^Actually that was when we were in Chicago and the White Castle was closed to walk ins (WTF???). You know he was even madder when my happy butt just trots in the restaurant, orders and GETS it within 10 minutes! Maybe it was just because I was getting takeout. But you know me, I would have tore the waitress a new one! Well while I have a little lunch hour time (yep, this late... but I programmed until I didn't want to see the screen anymore), I'll do another update: And finally for this update we have Chuck channelling Maria Conchita Alonso coming out of the shower in Extreme Prejudice (staring Nick Nolte) . Work the wrap! Give us the pristine damsel! Next we're off to Six Flags Great America! And of course this finally leaves to Robb giving Bryan the gift for being such a good sport... and for also making the Wisconsin Dells TPR so special! And today's Human Biology class lesson is... Clinton giving fortunes?!? He should have read his own tea leaves that said "If you see a chick in a blue dress, put her a$$ out of the white house and leave her alone! And hide your cigars!" Makes a good statue credit though! This was the cheap dinosaur that didn't move or make a sound! The only sound was that lady giving the tour flappin her trap! What, you can't see the dinosaur? Doesn't matter. No, cheap rock creature, you can't have Bryan's gift! But I'll make you my statue credit! We went inside the "Top Secret" to find out what the secret was. I'll tell you: they take your money with a cheap, tired, and ramshackle production! If you thought Mt Olympus had problems with the coaster trains, just imagine that nothing kills an illusion more than aliens with broken fingers! And the girl giving the tour got on my LAST nerve... I was looking for an emergency exit! After Timber Falls I found a little shop next to this haunted house, where I snapped my next credit... And in honor of "Hairspray"... I got Bryan channeling a little impromptu Tracy Turnblad at the snack bar! Between pooching and makeshift wig pictures, I bet Bryan's definitely gonna log off his account when he's not around! (Hey I may not win with the most pictures of Bryan, but I've definitely got it in the inventive use of subject matter!) "Mhuah!" (after beer #4 I'm in rare form) For the last time, I'm not buying you liquor! You just leave the drinking to the grown folks! Don't hate! We've certainly gotten our share of battle scars on this trip! My thighs are all bruised up from the lap bars at SOB! Luckily I can hide 'em with shorts! Hey gal! Smile! Ok, get your ride in and I'll bother you later! You got the hang of it Bryan! Serve! Sell it! The second shot... just a little blurry... (sigh).. I need a new cameraman! Of course with the operators manually dispatching the cars at Timber Falls, we had a little time to mess around in the line... of course I had to teach Bryan the art of "pooching"... the first shot didn't come out because of all this biatches with camera got in my way! I had to read: "This is my shot! My shot! Back up out of the frame b*tches!"

Ok, now let's post the next installment of the Dells pics! Riverview! Yay!!! As you know by now, it's coaster-lite, considering you've already know what coasters are already there! Let's bother Bryan instead! "Ready to ride Avalanche, Bryan?" (You guys know he's loving the attention now... wait until he gets to Timber Falls! I got him modeling! He does the drag queens proud!) Do you think Bryan is feeling like he's being stalked? "Err... where ya going?" (no rest for the weary) "Whatcha Lookin' At?" Getting the truck together... They're resting up, and I'm taking pictures with a beer in my hand. "Hi! Bye!" Yep, it's more bryan! When I took it, I was thinking "This will teach ya to complain!" 2pts! Bryan and statue-credit-a-trois! Don't hide! C'mon down here! Looks like the spinning frenzy took its toll on Gary. You're looking kinda green there! (Another Bryan picture point) We need a price check at register 3! Oh, really... it's not in the system? Well mark it for a fast sale! Ohh, oh yeah! And no update would be complete without a statue credit... Froggie style! That poor kid didn't know what to do! You still doing ok, Bryan! (Yep, still bothering him) I have video of this pic as well... that poor kiddie coaster! It was barely making the hill! I was waiting for the coaster to roll back and valley!

