  1. *is always waiting for the CP and KI sections of these TR's* Awesome update, Jahan! Glad to see good reviews of the coasters and park; despite the rain and crappy weather. But sometimes, it's those things that make the *trips* more awesome! But like James said...I always get that awesome ejector air in the back of Magnum! Hmm, maybe they had all of the trims on extra hard.
  2. Will, awesome report! Love all the photos, some fantastic shots in there! I can't wait to get up to Cedar Point for memorial day weekend. Man, those crowds suck. I can't believe I actually stayed for abit on a Saturday. I got maybe 3 rides in before noon. Crowds are so unpredictable, usually a hit or miss. Can't wait to see more! -JZ
  3. Yup, this is what's happening in Cincinnati right now. It was like that snow storm a while ago...but it's a ton of rain. A lot of schools are closed due to flooding today.
  4. The logo looks crap, and the idea sounds the same. SF should just install a Hooters. If you want real entertainers....check out Dreamworld...they have THE WIZ! And tigers walking around on leashes!
  5. I've been there twice because our family had the Gold Passes and it was on the way down to vacation. It's an alright park...you could probably get the place done in under 3 hours on a good day. Afterburn is the saving grace at Carowinds. Other than that they have 2nd gen drop tower, a Vekoma flyer, and a cool stand up. I wouldn't go out of my way to go there, let alone pay 50 bucks to get in...unless they have a new good coaster. But yeah, Afterburn is awesome. And..that's really it...And Hurler is a coaster I'm not going to ride...ever again. Horrible. -JZ
  6. I got those out along with some mollers a few months ago. I got dry socket and was out for a good two weeks....yeah, but the oxycodine helped
  7. Great report, Chuck! Fantastic pictures!
  8. Sounds good, I should be going back this summer. It's a nice day trip...I haven't been on the drop ride yet! -J "Still waiting for KI..." Z
  9. 10. Yeah....but I'd describe it as robotic movements. It's like...shift-shift...it just doesn't look like a smooth transition. But it's still testing.
  11. Well, I'm going to be pretty much home alone all spring break while my dad is out at work, and the rest of the family is at Kids Choice Awards. I'm thinking about a trip down to a park that opens early. So far these are the ones I'm considering: *Dollywood *Kings Dominion *Busch Gardens Europe Those all open March 21st, I think...which is when I start spring break. I've been looking around for some more parks, but it's pretty hard finding a cool park that opens this early, so I need to go West or South. Anyone have ideas/suggestions/tips? -JZ
  12. OMG, I found the real prototype...there's hundreds!!! O:!!!
  13. Sooo...."I've got the credit now!" Has it opened?
  14. I'm sure we could use an explosion strong enough to blast Son of Beast into another theme park. Anyone interested?
  15. I'm not sure if I will ever find out what the greatest coaster in the world it, but right now I have a few coasters that I think are the best in the world, as far as I know. (Maverick ) But now I know it's going to come down from the top eventually. I was hooked on Millennium Force for quite a while, and I just couldn't think of how something could be better than that. Now that I've had something that's better, I really understand that there will always be better things out there. So I keep an open mind on what I think is the best. There's a lot of coasters out there that look incredible, and some day....I'm going to try them out. But I think I can say the best drop ride goes to Giant Drop at Dreamworld
  16. Hmm....every airtime hill that comes after the first drop on Kentucky Rumbler, those are pretty darn good. The Beast's second drop to the bottom of the forest is pretty good. I like Son of Beast's drop into what was the loop. Smooth. I know there are some nice drops in Thunderhead's twisted layout.
  17. Cool to see some of my top rides in the high rankings. But Scooby Doo needs to be higher up there! OMG, TPR Australia Trip needs to happen!
  18. http://www.news.com.au/couriermail/story/0...214-952,00.html But...there's already sea cows out there! Oh, Japan.
  19. Wow, it really is half El Toro half Balder!
  20. The only way they can make up for this is with: A B&M Hyper. Ooorrrr....a new Sky Ride would work for me -J "I might just be a Sky Ride fanatic" Z
  21. I'm not too happy about this, but I guess I will have to see if this is better or worse. At KI; Forwards is way rougher than Backwards. RIP Backwards Racer: 1979-2007 -JZ Hey CF...can we get that Paint-job back?
  22. And pretty much any Millennium Force ride. So much fun!
