  1. More people need to understand why this is funny... [twitter] [/twitter]
  2. I will tell you that this is one of the reasons the parks love TPR! No matter what awful crap we get on our socials the parks always seem to get it worse, but we will at least tell people to go straight to hell where the parks really cannot do that on their pages. I can't tell you how many times a park will tell me "Robb, we love your socials. You say the things we are all thinking but aren't allowed to post!" And for that we will continue to keep doing what we do!
  3. Our favorite time of the year at Epcot... Food & Wine Festival... is BACK August 30th - November 2nd and we can't wait! In fact, Walt Disney World knew we couldn't wait so they invited us out for a preview of some of the new offerings coming to the event this year! Check out some of the photos (especially the food... OMG! THE. FOOD!!!) and videos from this fun sneak peek event! [fbvideonew] [/fbvideonew] Good morning from Walt Disney World Epcot! We are here for a preview of this year’s Food & Wine Festival! How many of you are fans of this event? We arrived at the event venue and were immediately given drinks... And food! And dessert!!! This is going to be a great event! Here is a sample of theee beers you can get at the “Light Lab” from local Florida brewers! Here's the list of the drinks from Light Lab. Great to see the park featuring local breweries! Next up trying something new from "Flavors of Fire!" I love at these events watching them prepare the dishes right in front of you! This is the Chimichurri Skirt Steak and it has a LOT of flavor! Delicious!!! Dessert anyone? This is the Chocolate Picante, Bourbon Cheesecake, Pancake Milkshake, and Baileys! Yum! Here comes lots of food pictures! Get hungry!!! The above 8 items are all "new" this year! I suggest trying them all! New Epcot Food & Wine Minnie Ears! What do you think? Do you love them? Here's a look at some of the new merchandise for this year's event. I always love the trash can salt & pepper shakers! Nice to see Chef Mickey make a return to some of the merchandise! (Don't worry there is still plenty of Remy and Figment merch, too!) Speaking of Remy... look who showed up to the preview event! 2018's Epcot Food & Wine Festival starts August 30th and we cannot say enough how much we love and recommend this event! On a side note, we also spent some time at Epcot hanging out the following day... Good morning AGAIN from Epcot! Kristen started school today so it’s time to start our “drop the child off at school and run to Epcot for lunch” visits! Our favorite time of year! Our first food stop today will be in China... ...for some Potstickers! (Bet you didn't see that one coming!) Thoughts on the iridescent Minnie ears? Love? Hate? Tell us! Our next stop on our “dropped the kid off at school and came to Epcot for lunch” tour is Italy! Some of our all-time favorite restaurants at #WaltDisneyWorld are in Italy ... Tutto Italia - for some fantastic sit-down Italian Food! Tutto Gusto - aka the "Wine Bar" where you can get some amazing drinks, cheeses, and small plate entrees. And of course Via Napoli - One of my top favorite restaurants at Walt Disney World and one of my all-time favorite pizzas! Today's choice in Italy is Tutto Gusto! It’s the “wine bar” in between Via Napoli and Tutto Italia! The cheese in here is amazing! As are the pasta dishes! And the atmosphere is some of our favorite! Relaxing and cool! We love it! Burrata Ravioli and Meatballs Parmesan! So much love on these two plates! The skyline of Epcot is changing with Guardians of the Galaxy! I love this change and can’t wait for this new attraction to open! If you're looking for dessert, the ice cream shop or the bakery in France is the place to be! For those of you wondering... yes there is still plenty of the “retro” #Epcot merchandise still available! Food & Wine booths are all up around World Showcase! The festival starts August 30th! We can’t wait! Time to go pick up the child from school thus ending our “parents escape” visit to Epcot! Was a great afternoon! We will be back very soon! Be sure to comment below!
  4. There will have been a total of FOUR B&M Dive Coasters built in North America between 2004 - 2019. (16 seasons) I'm not sure you can really call that a trend. In comparison, there were 18 B&M inverts built in North America within that same time frame. I don't think this is a good comparison.
  5. No... they definitely won't be adding the brand new coaster to Fastlane Plus. Why would they ever do such a thing? Can tell if you're being sarcastic or not but if you're not why wouldn't they include it? They did for Behemoth and Leviathan. It'll help sell more of those expensive tickets. This is you:
