We'll let me post my indiana beach update little by little in this post, because the internet is crap once again... Edit: Part 1 is done... I would have gotten done quicker if the internet was better! Oh well! Thank goodness this isn't one of the rides... I think anything that is manual labor isn't a ride! Stroke! Stroke! Let's not forget the obligatory welcome sign pic that everyone will post to make sure where you are! It took a while to get on anything... why... well let's play "Where's Wald...err... Jenn and Scott?" Collecting their smoking credit... A map of the park. Don't ya love it when they point out the location of the bath house for the kinky kids! It's something for everyone! Looking fabulous in the rain... Last pic for now before I run to pack! Don't want to be left by the bus! We went to dinner and I found my credit of the day! Gotcha!!! Poor guy!

(sigh) That's not even funny. Have you even read the other threads where people b*tch or even jokingly complain about updates? Obviously not. People shouldn't have to explain for the umpteenth time why it's so difficult to make mini updates during the trip, so just hold it down and patiently wait for an update! ^Yeah I tried to work on update last night and five minutes after starting my face fell into the keyboard. Just think: I'm just doing the park and not organizing anything! Terry -
Don't you have something better to do than insult your elders? Didn't think so. Either way, you'll be alright. And it's not an insult. I think it's troubling that someone would say that to another person, even if it's a friend in public. Terry

Well I'm back from finishing up Cedar Point where: 1) I finished all the coaster credits 2) Found a gold mine of statue credits! 3) Got felt up by some underaged fast-a$$ed girl. "Oooh you're so buff!" she said while squeezing on my biceps. Oh my! 4) Shot a little video of me on Cedar Downs (the horse race ride) Anyway, let's see if I can finish up kentucky Kingdom and Beech Bend: Finally the last credit--yeah we're gonna make the fake palm tree in the water park a credit. You know they don't have these in Kentucky! Next it's on to Indiana Beach! Ladies this is what happens when you use that cheap horse hair and glue for your weave and try to ride an out of control coaster. I bet she had to leave early because she was probably bald! A reverse pose for you. Sheesh! I need to work on the flexibility. I lost it when I benched 300lbs! Scott shows Gary how to pose for a pic while in line for Kentucky Rumbler. Surprisingly enough, this wasn't the death chariot I though it would be. Chang actually judo chopped me in my head! This is the scene of my first POV. I'll need to convert it to a Windows media file since I only have my Powerbook with me... Robb, can we post mp4s? Anyway, I'll post this crazy POV soon! First credit of the park! The supervisor told Gary "Well don't kiss it!" The only comment we got from the haunted house is that is was air conditioned! David and Gary go in to get out of the hot sun... and the ride op was so helpful he let them fasten themselves in! The "Pressure Cooker". Ride it and see what I mean. I don't do "Spins and pukes", but they said you could fry an egg in there. Next up, if you couldn't tell is Beech Bend. At first I thought I wouldn't like it, but I really did! My starburst posed turned into flexing! My... I've been working the shoulders out... making David's bus ride hell with my shoulders in his seat! Help!!! Attack of the fishies! Take my picture of taking your picture... The bear decided to switch to the other team. Guess we turned him out! That's not the pose!
-
Yeah yeah, I said Beech Bend was next, but since there weren't many credits to be found I'll give ya a few more Kentucky Kingdom pics to get out! Edit: The hotel wifi is raunchy! I just lost my uploaded photos when the connection aborted. Back to uploading pics with my phone! Guess I'll do it later today! Here's two... I'll add more later! "Somewhere under the...." "Dammit, I'm sexy!"

Well here goes my first TR, which is documenting my Midwest trip. This TR is coaster-lite, but I'm sure you'll get plenty of people snapping more than enough pictures of the coasters! Before I start though let's get a few ground rules out of the way: 1) No complaining! Take what I give ya! 2) No requests to see more people or certain people! Take what I give ya. 3) No asking about when the next update will be... you know the rest. Let's start off with Kentucky Kingdom for starters. Since I'm working off the internet connection on my phone, I'm going to split it up in a few parts. Like I said in the official Midwest thread, Six Flags really pulled out the red carpet for us and there was quite a collection of coasters for us to ride during ERT. Of course I saw other things to distract me... But this is. On that note, it's off to Beech Bend... This is not Sharktums approved... Huh? Look out GQ! Where's our modeling contract? Yeah, this is being counted as a credit! Had to do something while waiting for Deluge to open! Missed credits... couldn't run into unauthorized areas no matter how much I was egged on! S-t-r-e-t-c-h!!! Another favorite was the starburst signs! David demonstrates his flexibility, no comment on what the rest are doing! The rest of the "Rough Riders" had to get their credit in too. Jenn, don't feed the bears! Hmmm... looks like he liked it. I saw my first victi...err... credit as soon as i entered the park.

