  1. I hate how when some people find out that I'm petrified of spiders, the first thing they say is "Oh, well, the spiders are more scared of you." It's like, how the hell would you know that?
  2. Honestly, I was more mocking the Americans' supposed "Center of the Earth" syndrome. Sorry if it came off as an insensitive, politcally incorrect comment. -kip-
  3. Delerium (featuring Sarah McLachlan) - "Silence"
  4. Wow! Are you kidding me? 70 kids?! That is amazing. My mom just directed and produced the musical "HONK" (tale of the Ugly Duckling). She had four kids under age 11 and she could barely handle them. I would rather stab myself in the eye, with a pencil, than direct 70 kids! -kip-
  5. Fell asleep on a highway in '01, and ran off into a construction zone, hitting all kinds of big objects. This sign came through my windshield and just barely missed slicing me in two. Found out later that when I ran into the construction zone, I severed my gas line (or whatever it's called). Had there been a spark or something, it would have been BOOM for Kip.
  6. I totally agree. I'm almost scared of getting my picture taken, I literally get anxiety. And I try and tell people that, but they laugh like I'm joking and take the picture anyway. But to have a sense of humor about it, I think the first picture of me up on a any webpage was me french kissing my friend Iain while riding the Phoenix (up on TPR of course!) Nothing wrong with a little tongue action while riding the coasters! -kip-
  7. Thunderpuss 2000 megamix -kip-
  8. Nyanko The Cat? Is it you?! Where have you been hiding? PURRRR!
  9. I stole my grandmother's Christmas present from Burlington Coat Factory. Yes, this was a long time ago, and the only time I ever stole something. The funny part was what I stole. It was this furry, leopard-print, photo album. What's even funnier is that my grandmother forgot who gave it to her a few years later, and SHE REGIFTED THE UGLY PHOTO ALBUM TO MY MOM! What is THAT all about?? -kip-
  10. Please spare me the dramatics. Everyone responds differently to tragedy. Some people use sarcasm. Like nobody made remarks about New Orleans or the asian tsunami or Tamar Fellner? Get off my freaking back. Thank you. PS. I donated money to the Red Cross to aid the Katrina victims. Yeah, I'm sooo evil
  11. Um, hello? I was totally joking. Jesus Christ, people. [edit] Oh, and FlyingScooter, I wasn't trying to be funny, I was just in a sarcastic mood when I read this post, so I posted something sarcastic...
  12. It's not in the USA, so who cares? And who needs Romanians anyway?
  13. Has anyone actually ridden Zonga? Has it ever opened?
  14. Dude, I never understood the whole school pride/pep rally thing. It's like, let's take an hour out of every semester and be proud and love each other!... then back to the racism, sexism, fights, and drugs. The worst part was how they made us go to the pep rallies. Yeah, put 2000 kids in a gymnasium and tell them to yell at eachother... great f**king idea! I would just sit there bored and spiritless while jocks screamed at me to stand up and cheer. Needless to say, my middle finger got a work out. No spirit, no pep, no pride... and I torture small animals.
  15. I've been so hopped up on pills this past week, I can't even remember if I've posted this! Sorry if I have... I "damaged" my lower back moving furniture into my new place. I finally went to the doctor. She gave me scripts for Percocet, Flexeril, and this super-strengthed Ibprofin. She also gave me a referral to see a physical therapist, which I had to cancel today cuz my back hurt too much. So long story short, I'm finished with the Percs (she only gave me a few days supply). I have the muscle-relaxer and such but I'm still in major pain. I've already missed trips to Knoebels, SFA, PKD, and so on. Not cool. Where's my violin?!
  16. I'm going comfortable today: Big, baggy Baltimore Ravens hoodie Fleece pants Pink bra $9.99 grey sneakers purchased at Walmart (!!!) -kip-
  17. Mexico's Medusa was nearly unrideable. However, it recently went under extensive work (including a complete rebuild of the Gerstlauer trains). How it's running after all that, I don't know... -kip-
  18. I talked to a couple people who have ridden Ultimo Escapo and they said the mid-course brake run was on hard - meaning the train almost stops. This was opening weekend. They also said Six Flags Mexico was toying with the idea of turnning off the trim. -kip-
  19. Rollermonkey, There is another Togo wild mouse with a vertical loop and corkscrew at Maruyama Kidland. -kip-
  20. Valhalla is one of the best water rides I've ever been on. However, apparently, some of the effects change, or even go out, throughout the day. When my group rode it, it was f***ing amazing! We went and told our friends who hadn't ridden it yet. They rode and were like "WTF? The special effects weren't even on!" As for getting wet, they sell ponchos in the line. But don't buy them, go to the ride's exit and grab one of the ponchos out of the trash. The whole trashcan was full of them. Aside from a little water on them, they are clean. Haha, I'm a trashdigger! -kip-
  21. Here is a little-known Intamin Giant Drop. It is actually the same height at Blue Fall at Hakkeijima Sea Paradise. It's called "Big Tower" located at Beto Carrero World in Brazil. -kip-
  22. RE: tATu, Wes said: I picked up their new album off iTunes this morning. Once again, the music is quite beautiful, but the chicks' voices are shitty. I wanna know who writes and composes their songs. I can only imagine how awesome the music would be if there were a different vocalist. -kip-
  23. TATU came and left long ago. I havent heard their new single, if they have one. More importantly, I thought the whole 'Young, Angst-Ridden Lesbian' thing was a marketing ploy? -kip-
  24. I'm listening to Michael Jackson. And I'm enjoying it. -kip-
  25. I rode it from opening year until like 1997. I think its terrible reputation was not warranted. It was no rougher than most other Arrow loopers (GASM, Shockwave, Orient Express, Phantom, etc). It was a wicked coaster, and I miss it a lot What always cracked me up was how BGW took out the corkscrew because the transition into the cutback was quite the headbanger. The problem was, the new track had the same tight turn before the cutback causing the same head bashing on the riders. -kip-
