  1. TBH, I don't think New Orleans will ever get another park as frequent as these hurricanes are visiting them... Seriously the city has no money nor does anyone in it how can a park live when the people have a problem putting food on the table?
  2. Well, last night me and my friend went to Knott's for part of the night then we decided to split up because it would be more fun alone and it was! I only have a few photo's though because they didn't want flash cameras and photo's didn't work good in the dark... We started off on a ride, Suprime Scream! no line walked right on. (This was great did not expect this at all!) then on to the Xcellerator! witch, also had almost no line! we then finaly did a maze. the "Killer Clown Kollege" It was a fun maze one of the shorter ones though but fun... We then rode Boomerang (no line again) and on to Lost Vegas - 3D! now, The 3D glasses they sell and not required so the first time I did it I did not buy them but I found a pair later on a ride and redid the maze and thought it was worth the $5 or what ever they where charging for the glasses. Lost Vegas 3D was maybe my favorite maze because of the way it was done, Servers with drink trays falling on you and someone stuck in a slot machine made this maze awesome. then we went onto the Pony Express After that we went onto the 13 Axe Murder Manor . I did not really care for this maze as it felt like alot of walking for little thrill although I really did like the libary part but out of that this maze wasnt all that great. Across the way from that was the Doll House Factory where it was extremely hot inside the old dance room. I wish I passed this one up because of this but oh well, at one point there was a section where it was supposed to be like a winter wonder land but felt more like an oven... When we finaly got out of there we went to get a soda... just guess house much the vending machine was... Seriously... $3? nope. $3.50... keep going... $4! thats right I put $4 in a Pepsi machine and selected Pepsi and got Fruit Punch (lucky them I like fruit punch) at this point we decided it would be more fun to split up and do the mazes our selves. I walked through the Ghost town streets and personaly I hate fog machines. They make me feel sick of chorse though they where every were it was more like Fog Town. Ghostrider! I always loved this ride but it was extra bumpy. in the picture you can see my face of pain! I'm serious! it hurt (last row) and the fact one of the trains last row's where broken the extra long wait for pain was not worth it. Then onto the Asylum and Club Blood. the Asylum wasnt to bad, but nothing really special. Club Blood though was like a strip club. Girls dancing on poles and in "Cages" this maze was also covered with Fog Machines. After that I did some walking around then Alien Annihilation. In front of this one they where renting out Lazer Tag guns so while you go through the maze you can try to shoot the targets and goblins. This was a shorter maze and IMO not worth the gun rental (I didnt rent one anyway though) because of how short it was. Then I took a spin on the Sierra Sidewinder. I love this ride it is always smooth and fun. Then the Slaughterhouse. outside of the maze they were selling BBQ ribs! I didnt get any but it was a fun maze. I liked the smell of ribs all the way through it. After this maze I did another maze I do not remember the name of and road Montezooma's Revenge and Jaguar. On Jaguar I was a little disappointed they didn't make some kind of maze out of the temple. I thought that could have been fun. Then I went to Panda Express for some food. same as everywhere else twice as much $$$ after that I did Pyromaniax. (The Log Ride) I really do not see where they got the name because I do not remember seeing any fire but guys hiding and jumping at the log... Still cool though because most of the lights are off so its completely dark witch I always think makes a better ride. And Quarantine. I really liked this maze, maybe the best there! but short really short probably the shortest maze there and due to the fact its going to be a movie dunno if this will return next year even though it is the first year. The firefighters there did a good job acting and the sets where the most detailed. Up next and last besides riding a few rides again, Cornstalkers! This was a great maze that takes place in a Corn Field! I really liked this maze because of how long it was and how diffrent it was. A lot of the maze there where people jumping out of the hay at you with really gave you no clue when someone was gonna get you. All in all it was a fun right, Little crowds did most everything besides a few mazes and had a lot of fun. I would recommend going alone though I think I had more fun when I was alone and my friend agreed. Pictures! ADMIN EDIT: Thanks for sharing your evening at KBF's haunt. I have deleted a redundant section of your write-up (you repeated your first eight paragraphs). It looked like a cut-and-paste error. In the future, always hit the "preview" button before "submit." Chuck Wow, seriously? come on this is supposed to be a huge event! The newest maze! Xcellerator's line woot!
  3. Honestly I had one of the Lo-q devices at SFFT and I though it was neat but really annoying because you still have to wait before you can ride. At SFMM you don't have to wait that much, you give them a pass you go into the "Select your row" area on most rides. I think guests will be mad to find rides like Tatsu or Deja Vu frequently "Full"
  4. Nope and Nope... Keep guessing!
  5. Good luck! * Hint, this no longer exits*
  6. Well, I wont be there anymore on Friday because I traded shifts with someone... if you can go Thursday night maybe we can meet up Rollerman87, I work at CDR.
  7. I plan to go Thurday and will be there Friday but I have to work >_>
  8. I do not think this is a good idea... I mean come on I think theme parks should be themed for fun not for religion. If there was though I can see a LIM launch ride where you launch through the gates of hell
  9. The shirt looks Black but its really Brown just for anyone wondering...
  10. Friday 9/19 I rode Boomerang at Knott's
  11. They have been handing out the employee shirts for a few days now I just got mine today and am positing pics Back of the 08 Knott's employee Haunt shirt! Front of the 08' haunt shirt
  12. Yankees win... 7-3 Jose Molina with the final home run... The first baseball game I think I have ever watched I hate baseball its so slow moving!
  13. I am going to guess its going to be in Psyclones old lot... I was in the Sky Tower Saturday and was looking around and that is one of the largest available spaces unless they build it over the back road or plop it in the employee's parking lot (wouldn't put it past the old management!)
  14. I use to watch the WWE/WWF just to watch The Rock (Dwayne Johnson) and Stone Cold Steve Austin fight at each other. Those where the days... Although I wish he was still fighting I don't care for some of his movies hopfuly this one is different
  15. Knott's would still be great but Cedar fair knows one thing. Build the fastest and biggest roller coaster to beat Six Flags I seriously think the reason they bought KBF is to try and take traffic away from SFMM. Knott's is like trying to be the next SFMM and it seems like everywhere I turn (as an employee) there talking about taking somthing out and where the next ride can be placed! I didn't realize how much I missed the shooting gallery when they put in the Panda Express till after it was gone even though I never really played it... Atleast its themed but honistly I dont think you can really put a time scale on Knott's because you have people who will always go there...
  16. ^ man I am not sure on that one but I use to be crazy about it around the time when it cloed
  17. I work at Knott's I can walk through most any of the mazes right now...
  18. I got a walk through the Doll House factory the other day and its looking like alot of fun again this year! I plan to go on opening night if I dont have work...
  19. You just proved why SFA isn't doing well. If employees and guests that go to the park often are the only one's that notice a difference then there isn't much changing. I don't think the park can depend on these people. I wish Knott's Berry Farm would go under, but that's just a wish. why would you wish for Knott's to go under? I highly dought it as there are still a ton of people that go there and ever seniors go just to eat there...
  20. ^ Nice maps! I really wish I got a visit when it was open. I got a ride by eariler this year but it was just sad...
  21. Get out of California. There are plenty of parks who maintain their wooden coasters correctly and are smooth year in and year out. Nice list, I have bee out of California, parks off the top of my head, SFFT, SFOT SFAW, SFDL, Astroland, Holiday World (before the Voyage) all of the wooden coasters I recall excluding Holiday World's where rough so infarct I think the smoothest wooden coaster I can think of was in California, Ghostrider at KBF on the refurbished train there running now