Well our group's second attempt at the park ended better than the first... we got on ONE WHOLE RIDE in seven hours! I think I need another beer! I see it clearing up again, but I'll wait until the evening to try again. I'm working on my first TPR... my statue credit hunt! I'm using my cellphone as a modem so it may take a while to post. You had to be at Gay Days @ Disney to see that! I was hanging out with major gay porn stars so I had to keep up! missingmusician: You have to look at it from Robb's standpoint. Among doing the other 50 million things he does, he's also hanging out with his friends. That's who you are going to see until he sifts through the gigabytes of pictures everyone has giving him so far for a full update. But here, I'll give you about eight more people to look at. Should I start my own thread? Everyone else got their last rides in... as for me... (There, now ya got more people to look at so stop bitchin' ) There was a live band upstairs. Rock on Gary! Takin' a break from coaster riding to calm feed our livers. Jenn wants to take a jar home with her. Show the TPR peeps your skills, gal! Oh my! Talk about selling things to keep the guests happy! The staff was so nice... and the chef brought us extra cookies... like I needed them... my diet has already been shot! He got the credit too and didn't even know it. Statue Credit! It was a hunt for this one! So while everyone's eating, I go in for the kill... Oh my! There's something for everyone at Indiana Beach. And no I didn't go up! Bungy Tramp? I'm saying nothing... We used the hats to "channel the turkey" that we loved so much from HW. You know people were asking us if the hats came with TPR membership? No boo. -

Oh, highlights of my day: * Riding the Trojan Horse go-cart and while racing another TPR member a kid slams into both of us intentionally and I ran into the wall. (He also ran into other members too) I drove to the ride op and turned him in, earning him a warning (he should have lost his riding priviledges). I told the ride op "You better get him before I do." They almost saw a black man running down the tracks and snatching a 16 year old out of a car (the cars were about that slow) and throwing him over the horse! He had me madder than the lady at Indiana Beach that stood over me outside the smoking section and she got ashes on my shoulder! Then she acted like she didn't do it! She almost went into the lake! * While I loved the rides, I think a few employees need to work on their customer service. A girl gave me attitude when I asked her, at around 10:30am, when were they going to serve food. At first she acted like I wasn't even there! The park was open at 9:30am and there wasn't a place to get drinks or food! I told her "Nevermind honey. I'll go somewhere else. Your customer service is making me sick." * Getting another ride in on Hades. Talk about wild rides in the dark! * Finding more statue credits and several members were helping me! Please note: Find statues... don't ask me to hump the costumed characters! I want to stay in the park for the rest of the day! Sheesh! * The backseat on Cyclops made no sense! You're not supposed to go down the last hill with your butt perpendicular to your back! * Avalanche! It's just as out of control as the video! I appreciated the staff bending over backwards to get the coaster running for us after the lightning hit it. * Today's group activity (heh heh). Terry -

Yay for wifi in the room! Boo for White Castle being closed! I'll let Robb fill you in on todays fun, but "Not for Sale" was a very good sport and I was in rare form today... which was sponsored by Bud Light. But it was really "all about him" today! Blazen_AZN: Must you say bad things about other's pics? I mean I've seen your pics for months (since the time I've started posting) in this thread and I got two things to say: 1) Is your self esteem that low that you have to post your pics and down others to feel better? 2) Frankly, none of your pics are that good to warrant the attitude that you are throwing others. Especially when you're photoshopping them to death! Calm the 'tude down, little girl. I got a suggestion for you. Just post a pic and say "This is me" and that's it. If you don't like something about someone's picture... say nothing. I remember when you got all ruffled about when people jumped on you for photoshopping your pics. If you don't want people talking about your pics, extend the same courtesy to others. That's what maturity is all about. But feel free to give others compliments... everyone wants to feel good about themselves. Terry "who needs to get packing for the next leg of this Midwest trip" Weaver

