The Official "TPR MidWest USA 2007" Trip Thread!
KrakenKing replied to robbalvey's topic in Photo Trip Report Archive
Okay, so it really wasn't screams of pain. It was more yells of "WTF is going on!?" Sort of like on LoCoSuMo... it did things that coasters shouldn't do -
Haha, I was the same way actually... I've been with women before... and each time I go back, I realize why I'm gay

Yeah, as Jay and I went around, I just saw everyone watching us as we pummeled down the drops at the end while we were yelling in pain. I would've laughed if I wasn't so concentrated on bracing myself. -

That really sucks that I missed that Robb and Casey bonding moment... but after riding it, I wanted to get as far away as possible from the ride! -

The toboggan coaster was actually smooth around the helix portion... but when it got to the small drops, that's where we encountered pain. -

OMG. Home from the trip. I REALLY miss everyone! Except for one or two people (You know who you are). But... It's time for me to go cuddle my b/f and sleep. OMG SLEEP! YAY! -
Mine was the Order of the Phoenix. That book was just excellent! I'm not done w/ the 7th one yet though, so it may take the #1 spot.

Tornado hits Flamingoland
KrakenKing replied to Kumali-'s topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
For those of you saying it's a funnel cloud, I don't think it was. Funnel clouds that don't touch the ground don't cause any damage. When it touches down (Even if you can't see it) it will cause damage to the area it's near. We had one here not too long ago that didn't look like it touched the ground, but did cause damage. It was classified as a tornado. -

I voted Quarter Pounder... but I actually like the Double Quarter Pounder a lot more. -
Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix: 4.8/5 I saw Harry Potter And The Order of the Phoenix at a pre-screening last week at AMC Pleasure Island Downtown Disney. Ended up waiting 8hrs in line to see it. Before we got let in, there were still about 400-500 people outside with their Myspace Profiles printed out, waiting to see if they could get in. They only allowed 300 of us. Very good movie actually. Followed the book MUCH better than the 4th movie did. They did leave a few details out though, but not enough to withdraw from the storyline... basically useless information, or, information they needed, but brought about in a different way. Professor Umbridge = Luna Lovegood = They picked perfect actresses for those roles. I had a true hate for Umbridge in the movie, just like I had for her in the book... I kept yelling at the screen, it was bad. Luna was very absent minded and oblivious to everything around her "I hope they have pudding", "My clothes have gone mysteriously missing, I believe it's the work of Narggles". Great acting for both of them. I can't wait to see it opening night again at iMax 3D... sucks only the last 20min of it is in 3D. Michael "Sorry Professor, I must not tell lies" Redig