How about a few video clips for part 2 of Wisconsin Dells? As a setup, I guess I'd better give a brief recap of the events leading up to this pictorial. During the trip there was a post from member "Not for Sale" (aka Bryan) about seeing the same 10 people in Robbs mini updates. Of course this started a lot of drama on the boards... then I figured out that Not For Sale was actually on the midwest trip... that night in the hotel lobby after the failed ERT (serious rain storm!), a group of people talked with Robb and he said he would think of something... The next day, Robb announced that he was having a contest to see who could take the most pictures of Bryan... and the fun began! Little did anyone one know, including Bryan, that it was actually Bryan's mom posting under his account while under the influence of some meds! So while Bryan was scrambling to find out what happened, we were taking his pictures left and right! It wasn't until later that day until Robb found out the truth while talking to his mom... there was also some cute beer-induced footage with me talking to her as well (I want to see that film btw!). Anyway, we put Bryan through hell, and he was a good sport about it... I was shopping later and found the "It's all about me" T-shirt and gave it to him, via Robb, for making our day enjoyable! Anyway, enjoy the video clips and I'll post the rest later today! Terry Bothering Bryan.wmv I'm not bothering you am I? Bryan Explains.wmv I took a minute, after harassing him with the camera, to tell his side of the story about.

David: Thanks! And it was great having you for a roommate!!! Loco: Thanks! I try but it's hard work to exercise and put in a 40+ hour week! I have to lose this amusement park fat though! Now back to your program currently in progress... I still haven't done those videos (left my files at home), but I figured I'll give you a part one and add the videos later! Let's get started... Hmpf. Save your money. It was only cute when Bo Derrick did it, and how many decades was that ago? Exactly. And you might wind up with some of that weave from Beech Bend! Anyway, more Bryan at Riverview Park later! TTFN! Zeus Credit. He told my fortune and I was trying to get him back for it! Don't run! Don't Run! Looky, looky! Another credit to be had! Ahhh! Having a problem, boo? Seems like everyone one wanted to "serve" and "pooch" for the camera. Work it Evan! After the first train departs during the Hades ERT, it get stuck getting back to the station! Get that woods still a bit wet! We did overshoot the station on Zeus and had to ride it again... double ouch! Bryan Credit! "I'm only 17", Bryan whispered. Poor thing. "Shut up and take it" I said. Yep he became a statue credit on the trip. The first of many. Let's jump to day 2. And the star of the show. Everyone say hi to Bryan! When Robb announce the "Take photos of bryan" since he complained, I knew he was in trouble since I'm quite dangerous with the camera! This is before we found out about his mom posting, but let's pretend you didn't know... Now this is just ridiculous. Mt Olympus, fix your cars! It's not like you're hurting for money! But then I looked and i don't think they have transfer tracks for replacements! But still I held on to the bar just in case... but you see from this pic, it may have been in vain! There's only two pics from the first day worth posting, since we rushed to get coasters in so the second day would be more relaxed. Anyway, I'm sure everyone has talked about their coaster trains; this is how they are supposed to look.
-
Sure looks that way. Well I finished resizing pics for Wisconsin Dells, but I have a few video surprises to finish for our guest star of my next installment: Say hi to your mom Bryan! Yep it's Bryan's (AKA 'Not for Sale') "It's all about me day" coming up! (Doesn't he look wore out? I annoyed the hell out of him that day!)

There was only one YEEHN. Gary hit a note so high on the launch I stopped and looked at him... see? PS: You're welcome Chuck! If I do my New Years party trip to L.A., maybe we'll meet up and I'll do more sound effects at the parks! TTD got Gary feeling emotions...

^Thanks! When I'm on vacation, I can't stay serious for too long! Or sober! Case in point: I have another video! It's a bit more lowkey, but I don't think anyone's posted a TPR of the bumper cars, which I had the best time! This video is sponsored by Corona and this it the only time it's cool to drink and drive! I bet you can't guess who I am... TPR Bumper Car Takeover.wmv Got 3 minutes to waste? Well how about checking out the TPR takeover of the bumper cars during Indiana Beach ERT!

