Expedition Geforce cable snaps...

Intamin SHOULD make a toaster. It could pop your toast out higher and faster than any other toaster on the planet. -
Expedition Geforce cable snaps...

Will be interesting to see whats broken here, whether its another snapped cable, or maybe a bolt or whatever that holds the cable to the catch car. -

Haha. 9/20. As you might imagine I'm not the biggest geek going, I got most of the lesser known USA based ones wrong. -

Nice photos, thanks for posting =] -
Looking at the video again, do you think there's a chance that the cable did actually cut his leg? They both look down and panic. I assumed he had been injured, but never really considered it could have been the cable smashing through the car. Edit: I just saw the press release (or what the YT video says is) saying the cable did actually come into contact with the kid.

I'm ALWAYS excited for Friday. Have you ever tried typing with your eyes closed?

Mine is also an awesome donkey. I took the photo myself at a donkey sanctuary, shortly before one of them bit me.

I do really like the way the forum is run, it's kept clean, I don't have to decipher loads of txt spk etc and when things get a bit out of hand it's normally dealt with pretty fast and/or removed. I'd give people some leniency since dealing with the same crap over and over again would get on anyones nerves. I know I've basically written whats been said before but I just wanted to agree. I guess it's kind of what Simon Cowell feels like and why he spends half his time telling people that can't sing 'If you had lived 2,000 years ago and sung like that, I think they would have stoned you.' in a rude manner as opposed to being polite.

^^ I think some people will avoid it, since people worry in general if coasters are safe, so if one has been involved in what could've been quite a nasty accident, it'll put people off. Especially if they haven't seen the video and have just heard from their friends that 'some kid got his face smashed off' or something like that. Its actually the first time I've breifly considered NOT riding in the front (I've never bothered anyway) of one of these just incase it happens again. I didn't feel that way after the first cable went (Dragster?), but twice is enough to make me think. I'd probably still do it anyway if I really wanted to. I know theres probably just as much chance of being in a plane crash etc, but then I don't have to ride a rocket coaster in the front seats to get anywhere

Weirdest Things The 'GP' Have Said

^^Haha. I don't get how people don't understand the most basic concepts of how they stay on the track and can't just come off. -
These kids need to learn to wait. Where I understand they may have ADHD, as they get older, noone is going to let them jump the line for anything else. The bit that annoyed me is where it says 'They have a 30% maturity lag, and are emotionally younger than their peers'. BIG DEAL. Oddly enough, when I was 10, I had the same ability to wait in line as when I was 20. So waiting seriously has nothing to do with the fact they are 'emotionally younger' than their peers. It's pointless teaching kids stuff which doesn't apply in the big wide world. They should be made to wait like everyone else.

I think thats the best non-park PTR I have seen, I'm still laughing now. My personal favourites were the Vag and Kok pics. Theres something so funny about foreign words that mean something else. I think that makes me immature, but what the hell.

I'm not sure if criminal charges would be brought or not. It wouldn't surprise me if they were, since this was an entirely preventable accident, which essentially seems to have been caused by an employee dispatching a train when he/she shouldn't have. And after this it wouldn't surprise me either if some control system has to be retrofitted to the ride to stop this happening again.

^I agree pretty much. It is just the sense of humour coming out, and tbh its nice to see the park do this without fear of someone worrying about offending someone over the slightest little thing, and showing they can have a joke. I'm pretty sure the teenagers that the park is aimed at would think it's funny and possibly cool.
