Hey, this s my first trip report, so go easy on me. I just came home from an awesome day at Legoland with my friend Rikke, and we had loads of fun. The park was 'okay' crowded, with 30 minutes for the major rides, while the smaller ones was a walk on I will include some fotos of the new 2007 attraction, Atlantis, a bunch of pictures of the 2006 attraction, Vikings River Splash, and alot of the whole park, overall. So, enjoy! Welcome to Legoland Billund! Finally our bus came. only 20 kilomitres to go! Now the busdriver was really stupid, even though he hold at this space for 20 minutes, he wouldn't let us in until 1 minute before the departure. So we arrived at Legoland, 5 minutes before the opening, and there was an normal crowd at the gates. Actually, you can see the gates opening up to the park. The national music-something of Denmark, in a blocky version. Actually, in this entrance, there used to be just ticket booths, but now it is full of turnstyles. Stupid sneaking-under-ticket-booth 13 year old kids! We head straight over to the back of the park, where the best and most intresting rides is. First, was Vikings River Splash, their 2007 Intamin River Rafting. Sadly, it was (of course) broken. So we head over to Xtreme Racers, the Mack model that shows up at every Legoland park. This one has a racing/adventure theme to it. Still, the theming is hard to catch. Only good thing about this coaster, is the drop. The rest is just non-banked turns, braked after every 180 degree turn it makes. But it still fits Legoland very well. Legoland Billund is very streched out. Not very 'high' but very, very 'width'. So these are the crows at Xtreme Racers, which is situated pretty far from the entrance. So we went to Adventure Racers, these funky boats that spin and spin. In the middle of the queue, we saw this very bizzare looking creature. (Sorry for the blur, was walking while taking the picture.) The Adventure Racers, plus a pretty much overview of the Adventure area. Off to the newest area, Lego City, we went. And what is that lurking around up there? It sure looks mysterious.. AND I will continiue tommorrow... I am so tired after today, my feet are like killing me. Hope you enjoyed so far.

Accelerator coaster for Bakken
StyleStorm replied to raskal's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
Well, it did have the same heigh as Kanonen at Liseberg, so if it was a clone that was going to be build, I can't see the problem in the size, really. -

Fårup Sommerland will add an expansion for the 2008 season, for the cost of 25 million kroner, approx. 5 million $, and rumors say they will build a roller coaster, or at least 'big'. Djurs Sommerland is NOT confirmirmed with a roller coaster, and there is not said how many money they will spend on the next season. Only known fact is that they may build to a heigh of 40 metres, on their parking lot (there will be constructed a new parking lot for the 2008 season). Bakkens Roller Coaster type is NOT confirmed, only that it may be named 'Accelerator Coaster'. They may build to the heigh of 24 metres, the same heigh as Kanonen at Liseberg which is around 150 kilomitres away. Legoland will build a huge resort at the price of 2,5 bill. kroner. Nothing else is know yet. -

What will Bonbon Land's next ride look like, is a good one. That would be a really fun contest. -

Too bad about the brakes on the last hill. I was looking forward to a fast heix in the end.. From those pictures i unfortuantly get a little disapointed with Desert Race's theming. The station looks good, but that helicopter? What is it doing there? They could at least painted it military colors, that would suit the overall theme much better. And that red building at the end. I really hope they tear it down, or build some sort of desert theme on the walls of it, so you won't be able to see the red walls. I agree with above, the blue cars it better looking. -
New Gerstlauer Spinner- Update
StyleStorm replied to Calaway Park's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
See this as the futue of Gerstlauer Spinners. It actually has tri-track of what i can see, wich is very not-normal for a spinner, it has a downwards brakerun, and mutiple lift hills. This can be a great example for other future Gerstlauer spinners. I think this ride - even though it may look a bit tame - is intresting. -
Six Flags, you and your B&M coasters! I really love what you have done so far. The colorfull scenery, along with the nice placement of trees. I really like those ticket booths, they're so colorfull and so detailed! For the B&M coaster, i would guess a hyper, but I ain't sure. I guess i need more pictures : ) A piece of advice would to sink your support footers, just a little bit. I believe it would look better. Where did you get the red floor on the entrance plaza? Thanks, Keep it going, I am really looking forward to the next update.

New TPR Video! Power Park, Finland!
StyleStorm replied to robbalvey's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
Actually, in my country, that 'green monster' is named a 'Kaj Kage', translated to 'Kaj Cake'. It's based on this danish children TV character, named Kaj. http://netbutik.dr.dk/ecommerce-pictures/get-picture?picture%5fid=1389 -
I'm actually kinda afraid of what will happen, if the next President of United States doesn't want the troups in Iraq. I'm just afraid, if the really can make it on their own. My country, Denmark, will be taking out their troups from Iraq at August. Who's next?

First for the blue coaster, don't name it Triton. A guy already named one, also an Atlantis themed coaster, over at Atari Community. Anyways, i like the overall tropical feeling. It looks quite good, nice use of the Leftovers set. I would suggest you put some more vegetation in between the rocks to get even more tropical feeling, and perhaps a waterfall or something like that. Those aren't that hard to make with the new particle set. Good luck on this, looks great. And from your danish friend: Ser godt ud, kom lige i tanke om jeg faktisk lovede dig at lave den bruger på Atari, skal nok få gjordt det meget snart. Keep it up

Danish trip advice !
StyleStorm replied to msep003's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
Well, lets say you arrive at CPH Friday: Tivoli Gardens, we all know that park, it's awesome, and it is a must if you're in Denmark. Have a B&M Floorless. Saturday: Legoland Billund, one of the best themed parks in Denmark. Getting a new SeaLife aquarium for 2007, has alot of rides that other Legoland parks don't have seing as this is the leading park. Sunday: Fårup Sommerland or Djurs Sommerland, depending of how much you will drive. Djurs Sommerland is a great park, having a Gerstlauer Bobsled coaster, Huss Topple Tower, much more, great theming and the biggest outdoor waterpark in Denmark. Fårup, an S&S Wooden coaster, big outdoor park, nice atmosphere and so on Monday: Bonbon Land, seing as i assume you are leaving from CPH. Great park, just look at the trip reports on this site. Haves a Gerstlauer Eurofighter, and new for 2007 is a Gerstlauer Spinning Coaster. On the map, it shows where the parks are. Hope it help, Style. -
Heide Park Discussion Thread
StyleStorm replied to Sebbe's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
As much as i know, it is a clone of Rita. But this coaster does not have a Corkscrew coaster to avoid, so the brakes won't be beside the station on the airtime hill, like they are on Rita, but instead just before the station. So i guess that means that it will have an extra airtime hill and take the last helix faster than Rita does. -
Bon-Bon Land confirms Han Katten for 2007
StyleStorm replied to Tobias94's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
As much as i know, it is a Bobsled Design added with Gerstlauer Spinning Cars. And to one of the guys above, Kater doesn't mean anything in danish.
