My top 10 list rarely changes. Millennium Force has always been my #1 steel but overall Boulderdash is now #1. I separate the woodies from the steel & only my woodies keep bouncing around because I'm more of a woodie fan than a steel fan. Phoenix used to be #1 now it is #3. Then it was El Toro for #1 & now that is #2. My steel coasters aren't going to change unless I ride something incredible. Only Behemoth snuck its way into my top now ranked #2. In 07 Maverick kicked Nitro out of #5. My top 10 list changes sometimes but it depends on how good the coaster is & how many times I ride a particular ride.

I went with TPR on the Behemoth/Ravine Flyer II trip. My suggestion is do Behemoth first. I is an AMAZING ride with lots of AIRTIME The line was 5 hours long by midday so ride it right away. That was in August so I don't no how the crowds are the rest of the year. I do no that the park was open from 10 a.m.-10 p.m. July & August. All the other lines moved pretty quick. Nothing except Behemoth impressed me. Vortex was second best. Besides painful & crappy woodies, Vekomas, & old Arrows the park really wasn't that great but Behemoth is well worth the trip. Here is the video from that day & you can see how long Behemoth's line got!

If they close and bulldoze the place, it sure won't be like anything we've seen before at the park. In all seriousness, it's probably a new coaster being brought over from Hard Rock Park or something. Interesting thought. It would be cool if SFA was the first park to buy a HRP coaster. If they did buy a HRP coaster it would probably be Eagles since it is not to big or small. They do have land for Led Zeppelin as well. They did say BIG announcement & if it is a HRP coaster hopefully it will be Led Zeppelin. We'll have wait & find out I guess.

I watched the show today & I enjoyed the program. However all they really showed was the building of Led Zeppelin & how much of a problem Maximum-RPM was. They did not even mention Eagles: Life in the Fast Lane. The building of the guitar I thought was cool. I was hoping for them to say HRP closed do to bankrupt & why. I feel bad for HRP but at least I got the 5 credits.

Great TR! I'll be in Orlando a couple of times in 09 & might stop off at Gator Land. I also think it is weird to serve gators at gator land -
PTR: Brent's TR's - 2009 TPR Scandinavia Tour
Speeddeamon128 replied to downunder's topic in Photo Trip Report Archive
Nice update Brent! Yeah my mom picked up my laundry at a locker that I left it in -
Yes I think the DVDs are as up to date as possible & very entertaining to watch & I'm looking forward to the next releases. I was just pointing out that a book would be pointless & a magazine would be a better idea. They are both pointless since most of us are on the website everyday & are always up to date in the amusement industry. No to mention I would just look at pictures instead of actually reading like I do with every book However if there ever was a TPR Magazine (which I doubt) I would definitely subscribe!

I think a TPR magazine would be an awesome idea & much easier to do than a book. They can have a section for Photo TR of the month, coaster of the month, what is hot on TPRTV or something invlolved with the site. It would take forever to make a book like that & I don't think the Alveys have the time with trip planning & DVDs.

I've seen both Elissa & Robb on Thrills Chills & Spills a few years back. I think they were riding Ghost Rider at Knotts. -

Great pics Robb! The solution for painful Vekoma U.S. rides has been solved. Plush & carpet them -
Photo TR: FireWhip (Brazil) – Pre-Opening
Speeddeamon128 replied to Marcio's topic in Photo Trip Report Archive
Great TR & pics! I didn't realize that Firewhip had awesome paint & theming. Did it have the new Vekoma SLC trains like Morey's? Beto Carrero World looks like a nice themed park & would love to visit it someday. -
Worst Coaster Experience
Speeddeamon128 replied to airforcekid's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
The worst coaster moments I've had probably happened to some of you. When ever I go to Cedar Point it rains. On my last trip I was waiting for Mean Streak to open in a light rain storm. I was next to get on. About 40 minutes passed & it didn't open so I left. As soon as a walked out of line the train I should have been on left the station. I went back in line because it was short & it started raining again! Stupid Cedar Point rain policy Another incident I had at CP was when I was waiting in line for TTD. This was in 2007. I was next in line & the ride broke down. It took 45 minutes to reopen but I still got on it.