Robb: Nicely put. But you know I still liked the other version that I saw last night. Not For Sale: Um, how are you gonna complain and you're on the trip yourself? If you want to "mix it up" on this thread, post the pics you have! Different people will have different perspectives on this trip, so show what's going on with you. I know what I'm doing is a bit different than what everyone else is doing... like people were playing Elissa bingo and I'm on a statue credit hunt! Better yet, why are you even worrying about it? Just have fun on the trip! I know I am! You are living what Robb is posting!!!! Sheesh! You can't please everyone; but to be honest, you're being a bit ridiculous. Anyway, I'm down in the lobby doing a quick post before I have to finish packing and get ready for the morning ERT... even though I see more rain coming down! But at least I see breaks in the clouds so hopefully it will die down before then. Luckily I rode every coaster yesterday and still had time to wander around and get drinks! I mentioned to Robb that if you (meaning the others on the trip) just get coasters in and not look around the parks, something is wrong with you! There are interesting things at every turn if you take the time to look. I even rode the Apollo's Swing and had a blast! Today we'll get the coaster at Riverview in and I can do some go-cart riding! (maybe even a re-ride on the coasters here) Mt Olympus is a fun place! Terry -

It was another amazing day for me! Four words: Deluge and Kentucky Rumbler! Six flags really pulled out the red carpet for us! It was a nice park and they kept it very clean as well. We did get slightly lost in the park, I think a sign that says "bridge to next section to park would do!" Deluge was a fun water coaster and we rode it a few times before heading to the tornado bowl. Hint: every park needs one. I was at this park about 10 years ago before Six Flags bought it and they have really tried to build it up. Beech Bend was surpisingly fun as well, although (as usual) we found more fun things to do off ride than on! Kentucky rumbler was running insane and was awesome. Highlights of my day: * My first POV one the mouse ride with sound effects everytime we hit a corner Oh the pics below explain the rest: We loved the Starburst signs! This one started the insanity! Everyone was so busy getting their ERT in they was stepping on this the weave in the dark! Didn't anyone but me see it coming out of the exit queue? They said on Kentucky Rumbler to secure ALL loose articles! That's what she gets for using that yack and Elmer's glue... it melts when it gets too hot! -

Dude, you can't steal that baby Jesus. It's all part of one large piece of concrete. You'd have to steal Mary along with baby Jesus, and I don't think you've been working out quite that much. Dude, you haven't paid attention to what I've been doing in the pics! Who said I was gonna steal the baby? I was thinking the three wise men, Mary and Joseph was gonna get the treatment! Sheesh! Heh, you call that "molesting" Holidog? They're only feeling him up! David joins the pics giving his best "face". We found our group name! (this is sans david) I'm gonna burn for even thinking it! Smoking area credit! Just to show that I wasn't the only one getting these "credits". We did this while everyone was doing the photo walkback! I'm sure this is the only view of this you'll get! We'll be there 9th & 10th. I will say that HW is one of coolest parks I've been too. Free soda? Free sunscreen? Chatting with the owner around the park? Unheard of! Did anyone else notice that you didn't see any trash anywhere on the ground? Today was my first water park and I had a great time as well. I thought we were gonna fly out of Zinga... then I thought the next raft coming was going to hit us because we couldn't get the raft to exit the funnel! Oh the Legend was PAINFUL! ^^^So exactly what are you looking for besides someone who likes coasters? But I'll tell ya something. It's about the "This has got to change statement." If you're still single and hating it, then it comes back to that statement. If I've learned anything through life, it's is the only thing we can change in our world is ourselves. So if the wrong people or loves are showing up in your life constantly, then you may want to stop for a sec and look inside. I had to do it and wrote my memoirs as I looked at myself. I saw things that I was doing and made an effort to change. Guess what? As soon as I did, somebody really nice and special showed up. And they like exercising and coasters as a bonus. Downunder, not bursting at the seams to talk about coasters huh? Well you're going into the belly of the beast in a few days! I know after day 5 the "credit" talk is probably to drive me nuts! For me it's vacation where I'm disconnected from anything work-related, not an extended credit run. Terry -
1) The tire I had a nail in got fixed today. Luckily it was under the road hazard program so it cost me nothing! 2) I started getting my clothes together for the midwest trip. Nothing but tank tops and shorts are going with me! 3) I'm back up to 192 lbs from my bulking up, but my pants are still loose around the waist! Still trying to get up to 200lbs though. Been concentrating on my biceps and chest; some guy at the gym complimented me on my arms getting big and asked me for tips! Terry
