  1. Everyone! EMAIL DAN RIGHT NOW!!! "I hear you had sex with Jon Lovitz!" mrt0ad13@aol.com
  2. ^ Sorry, needs to be a TPR member
  3. ^ My "Goal" (and I say that loosely because things are crazy right now) is to have Raw 4 out on Nov 1, CE 13 on Nov 15th, and then something "brand new" out on Dec 1. We'll see if that actually happens or not though! --Robb
  4. ^ Totally insane. Let's just hope that by some miracle it makes it back to life.
  5. Along with what Ginzo said I would think that the UK trip would be a more "complete" set of parks. Meaning that we're not really leaving anything major out of the UK trip. This Europe trip, however, kind of assumes you've been to mainland Europe before and have hit some of the majors that we'll be skipping by this time around (Heide Park, Movie Park, Toverland, etc, etc) and is more geared for those people who have "Been to many Europe parks before, but want to hit a few new ones or the parks that have added something major in the last year or two." If you look at the list of parks almost all of them are either parks that a TPR tour hasn't gone to before (Italy) or repeat parks that got/will get something new either in 2009 or 2010. We *WILL* be doing a repeat of our 2008 Mainland Europe tour, which hit ALL the major parks at some point in the next few years. --Robb
  6. Yup, and now that HHN is at the Studios, Mummy, MiB, and Simpsons are open. Well, looks like your chances to ride it are slim and BWAHAHAHAHAHA!!!! Seriously, like Elissa, Tyler and everyone else has said, why are you expecting all the RIDES to be open during HALLOWEEN HORROR NIGHTS? Especially the new, sort of "problematic" ride? Get a dose of reality, people. Thank you! --Robb "Will be totally happy with the event as is..." Alvey
  7. Arthur Levine, a friend of TPR and About.com's Guide to Theme Parks post a great article with Six Flags' Mark Shapiro here: http://themeparks.about.com/b/2009/09/29/six-flags-mark-shapiro-ceo-interview.htm Topics discussed: - Texas Giant 2011 Rehab - Bankruptcy Restructuring - 2009 Performance - 2010 Capital Plans - 50th Anniversary - and lots of other stuff. It's a good read - check it out! --Robb
  8. ^ Thanks Brent! We've actually been using Aquabats for a while now. I think I first used "Pizza Day" in Volume 7 and they've appeared at least 2 or 3 times since then. Glad you liked the video! --Robb "Fan of both Aqua and Aquabats!" Alvey
  9. Hey everyone! We have just posted another segment from Coaser Expedition Volume 12! This DVD is available at the TPR Store: http://www.themeparkreview.com/store/ Let me just take a moment to remind everyone about something. Theme Park Review runs completely ad free, no pop-ups, no banners, and as we keep adding new features to the site the server fees keep growing! Please remember that making a purchase from the TPR Store helps keep this site running ad free! (And we would like to keep it that way!) TPR DVDs are still only $10 each and our T-Shirts are $8. Please help support Theme Park Review! The last thing we ever want on this site are pop-up ads! And now...EVERLAND! It's all it's TPR glory! This video covers a 12 month stretch of time at Everland where we visited the park both while T Express was under construction and then again to ride! (And OMFG what a ride it was!) You'll see tons of coaster footage and all the TPR antics you'd expect from a Coaster Expedition DVD! Enjoy! [coastertube]http://www.themeparkreview.com/coastertube/play.php?vid=everland_18w1[/coastertube] From "Coaster Expedition Volume 12" - This 2-Disc DVD features parks and roller coasters from all over Asia (China, Japan, S. Theme Park Review thanks you for your support! --Robb Alvey www.themeparkreview.com
  10. ^ Because he's cooler than the rest of us! Didn't you know? If you have "OMFG secret coaster stuff" that automatically makes you so cool...and then telling other poeple that you have "OMFG secret coaster stuff" gets you the chick launching machine in your bedroom. --Robb

  13. Anyone else think it's kind of weird that Jesse Eisenberg is one of the leads in another amusement park themed movie this year? He's one of the main actors in Zombieland. --Robb
  14. Did anyone here take some off-ride footage of Prowler this season? I'm looking for a few off-ride clips shot on either a MiniDV camera or an HD camera. Video from a digital camera in "movie mode" won't work. Please let me know if you have anything! Thank you. --Robb
  15. And they used more comfortable L-shaped bars instead of those very tight fitting U-bars on the older Gerstlauer trains. --Robb

  21. Uh, oh... Beware of Mr. "I know something you don't know..."
  22. ^ Not at all. We should have more than plenty of time to get everything done. That's actually why the extra day was added so that we wouldn't have to eat up time at parks rushing around. --Robb "Good question!" Alvey
  23. And shorter drives on the NE Tour. Just take a quick look at a map of where we're going on the Intimidator tour and you'll figure out that there we are covering a LOT of mileage in that time. --Robb