Well, while resizing the photos for my next update, I have another video for you. This is from Beech Bend when we got stuck on the Wild Mouse. The video starts after we start moving again... I had to beep out a few of Jenn's "colorful" lines! Oh and Gary's back to hitting some of those Mariah Carey notes on a few drops and turns! Feel free to "YEEHN" along on each "wild" turn! (ps If you missed the other two videos, go back to the previous page!) Terry "YEEHN" Weaver Beech Bend Mouse Estop.wmv The wild mouse is playing with us!

Personally (I think I said it before), I don't think it's right to go down the final hill with your back horizonal, and your butt COMPLETELY out of the coaster car. Thank goodness for the seat belt! I held on for dear life! Terry "Thank Goodness I rode Cyclops before Hanno got there" Weaver EDIT: Bryan, your "All about you" day TPR is coming up Monday or Tuesday. Infamous indeed. -
Has anyone noticed on the kiddie coaster video that I'm not the only one screaming? It sounded like chorus of pain! Guess there's a price to credit whoring! Terry "The coaster bruises are starting to disappear" Weaver

Well it's 8pm and I'm still at work but only to convert the first batch of videos! I did three a while ago, but I'll save one for later, since it's doubling back to Beech Bend (although it's one of my favorites). Let's knock out Little Amerika! Oh before we start, I'm making a lot of crazy sounds, especially on the turns of any wild mouse. So if you hear something crazy, it's probably me. Kiddie Coaster of Death.wmv You can't do the toboggan without whoring yourself on the "Kiddie Coaster of Death!" Darned if I know the real name, but it doesn't matter to me.. Toboggan of Death.wmv My $3.00 production quality video, made with Windows Movie Maker. But you get the point! Ouch!

I'm loving the water show pics! And you kept catching me in my crazy moments! I would be making a crazy face and turn and you'd be there with the camera! D'oh! Terry -
Well here's the next installment of my TPR on our way to Little Amerika. Since it's the weekend I'll have a little time to convert the video. Let's get started... Out of all the Midwest TPRs, you mean no one post this lovely pic? Who knew? A riverboat... out in the middle of no where! Quick! Grab a shovel and dig a moat! I'll post my toboggan POV this weekend! Look kids! It's the poor man's Peoplemover! But hey, they work better than the ones at Disneyland. Yeah... exactly. It hates me. I hate you. The trains were very cool though. If I won the lottery, you can guess what would be in my backyard! No, statues silly! No ma'am. This is about as close as I got to it. I like living without pain, thank you. Picture of me taking your picture of taking my picture... part deux. So Casey, you in the back to get more airtime? Squeeze in everyone! And you couldn't ask for better children's theming. So many places for the youngun's to go: the graveyard, under the tracks or even in the trash! Maybe the ride should hit all three! And I thought the passage to hell went down! Come here you! Another statue credit gained! We should put lying politicians and other criminals in this. Three cycles ought to do ya! Robb does double duty with the video and stills, but I'm too focused on that death trap punishing those little girls. Doesn't one of them look like they're saying "Help me!" Hey Spongebob! C'mon out! Running low on statue credits, I took a break from my yummy Polish sausage to grab this next one...

My favorite snack now is vanilla soy milk and strawberry nesquick. Not much of a snack huh? Well it is when you're latose intolerant. Strawberry milk used to be my favorite when I was younger but I could never have it. My friend told me about the soy milk and I tried it. Yayy!!! And it doesn't derail me from my diet, which I'm back on now that I've had 2 weeks of amusement park food from the midwest trip. Terry

VCR to Mac Lap Top Help
terrancew_hod replied to Top Thrill Dragster's topic in Random, Random, Random
Take a look at the products at http://www.elgato.com/ You can use their products as a capture device using their eyeTV software, which can also make your mac into a DVR. I bought a device from Miglia that uses the eyetv software (fits the footprint of the mac mini) and I used the software to import some shows from my VCR to convert to my ipod. Ebay or Amazon.com may have some of the products used so you can save some money. Terry -
^You have PLENTY of time to make a decision. You're 13; don't be in a big rush to "grow up". Enjoy these years and make the most of them! Trust me... people that start this young become BIG messes when they hit their 20's. Lay the groundwork in other areas (school for example), before you head down this road! Terry

