, and to make it worse they feel like their less than two feet in diameter. The actual ride felt like someone was beating me up and holding my head underwater. I was so relived when it ended. I’ve never ridden either of those again.

At one of Morey's Pier’s waterparks they have these speed slides which I got more than two feet of air on one of the humps. That absolutely scared the schnikes out of me.

That was really cool! It reminded me allot of my visit to the Ford museum where they keep the Kennedy car and other historic items like this museum. It’s really amazing to actually see items like that in front of you. This place is definitely somewhere I wan to visit next time I’m in DC. Oh, and also I can name all those characters in the comics section. I have comic strip collections through the roof, and books on comic’s history. I occasionally turn to them for inspiration. ....I guess this means you lost your bet, haha. Also, Pogo is awesome. I go for him too.

That was an awesome TR. That Intamin invert looked awesome. The world needs more custom Intmain inverts. Actually the world needs more custom Intamins period.

^ Thanks. That's a cool site. I really liked the artwork and I could tell it was made by professional animators. That’s cool because I’m planning on going into that field after college. I'll definitely have to look into that if I don't get accepted, but for now I'm just passing time until I get a reply (not to mention passing time to get to the West Coast trip. ) I guess I'll just have to see what happens. If I do get accepted, I'm going to be very, very busy next year, seeing how long it took me to finish these 30 or so strips, however a good sign was today after being relived from all the pressure to get this in ASAP, I just sat down an knocked out two more dailies without even thinking about it. (I'm still finishing the second on the computer so I’ll post tomorrow.)

So a few weeks ago while admiring Balder and envying everyone on the Scandi trip I had the idea to make a Balder type Intamin Prefab; Something less that 125 feet but packs a serious punch. So what I came up with is like balder but has smaller elements similar to those of T-Express. Overall I just tried to create an Intamin feeling woodie so I hope you enjoy. I'm still going to make a few finishing touches later, like smoothening, supports, etc.... but for now I'm putting it here open for critique. I'm calling it "Hastighet" because according to Google translator that's "speed" in Swedish, going with the Scandinavia theme. It's around 115 ft tall and 2800ft long. It's record-breaking for the highest banked turn, since there is one overbank at 130 degrees. Other than that it's like all the other four Intamin prefabs, it never lets up a second until the break run and has breathtaking air time. So here are editor pictures. I saw Transformers again today. It made me want to yell at all the Transformers haters "THIS MOVIE IS AWESOME NO MATER HOW MUCH YOU TRASH IT!!!"

It looks brand new! They really fixed it up good. I'm glad to see Lazer is being put to good use. Also IKEA is awesome, and that makes Lazer even awesomer now.

Ok, so here are the last two strips of my syndicate package. I printed out everything today and wrote the cover letter. Now the only thing left to do is go to the post office tomorrow. Then I’ll just have to wait for a reply. Problem is that I’ll probably be on the West Coast tour then. For anyone interested, this is what my cover letter says: As a whole, Rib Roast is about life with dysfunctional and high-maintenance people, however in the case of this strip, these people are depicted as anthropomorphic pigs rather than humans. Although all human characters are pigs, the jokes rarely revolve around that fact, rather dealing with mischief, antics, articulations and arguments between different characters. The fact that the obnoxious five-year-old Hunter can never learn from his foolish mistakes only makes it more impacting when he tries to blame someone else or threatens to take legal action. Peter, the older character, manipulates or annoys people with his moody, smart-aleck personally and abuses his easily-taken-advantage-of friend, Tyler, who has respect from virtually nobody. Janet is Peter’s mom, however she also watches after her sister’s children, Hunter and Janine while her sister works a full time job. This complication is what allows Hunter to get away with much more than he could with a structured, functional mother. Finally there is Ricky the Dog, who has to watch and endure life with the people around him, however earns his respect using mostly his teeth, or occasionally a bat. Ricky is an independent thinker and does allot more than others can acknowledge when they aren’t around to see. I have been a devoted cartoonist since a young age and have practice pen and ink drawing over the years. Rib Roast is an evolution of some of these earlier cartoon attempts. Several of the Rib Roast Sunday cartoons have been printed in the high school publication “The Springfield Chronicle” and after only one year of running, Rib Roast was awarded first prize in the state of Pennsylvania PSNE Keystone Scholastic awards for Cartoon/Graphic Illustration. A copy of the certificate can be seen in the back of this submission. Rib Roast has been in the works for over a year and a half now, as I have been developing both the art and the writing since I decided upon making comic strip features. I keep a journal of possible gags for each strip and have many other finished strips which I can send upon your request. ------------------ I am still going to make some more cartoons in the meantime, however I also have to do allot of paintings and artwork for my college portfolio. I’d definitely pick Keep Hope Alive by The Crystal Method. The beginning of the song is perfect for the lift hill. I can only imagine how awesome that would be while riding.