  6. OMG. If you're going to post about the stupid joke at least spell it correctly!!!
  7. No... they definitely won't be adding the brand new coaster to Fastlane Plus. Why would they ever do such a thing?
  8. So a few things to note.... - I really like the layout of this ride. As a sucker for vertical loops, and as someone who in every single Dive Machine coaster I ever built in RCT I always put a vertical loop in, it's great to finally see one with a vertical loop. - I think the name is just fine. IMO, it's the Canadian version of Gold Striker, whatever that means! - I'm impressed I only had to ban four people this morning for not being able to control themselves long enough to talk about the new ride until one of our moderators was able to post about it. Well done, TPR, most of you guys were able to follow simple instructions. I'm impressed! - Let me explain further for those who felt it was "unfair" that we banned people for either leaking the information or couldn't wait for one of the mods to post about it: No one scores any bonus point for being the "first" to talk about a new ride, post about a new ride, or have the information about a new ride. Especially if that information is LEAKED and it comes before the park has a chance to make their official announcement. It's disrespectful to the park and steals their thunder away. I feel like for most people, they just want to be "first" to post about it because it somehow makes them feel better about themselves probably due to some insecurity or entitlement issues. It doesn't. The park has put forth a lot of time, effort, and money into an official announcement, and everyone should respect that. If you had a friend who was announcing if their baby was a boy or a girl, but they told you in private prior to their announcement, would you go to all your friends and tell them taking away their little surprise? No. And if you did you'd be a huge asshole. And that's how I view people who leak or post early about park announcements. And why do we prefer one of our mods to make the announcement on our forums? Because people don't know how to make proper announcement posts and usually post pure garbage, like simply a link and that's it, and we end up having to delete that post anyway. It really comes down to this: If you cannot respect our rules, no matter how insane you think they may be, don't post here. Anyway, to the rest of you, we thank you for your patience and understanding. It really is greatly appreciated.
  9. Standard issue Vekoma SLC bars. I think all of them that opened had these until they started replacing the OTSR restraints with the vests.
  10. Here's a video of the best inverted roller coaster at Six Flags America:
  11. Wow...that's crazy. I wonder if its because it's in another country, and they have different standards for amusement rides? The only 2 coasters at Canada’s Wonderland with 54” requirement are Behemoth and Leviathan, both have B&M clamshell restraints. I believe every B&M in North America with clamshells has a 54” requirement.
  12. No, he was just pregnant before. (Seriously, it's sort of not cool to ask about someone's weight...)
  13. Why don't you call Breakers and ask?
  14. Well, to be honest, I didn't actually copy them because I wasn't aware they existed (and still have not actually gone to search for them) until I've read this thread! lol I don't mean for this to sound obnoxious, but I rarely watch roller coaster videos that aren't ours on YouTube. I just have no interest...
  15. Man that's a bummer about the coaster. I saw on your Twitter that it was closed and I was bummed for you then and now I'm bummed once again. Sounds like you guys had a great day though and I'm guessing if it's that important to you, you'll be back!
  16. Let's get.... WEIRD!!! (you guys will have to tell us if you like compilation videos like this...)
  17. See, this is really good information to know. I find that so many times people will ask for advice but not tell anyone what they like so many times the advice given and the person asking don't match up. Remember, I am Disney > Roller Coasters. I would seriously rather ride Big Thunder Mountain or Pooh's Hunny Hunt any day over most of the roller coasters on this planet. So Knoebels is a perfect park for me. If you're someone who isn't into casual rides, park atmosphere or moderate thrills, honestly, Knoebels may not be a good fit for you. I agree with Bill and think that Knoebels is the best "amusement" park on the planet, and there is not a Six Flags or Cedar Fair park I'd rather be at over a day at Knoebels, but that's just how I prefer things.
  18. I don't think you'll need two days or even a day and a half at Hershey. If you were to spend bonus time at any park, I would do it at Knoebels. We just spent a full 15 hour day at Knoebels and I walked away thinking that there were one or two things I could have done or could have done a second time. At Hershey, I was pretty much done after about 3-4 hours. But then again, we also had the front of the line pass at Hershey and we didn't do the water park. We did do Chocolate World, though.
  19. This is a ZTE Smartphone- Capable of running Instagram, and all the stuff the new phones can (Considering its maybe about 2 years old?), but the camera I don't think was the major focus on this phone. I was shocked of the quality of the camera, really disappointing but if it ain't broke, don't fix it considering the screen is extremely cracked- it still works somehow, a bit slow but I can't complain. That should take better photos. You might actually want to try wiping off the lens every once in a while. It looks like you may have a smudge or two which is causing your pictures to be horribly filtered.
  20. I did the best I could with cleaning up some of your larger sized photos, but man, what kind of phone do you have? Even my current phone is 3 years old and it takes fantastic pictures! Were these from like a flip phone cira 2007???
  21. I agree with this. But then that's why there should also be optional lockers. Giving your guests a CHOICE is the best possible solution! Making demands of them is not. "You are not allowed to bring your phone under any circumstance on this ride. You can either leave it in the bin at your own risk or you can purchase a locker." That is a solution that I am 110% totally on board with!
  22. Much cheaper to pay an additional staff member than additional liability insurance, medical bills, lawyers, etc, not to mention any PR damage control if any incident did occur.