Two things: Must have jumped up there after I got my statue credit. Emotionally scarred, I guess. Also the ride op is actually standing? I'm getting faint... This should have been called "2000 Flushes - The Ride" What was up with that water? No way I was getting in that!
-
A few things to note in the pics: 1) Have you noticed that every wall at Indiana Beach gives you information overload? Couldn't some of the related stuff be put on ONE sign? 2) I had my nametag on, even if it was temporarily tucked into my shirt before riding a coaster. 3) 100pts: I'm getting really tan during this trip! I got home and I'm a dark reddish brown from the two weeks in the sun. My friends are talking about it like crazy! 4) This is the third park on the trip that has a rainbow somewhere around that was used for gay references. Coney had the rainbow wall, Kentucky Kingdom has a ride called the Rainbow and now there a store named "Rainbow's End". Other things that happened: 1) Shawn's hat flying off shot tower and almost beaning me in the head. He said it was secured; I said "If I end up holding it, it's wasn't secured!" 2) The band pic was taken while they were playing "Play that funky music white boy". I didn't think it was much of a coincidence considering I walked in five minutes before and sat at the table and everyone saw me. Hmmm... but it wasn't as blatant as the sheriff following me around Strickler's Grove! He left after I whipped out my camera and overheard me say I was going to take a picture of him for my updates! I'm 39! I know when I'm being followed around a place! 3) Our group being afraid to open doors in the haunted house! We spent five minutes at an intersection opening doors jumping in and running back out! 4) Did I mention that Coronas were only 3.50 a bottle? They're double that in Miami so I had two! 5) The bumper car takeover during ERT. I have some video of the takeover with me bumping people in a chicken hat channeling the turkey! Guess I need to post that too! Hopefully I can get the videos converted for my next update: Little Amerika, Wisconsin Dells featuring Bryan's (aka Not for Sale) "It's all about me" day! Terry

I wore my name tag everyday, and they came in handy for holding my tickets too! And you could use that old businessman trick of quickly glancing at it for the name or putting a face to a screenname, especially when I met a few who needed to update their profile pics... we won't name names! Terry -
After finally making it home a day after my plane landed in Miami (heh heh), let me hurry and finish up Indiana Beach while I'm listening to my roommate's gag reflex kicking in while brushing his teeth! (I don't wanna know why) I'll back track for my favorite video at Beech Bend later! What to do while waiting for ERT? You guessed it! Drinking and watching the locals dance to "Play that funky music white boy"! Cheers! Let's give a big hand for "Sexual Chocolate"! "Sexual Chocolate", everybody! (notice how not one coaster has shown up, but we've ridden them several times that day? Just trying to give ya something different!) Hmm. Isn't this a gay bar? Oh well I guess after leaving the bath house you'll need a place to booze it up! Back on track. Sharky helps me eat the plate of cookies the chef brought us. He was really diggin' the hats! My diet has completely went to hell by this time, but... mmmm, cookies! Oops! Almost forgot! Jenn, you'll never get on the gynastics team like this! With me about to put salt on my big toe for a light snack, we head to the restaurant for dinner. This prize wins for "What just happened to my body and why am I giggling so much" Hmmm. I've seen some.. err... toys... but this one takes the cake! We found this lovely store with everything you would need to be a bungy tramp! They mispelled it, but I'm sure a few of my friends WON'T need these! I need them to catch up! Oh does the sales lady look pleased that I'm doing the photo op? You know, you can't get much sexier than walking around an amusement park with fowl on your skull! Will the sign rub off on me? Probably not.

Well I'm gathering my stuff to head back to Miami in a few hours; and even though I'm exhausted, coaster-bruised and my feet blisters are finally healing, I've had one of the best times ever! A big thank you to Robb and Elissa for everything!!! You guys outdid yourselves! It was truly great meeting you both and hopefully I can be part of another trip next year. I guess when I get back I can really work on my my Midwest TPR thread. I have to get around to posting my good statue and TPR member credits! Terry
