I mean, the ride RIGHT NOW still has a 40 minute wait mid-week on a Tuesday during a less busy period for the resort 40 minutes before park closing: And that's not because there isn't anything to do at that park, it's because the ride is EXTREMELY POPULAR and it always has been for the last ten years that it's been open. I just don't understand the Idiocracy of complaining that the park went out of their way to increase capacity on an attraction. Why is this something to complain about??!?! "Hey, we are going to do something to reduce the wait time on one of our most popular attractions!" "Oh, no, don't do that! What a dumb idea! I want to wait in longer lines!" Seriously who thinks like this?!??

I actually enjoyed Robin Hood. It was a decent out and back coaster, getting a little rough in it's older days, but I've been on far worse. I have no doubt though that an RMC make-over will turn this into an average ride that not many people talked about to one fo the top coasters in Europe! Can't wait! -

No, don't apologize. The other post was a garbage post with zero information by someone too lazy to actually post good content. I had to go in and fix it. FYI - If you're not going to bother to take the time to contribute good posts to TPR, don't contribute anything. Posting "just a link" to an announcement will get you temp banned from our forums for being an idiot in the future. Thank you Jordy for taking the time to post this. -
Wow, thanks for your highly positive (sarcasm), and also totally incorrect opinion (this only works with a US crowd) on this subject. You know that you don't HAVE to hear yourself speak, right? And the rest of us will go about our day just fine? How can a opinion be incorrect? It is just a my personal opinion that you do not have to agree with, which is fine. Not here to ruin anybodies day, but I think it should be ok to have a opinion on a message board, even if goes against the administrors opinion. And I speak a lot and hear myself too which is usually just fine. Your "opinion:" Is wrong. Factually wrong.

Today we got a special preview of "Star Wars Day at Sea" on the Disney Fantasy. Since this was a media event, everything was compressed down into a few hours, but the entire event looks FANTASTIC! We got to meet some of the characters, see a sample of the shows, check out the Star Wars area in the Oceaneer Club, try some of the food offerings for the event, and a walk around the ship taking it all in! Disney Cruise Line most certainly does things at a "higher end" than other cruise lines. For Disney fans and especially in this case Star Wars fans that like the "Deluxe" accommodations of Walt Disney World, a week on the Disney Fantasy, or any of their other ships for that matter would be right up your alley! Let's take a look at some highlights from the event and for more details about cruises, special themed "days at sea" or other booking information, check out their website: https://disneycruise.disney.go.com/ Here's our re-cap highlights video: Good morning from the Disney Fantasty for a preview of Star Wars Day at Sea! Kristen has her credentials and she’s ready for Star Wars Day at Sea! Storm Troopers have infiltrated the terminal building looking for Rebel Spies! Yay! We are official! We have our Star Wars name tags! I think Kristen has gotten herself into a bit of trouble! Walking through those Mickey ears is one of the most magical vacation experiences you can have! Minnie Mouse, the ships mascot greets us on board! I just love the little Disney attention to details on these ships like the Mickey hand on the elevator numbers. The central area and the hallways on this ship are just gorgeous! We are not even on the ship five minutes and already trouble is starting to go down! Kristen trained to be a Jedi against Kylo Ren! Yeah, sorry Kylo Ren, Kristen isn’t having any of your attitude! Yay! She got to meet C-3PO! Things didn’t go well at first with Kristen meeting Vader... ...but she told him she’s joining the Empire so now they are BFFs! CHEWIE!!! DO NOT EAT JANICE!!! She is not a BBQ Porg!!! The ship uses the Magic Band technology for the kids to enter and exit the Oceaneer Club. Look who is hanging out with kids in the Oceaneer Club! These Star Wars simulator games they had in the Oceaneer Club were amazing! Fantastic resolution and the games were super fun! The Oceaneer Club staff will assist you in building a droid! While it may be “Star Wars Day” the Marvel stuff on the ship is super cool also! Kids can also hang out with Pixar characters, princesses, and fairies in the Oceaneer Club! Here’s a look at some of the merchandise only available during Star Wars Day at Sea. Lunch today is at Animator’s Palate! It’s all decked out for Star Wars Day At Sea. Here is our lunch menu... It’s made out of people... Sand People!!! For our entrees we chose the Pork Tenderloins.. Mushroom Katsu Curry... ...and the Crisp Chicken. All fantastic! Dessert was OMG fantastic!!! We had an amazing time during the preview of Star Wars Day At Sea! All your favorite Star Wars characters are here so you should be, too!

I will answer these briefly and probably dishonestly... 1. What is the best park visit you had in 2017? Tokyo DisneySea 2. Have you ever traveled to a park with a specific ride in mind only for it to be closed all day? Yes. Formula Rossa 3. GCI or Gravity Group? Pick one. Ape Family Vacation WDW Jan 2018
robbalvey replied to Ape's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
We absolutely LOVE this resort! In fact, this report makes me think we should go do a walk around there tonight as it's been a while since I've taken a lap around the property. I agree that Magical Express can take a while, but again, as an included service in the package it's probably still a bit easier than renting a car and having to figure out Orlando which can be a little confusing if you've never been. Honestly, a 30-40 minute wait doesn't sound that bad! We've waited at least an hour before for the Disneyland Paris version of the service... And yeah, the resorts are fantastic when you can take them at your own pace, but when everyone is hunkered down due to weather...well, it is what it is. I'm sure the cast members were still hustling as fast as they could and even though sometimes take a while, I'm usually impressed with how many people they have to churn through. Bummed we missed you this trip! You'll have to make another visit out here! -
Yep, this is my preference. The only caveats to doing the night time wait in line are: - Don't do it on an EMH night. It doesn't work because there are EMH people waiting to ride and often times they will start by putting them in the FastPass queue while the standby line of day guests clears out. - Just remember that if this is your only day at DAK and you wait until the very end of the night and the ride breaks (which doesn't actually happen very often) then that was your only chance to ride. I've actually never heard of someone not getting on the ride due to it breaking down, but I just wanted to throw that out there. Usually my average wait at the end of the night (and I mean END of the night getting in line at like :58 whatever hour the park is closing) is about 50 minutes. If you get in the line at :30, you're just going to stand there for 30 minutes until the park closes as they are trying to get in as many FP+ people as they can to clear that line. So you might as well go grab a beer and get in line right at :58!

Knoebel's video? Yeah, the new one from a couple days ago: [youtu_be] [/youtu_be] You meet up with the world's biggest Knoebels fans, then just happen to post an awesome video about Knoebels? This cannot be mere coincidence. Oh! Lol I actually had no idea they were the world's biggest Knoebels fans! I thought that was us! Looks like we'll need to fight over that title...

Most people I know have Gold and they do just fine with that. I only have Platinum because I do cover the parks during the Christmas season. But really, I think gold is perfectly fine for most locals.
