IM BACK!!!!! At least to Rct2... I have also been doing a lot of playing around with NL, and a new design is in the works, but is still under construction! Anyway, this park is currently unnamed, but this is the parks asian themed section. The park is no CS and no trainer and is a modified version of the gravity gardens scenario, meaning I made it so I can add other rides besides coasters. What do you guys think? SCR34.BMP Dragonhead...Morgan mini hyper SCR37.BMP The ride features 2 themed tunnels! SCR38.BMP As well as an airtime filled layout through the woods! SCR41.BMP Station for Dragonhead and Zen(topspin) SCR44.BMP Also the section features a family coaster called "pandamonium" more theming will be added to this attraction very shortly!

Wasnt traps all there was to saw? Is this the same maze with different props? Either way I cant wait, and a chucky themed terror tram sounds awesome!

Wow, I'm impressed. The park actually looks like it will be very nicely themed, and the coaster(s) look great so far. This looks like a potentially very nice park!

^ I believe it was said before that they are using airtime to literally mean up in the air. I dont see how there could be any airtime on this.

Meh, I kinda agree with Elissa. I dont see this being a MASSIVE draw, as the height is all it has going for it, and the capacity seems fairly good. Im kind of to the point where I will go to knotts if they add a new coaster and I'll go more often. I will go for this maybe once, but knotts is unable to compete with Disney for families or SFMM for thrills, so in my opinion knotts is the eternal underdog of so cal parks.

How could you hate toads ending? You literally go to hell. Thats the best ending to any family oriented ride ever. You, sir, need to learn how to respect awesome dark rides, cause you have a list of some pretty good rides there.

^ The thing about this campaign and 13s is this feels much more like a story where as I never felt that about 13. For example, the coaster will clearly have something to do with the lake while 13 was just like "BAD THINGS WILL HAPPEN" this seems like the beginning of a story IMO. This is a good move for the park, they have a very diverse coaster collection just like Kings Island did, and a B&M will be a nice addition and a possible star of the park next to colosus. I think this is a good move!

Oh God. Heres my (potential) issue with this ride. If this ride is in ANY other section besides boardwalk this is a charm killer. I am a little apprehensive since we were all so happy we didnt get the drop tower, but now something new and bigger is coming. Dont get me wrong, those rides look REALLY cool, but I am a bit nervous this will go into a section where theres still a bit of charm.

Jennifer Love Hewit last week. I work at a resturant at DCA and she was backstage cause I think she wanted a chicken sandwitch, cause they are awesome. She seemed pretty cool, she said hey to us as she was passing and I didnt realize it was her until I was told later. We apparently have a number of celebrities that visit rather frequently, but I have only been there about a month, but apparently my resturant (taste pilot grill) is Kobe's favorite place at the park.

Tower of Terror(floridas is the best, but the DCA one is a close second) The Orange County fair giant drop aka ARM tower Supreme Scream. It's funny how the ARM tower is so much more intense feeling then the much larger S&S tower!

True, but it wasn't very "disneyish" when it first opened. Remember when it used to give CRAZY ejector airtime in like 3 parts? Anyway, nice recreation. I really think it will fit in well anywhere because california screamin is the ultimate family/thrill coaster.

It really comes down to this, there are Disney people and non disney people. I am a Disney person, a pass is essentially a necessity and Disneyland is one of my favorite reasons I live in California. Disney does make family rides, but they are damn fun rides in general, and the theming alone makes them become world class attractions. Did you know that every train, car, detail, or whatever are checked at Disney all the time. Case in point, during CM training we went to attractions backstage and learned that each horse on the carousel is individually painted and touched up so that they never appear worn. I work at the park and I still go there on days off. To make a long story story short disney is the best park, chain, place, destination, theme/amusement park anywhere. No offense, but your kind of like the lady who sued HHN for causing her mental anguish cause she was scared. Certain rides dont accomidate to certain people of certain body dimensions, and that must be accepted by anyone as it is a safety issue. You suing will do nothing for anyone because A You wont win and B you still wont be able to get on the rides. Chill out dude, is two rides really worth getting this worked up over. Islands of Adventure has many other fun attractions, have fun and ride what you can instead of complaining about what you cant. Sorry if I am coming off sounding mean, but dont sue the park or manufacturer(s) for something they have no control over.

