Great PTR!
I'm surprised they still have Lauchpad out there! I haven't seen Ducktales on TV for a long time. Now I've got the show's theme stuck in my head...
There's a small chance I might be going by Cypress Gardens over the next month or two, so if I do, I will pick you up a map and drool all over it before I send it to you.
Also, if you're going to Universal, become a AAA or CAA member if you're not already. You can get food and merchandise discounts (I think it's 10%) if you flash your AAA/CAA card. If you flash anything else, you might get arrested. Also, you can get some pretty decent AAA discounts with the onsite hotels at Universal and Disney. Heck, a lot of off-site properties have AAA discounts too!
I've said it once and I'll say it again...
I love living in Florida because...
1.) No snow
2.) No state sales tax
3.) You can ride roller coasters in winter
Besides, I can laugh at my friends up north when they're knee deep in snow and I'm enjoying 80 degree weather!
You can also move to SoCal...
There will probably not be a B&M at Disney. The Rock N Roller Coaster was supposed to be a B&M. Walt Disney World approached B&M to create the Rock N Roller Coaster. B&M has a unique process to create coasters. The park gives them the land specs and they design a coaster for the land. Disney said that they didn’t work that way and wanted a greater part in designing the coaster. B&M said that they didn’t work that way and walked away from the project. Only B&M has enough clout in the coaster business to do that!
Three reasons why I love living in Florida...
1.) No state sales tax
2.) No snow
3.) You can ride coasters in the winter!
Great PTR! BGA will probably be pretty quiet unless it's a weekend or until Turkey Day weekend hits.
Next, it should be "Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Cypress Gardens Fanboys!"
Personally, I think Cypress Gardens is OK, but if they really want to compete with the big boys, they need to install other stuff rather than off-the-shelf rides.
I rode the Screamin' Swing at Thorpe Park and it was pretty neat, more like an extreme pirate ship. There's no way I would pay extra if it was an upcharge attraction, though.
I had a Dreamcast and had a stack of games for it. I remember playing Crazy Taxi, Dynamite Cop, House of the Dead 2, and some shooters I can't recall the name. I hadn't played with it for over a year, but when I wanted to play the DC again, it died and it was a very sad day. I ended up selling the DC games on eBay.
