I ACTUALLY REMEMBER THAT!!!! I was in Atlanta like 5 years ago for the MLB all-star game and to see my uncle. We were in the Underground and my mom pointed it out to me. Well, it's just another reason on top of SFoG to "visit my uncle"

It's a possibility that it could be a flyer.... Wasn't the rumor that SF ordered 3 B&Ms for 2006? Goliath, Tatsu is two.... And this is the only other SF park where I have heard anything about land clearing....

MY 3 Kingda Ka launches were all pulsing, where it gradually speeds up, but others get single tugs. All 7 of my TTD rides were single tugs. So for my rides, TTD has a more powerful launch. KK's launch does feel longer becuase it disengages the catch car further down the launch track. KK has good airtime on the tophat, but the air on the 130 ft hill is great. The OTSRs allow for more airtime, because you can get some room unlike getting stapled by T-Bars

I'm short, but I still found the OTSRs on Storm Runner to be pretty uncomfortable. I rode TTD before Ka, so I was presuming TTD would be better but I was wrong. KK's restraints were fine because you don't go upside down and get tossed into them. Plus, it's possible to leave a little bit of room for some airtime unlike with the t-bars.

I did Scream(!) 4 times in the AM then 6 times in the PM without getting off. I have done Kumba 5 times in the morning without getting off as well. At Great Adventure, I have done GASM 5 times in a row on multiple occasions. Then on Easter I did Chiller 6, Nitro 3 and S:UF 3 consecutively. The ops at SFNE are jerks about it. I get off, and there are 4 empty seats on the train, so I ask if I can get back on and they say "NO!" I mean, the ops don't ask for single riders, and there are 4 EMPTY SEATS ON THE TRAIN. What harm would it do to let me back on?

See, I'm not one of those people who are like "OMFG I LYKE LOVE HEIGHT AND SPEED AND MILLENIUM FORCE PWNS RoS BECAUSE IT'S BIGGER AND FASTER!!!!". I'm not about that stuff. Millie might not even make my top 5. Storm Runner's launch just felt like a LIM launch to me. I didn't get the force of it, the tophat was good, I much prefer that straight drop the stratas' 270 degree one but I didn't much care for the loop or the second half of the snake dive. It just didn't give me that "spice". I'm not saying that it's not a great ride, it's in my top 10, but it just didn't meet the expectations that I had for it. I didn't feel that rush I get on TTD and KK (WAY better than TTD) when I rode Storm Runner

I enjoyed Storm Runner, but I found it to be overrated. I still think that it was because I rode it just a few days after 7 TTD rides. It's a fun ride, and it's top 10, but I would take Kingda Ka over it.

I'm glad you guys had a good time! What day did you do GAdv? I was there on Friday and it was fairly crowded, but KK's line was only like 25 minutes.

You made the right choice guys. GAdv was pretty crowded tonight! Kingda Ka surprisingly didn't have that long of a line after the initial rush died down though..... . There is no way you would have been able to do it all in 5 hours. Like Mark predicted, Ka didn't even open until 6. After that it ran nearly perfect, except for a pair of 5-10 minute delays when it started to rain (Naturally, I was in the station both times )

It's not going to happen. I have seen enough of these cool ideas go without getting done around me. Xanadu Meadowlands and the new Nassau Coliseum complex to name a few

WTF?!?! Why does this one need OTSRs? The ride is supposed to give airtime, unlike KK or Rita. Intamin built a ride with an inversion this year that has t-bars!!!

I will almost surely be there. I'd be happy to meet up. It really shouldn't be that bad with crowds.... Listen to GAcoaster, he has gone to the park at least once every week for years! Operations won't be bad. I went for SP holders only on Easter, it was opening weekend, and they were running everything with two trains. Of course Ka wasn't open.... :?

Best: Raptor- really, really intense helix although the transistion into the brakes hurts a bit S:RoS (SFNE)- awesome ejector air on the bunny hops, completeting the best roller coaster in the world Worst: Great Bear- some boring turns to finish off a horrible B&M
