I find it really funny how some pop artists feel the need to try and defend their song writing honor when they have a new album come out. "No, I REALLY DID write a lot of the songs in this one!"

It has before, and it was glorious. But that... was many moons ago. I still feel its a good ride, but nothing in comparison to what it once was.

I can't stand when people get in the fast lane and just camp out while going the speed limit or slower! Are these people morons? Do they not understand the concept? And more so, I can't stand when people just drive down the road five under the speed limit. Not trying to get off subject, or start anything, but keep in mind, if we look at it like that, then the Coney Island Cyclone, Hades, Voyage, and any other steel supported wooden coaster wouldn't actually be considered a wooden coaster. Just food for thought. I agree though, it loops to say it does. Anyway, sorry, back on track...

I think we need to take some inspiration from Fight Club and put a rubber band around his testicles. Then let the highest bidder chop 'em off with a butter knife. Give the proceeds to charity.

I like monster trucks... a lot. Yes, it's so white trash, but it is deliciously white trash. In fact, last year, my brother and I went to Detroit and back all for a monster truck rally.

^Because 50 is still pretty good out of how many woodies there are in the world, not to mention there are a lot of great coasters that aren't ahead of it. On top of that, there are still quite a few people who rave about it. This doesn't have to be completely related to the poll results.

Since I'm taking time off of school, I'm now able to do something I've never been able to do before... put money in my bank account. It really is amazing. I'm not poor anymore!!

Amen to that Ross! Unfortunately though, it's been quite brake-raped and I don't find it to be a very good ride anymore. It's been slowed down so much that now it is pretty much a scenic railway. Nothing too exciting. Even the drop into the double helix as well as the helix itself has lost it's glory because of brakes. It's really sad because I've had some absolutely amazing rides on this. Great American Scream Machine (SFOG)- Though this didn't do terribly well in the polls, it seems that every person I come across that has ridden it just raves about the thing. I don't understand whatsoever. It's not bad, but I don't exactly find it to be awesome. When I rode, I had floater air at best, if even that, over the hills and the turns were taken a pretty slow pace. Just not that great of a ride to me. Thunderbolt (KW)- Once again, this didn't do terribly well, but I think we've all seen the discovery channel shows and the old pictures of people talking about this being the best wooden coaster on the planet. By no means a bad coaster, but the amusement industry must have been in a very sad state the day this thing was considered the #1 coaster in the world.

You don't know how many times I got cussed out and/or made somebody cry this summer! Those seatbelts really are a bit overkill. I guess I have a couple of resolutions I could do. I'd like to get into better shape and get into a more regular excerise schedule. I'd also like to lose a little bit of my nice guy personality. I don't mean become an asshole, but I'm sick of having people walk over me. I need to be nice, but sometimes firm.

It boggles my mind that the Beast is ranked ahead of as many good coasters as it is. I found it to be completely brake raped by almost any qualities it once had. The only thrilling part is the double helix and even that has lost some of it's glory because of brakes. It's really sad what has happened to this once awesome ride. As for Shivering Timbers, I personally love it but I can understand why a lot of people feel it is overhyped. I personally feel that if you want to get an amazing ride on it, you have to ride it in the front late in the day. It's one of those rides that runs much better when it is really warmed up. As for the front, I found the back to be simply too rough. I never gave the middle a try. It's nice to see Hades and Avalanche as far up as they are. I hope to see those two climb even higher, particularly Avalanche in the future.

Just out of curiosity, is it possible to add a "search topic title only" option? Maybe I just suck at running searches, but that would be a beneficial option to me.

^Those are the days where I'm actually glad that universities could care less what the weather is like.

Yeah, I really want to ask a ton of questions about Japan, but I recognize it probably hasn't even been planned out yet, so I'll just hold out 'til the official announcement.

The most beautiful girl I've ever seen came into work tonight. She was that kind of person where you don't even say to yourself "wow", you just kind of look at them in amazement because it's the kind of person you dream about. That probably sounds freaky, but she was gorgeous and had the most amazing smile.

Wow, I've always heard people making jokes about how small DL's castle is, but I never really understood 'til now. That first pic of the castle on the previous page really shows what everybody is talking about.

What were the crowds like during SFMM Bash last year? Was it possible to get everything done? I'm strongly thinking about coming out for the events this year.
