  1. Maybe this will call for a re-structure of organization and come out to be a good thing. Personally, my last visit to the park was anything but nice. The staff wasn't at their peek and the grounds seemed a bit trashy. Maybe a whole new organizational structuring might do the place some good, and could be the start of a newer and better Indiana Beach. Of course, I'm just trying to be optimistic here.
  2. Awesome pictures, and a great Trip Report! Thanks so much for sharing!!!!
  3. These kinds of fairs, you wish would stay open all year round.
  4. While I agree that it's a concrete jungle, I will say, I've seen A LOT worse. And I wouldn't say it had no soul. Granted, it's very Cedar Fair, but there are sections that have some character to them.
  5. Their log flume is definitely in my top 3 favorite log flumes ever. That drop doesn't look like much, but man does it pack a punch! SO cute. Keep up the great TR!
  6. Manly terms for "cute" parks... It was "wicked cool", "pretty ballar", "sick", "Tight"........ Just a few that come to mind. Do I pretend to be straight and manly pretty well? Nice PTR Chris!
  7. This looks very awesome, and a welcomed surprise! I do, however, have this irrational fear of it valleying more than a couple of occasions after the backwards launch. Also, I can see this having a lot of downtime.
  8. We also had a kiddie roll back on our tour through Las Vegas in 09. But that in NO way came close to this one. You could really smell the engine burning. It reminded me of that kid's book with the train... "I think I can, I think I can.."
  9. I'm surprised it came out that well. Apparently I become a better photographer while intoxicated.
  10. That physically hurt me. It really did. Great PTR so far. Keep it up!
  11. This was a great update. True Story. Edit: Yes, she was awesome. She's a nominee for best ride opp of the trip. I want her to be my new BFF.
  12. ^I just get embarassed by my back sweat every time I see it. That ride made me nervous!
  13. Maybe your K-o-D has something to do with your visiting the location of fallen celebrities. Maybe next you can stay in the hotel room where Anna Nichole Smith died. It's just up the road from the fallen Dania Beach Hurricane.
  14. Honestly, Dania Beach in itself if a horrible location. It's more of a locals place than a tourist destination. I'm not suprised that their attendance was so low. The only thing it had going for them is the fact that the coaster was RIGHT off the interstate in between Miami and Ft. Lauderdale. I always used it as a landmark more than I rode it. I'm so happy to hear it's being saved. What do you think the chances are of it getting new trains too?
  15. The way I see it, the majority of the rides proposed were clones anyway. Basically, we're not losing much here.
  16. This will be my first Euro-Fighter, and I'm very excited about this. Looks great!
  17. ^ Yeah, this will be now be a cool area to walk through at night. I love it when coasters fly over and under walkway areas. Makes the park experience that much more interactive. I always think of RCT when you see the people stop and take pictures. Teehee.
  18. I've seen a lot more ghetto family fun centers, but this might be one of the most ghetto with an actual decent coaster with it. But in all honesty, it's not THAT bad.
  19. I'm still oggled at how most of the characters in this are musically oriented. Do you think this will have something to do with the coaster? On board speakers? Ride name? Thoughts?
  20. I love how the Test Dummies kinda look like Ninjas!
  21. I just want this to either happen, or fail. I'm tired of this news repetitive news.