I feel kind of stupid for asking this, but do mitsukoshi and Tapan Edo have the same menu? We went to Tapan Edo, which is, I believe, the larger of the two. The food looks very similar and it seems to be prepared in the exact same way. That resturant is absolutely delicious, although I felt kind of dumb since I hate using chop sticks and got the lady to make me the special "easy" chopsticks. That is IMO the second best resturant in orlando after Ohana. Anyway, I really like the pictures, they show off a lot of the awesomeness of Disney! Keep it up!

Hmmm... This seems like a weird choice to do in 3d considering this is a very dark film besides the transitions which are like retro movies. Also who is killer Carl? I have seen the movie before, but not in a while, so would someone please just refresh my mind. I do really like that movie though. OMG! What if we got Dr. Satan as the icon for hollywood. That just sounds awesome, he's so interesting, and he as tons of potential! Im excited.

Awesome TR so far. Just for some insiderish super nerdy disney information that I learned in CM training, the hardest hidden mickey to find is actualy ony visibe from a plane. There is a hidden mickey made of paths and walkways. Also, there is a very hard one in DCA, one of the "rocks" that are in the concrete in Sunshine Paza is a mickey. THE AND I DONT EVEN HAVE THE BOOK GHOST

All right, that kind of makes more sense. I read over my old post and I sounded like an ass, so I apologise for what I said before. Matt, your evil eyes were well deserved. Sorry, I will try to be more civil in the future.

Essentially a few years ago I created a unique game called RCT pairs which involved a team(2 people) creating 2 themed coasters a month with a theme park around it. In other words, they were judged on 2 coasters a month, but were judged quite a bit based upon whether the rides were themed well or fit in with the park. BAsIC RULES The basic rules is that a team will be created fairly, meaning people such as nin and Belgianguy could not be on a team. The teams will be voted upon by contestants to ensure that they are fair. The rules then are very similar to the original, a cenario will be made so everyone has the same materials. Trainers may be used, but Please do not over use them, as many members here are not able to hack as well as others cough Dmaxsba cough and that would give the one team a huge disadvantage. Merging tracks together and things like that are acceptable since many members are able to do that, but something like Dmaxsbas flow rider as well as a lot of the ne hacks are a bit hard to pull off. Also participants may not vote for their own park, I will vote for my favorite each month(I will not be playing) and will be able ot view the results of the monthly poll, and anyone voting for themselves will disqualify their team. NEW TWIST This time, however, the two coasters (2 still required to be built and themed each month) will not be the only thing that will be voted on, but the park as a whole will be voted on. That way if you build an amazing coater with little theming you will be less likely to win. The park does not necesarily need to have a "theme' but it must feel like a real park, meaning shops, other kinds of stalls, flat rides, water rides etc... must be added so that the park feels like a real park. The game does not necessarily have an ending besides the voting each month. This is done because if the contest were to just randomly end you could give it a thread on TPRs main forum and continue where the contest left off. The cool part of this competition is it allows many of us to see what many designers can come up with, and many people will learn tecniques from their partner which they can use in future projects. NOTE1 these rules are entirely up for discussion and debate and can easily be changed. Anyone interested? Also I will not be participating like I did in the first one as that was a point of some 'controversy" and i really think this game has some potential. If you read the thread RCT2 is still far from being a dead game, and many new designers are coming here every day. If this shows interet we will work on the next phases of creating a pre ser scenario, meaning a landscape as well as all the scenery and we will also begin creating teams. Anyone in or have suggestions?
