My thought's exactly. Whenever I go to Hershey or Knoebels they do a thumbs up signal. If the new ride operator didn't wait for it and just started the ride, it should be his fault for carelessly not waiting for it to be safe to start the ride.

Well, a 20 year-old can't wiggle free from the restraint system, but maybe the operator didn't latch it correctly. Another possiblity is maybe the girl had a seizure from the flashing lights. But it would be her fault if they had warning of this. Does anyone know if there is a sign warning of this?

It's mostly a community thing that just located at my school. Let's see what happened today down there... A tilt-a-whirl was set up, the first few stands came in today, the Zipper is all set up and the tractor trailer with that ride has been moved onto the street next to the midway. I have a feeling that some more rides will be coming in tomorrow and Sunday, so expect a possible PTR tomorrow and/or Sunday.

Update #27 MBW construction, Monorail construction I've got a couple of things done today. The foundation for Hersheypark Arena has been layed out, custom supports have been added to the Monorail, Tiny Timbers has been completed, Foundation for Music Box Theatre has been built, and the Pirate has been built. EDIT: Crap. You guys beat me to it. It looks like a cool coaster though.

For the last 31 years, this fair has been set up at my High School. Every year, a bunch of ghetto carnival rides are brought in along with tons of great stands selling any kind of food you can think of! This year's a little different, the world's tallest K'nex Roller Coaster is going to be set up here from what I've heard. It's height is 45 ft tall and is either a model of Kingda'Ka or TopThrill Dragster. In the next week and a half, I'll try to post a couple of mini PTR's of the rides, shows, food, and games. For now, I have the first mini TR of the fair being set up. Yesterday morning when I looked out my back window and saw a couple of white tractor trailer trucks down in the school parking lot (I live a couple blocks from the fair). In the afternoon when I was going to the movie theater, I found out that these were a few ghetto carnival rides. I came back later to find half of the rides set up, in which it seems too early to do this because the fair starts next monday. Later I went down, took some pics and got home before I get attacked from crazy carnies. Hmm. What could this be? Stay tuned for more photos and mini TR's. Zamperla through a fence!!!! A bunch of kiddie rides. Scooter bumper cars. This ride is lame, overpriced, and damn too short if I remember from last year. Zipper goodness. So, yeah. This is where it's going to be. It's not much now, but in a few days, tons of ACEr style foods will be along here.

A skyride would be cool. Most parks around this time added them with the sky bucket cars. A big park like that could need one.

It might be helpful to make this a sticky thread. Just my opinion. I replied to a spam thread along time ago, but that's back in my new member years and I did the time and now I've learned my lesson.

Oh, cool! I guess they got more done than I thought they did, because I thought the ride was still standing and that nothing was going on at it's new site. Won't be long until there's track in the parking lot at Dorney. I wonder what the new name would be or if it's staying the same?

I know, but there's no possible way to fix it. Remember, this is RCT3, you can only do 45 and 90 degree angles when building rides. That piece of straight track is the only thing I can do. ^^What's so ugly about it?

Strange as this may sound, McDonalds has healthier food options than Burger King if you get the grilled chicken sandwiches. I get the Ranch Grilled Chicken Sandwich.

UPDATE #26 MINETOWN RESTAURANT COMPLETION AND MUSIC BOX WAY CONSTRUCTION Now that GB is finished, I added bushes and trees around GB, SDL, and Coal Cracker, added custom supports to SDL and Coal Cracker, built Hatfield Filling Station, Minetown Restaurant and Arcade, and the station and portion of the Monorail. In the coming days, I plan on building the Claw, Music Box Theatre, and the Pioneer Frontier midway. Stay Tuned for more! Minetown Restaurant has been built! Comments? I still need to add SDL's station and Paddleboat Cafe. More trees and bushes made it look more realistic. The area around RXCC. It sounds like a cool idea. I just don't know if there's any issue of copyright laws. If it's possible, I'd be willing to create some parks for this.

I guess in a way, it's official! All we have to do now is wait for the track and serveying markers to appear. By the way, does anyone know what that photo that they keep talking about, looks like?

Update #25 Great Bear Station construction I've gotten GB's station done. It looks really cool because at night it will have those dark blue lights shining out of those windows on the buildings! I still need to build SDL's tunnel and add trees and bushes, but besides that, it's really coming along. Stay Tuned for more! the sign has been installed. The queue is kinda small, but it will have to do.

^^lol Depending on the cost to repair it and stuff, they should tear it down and build something new.

Yeah, it's Hershey's StormRunner Coaster. There's no need to download it, it's in the game.

Let's hope the girl gets well soon. All I can say is that I see a BIG lawsuit coming soon. This seems like a terrible year for ride safety -the enterprise fire -the Stand-Up coaster incident in Japan -the discovery of poorly mantained coasters over there. some others and now this.

UPDATE #24 Lower Minetown and Great Bear Construction I would've updated sooner, but my internet was acting up. The layout for GB is finished and it's almost like the real one, execpt for the long piece of track between the helix and first drop and I don't think I can fix that. I also built the Ampitheatre, Coal Craker and it's station, finished the layout for SDL and I'm about to start building the Minetown Restaurant. I still need to add scenery here and there, but that's it. In the next couple of days, expect Music Box Way to be finished, construction on Pioneer Frontier to start, and more work to be done in Minetown. Great Bear! I'm going to add custom supports to Coal Cracker. The Ampitheatre. I added the yellow and black flooring inside this ride section. The view of GB. Everything on GB is accurate, execpt for this piece. Into the Zero-G-Roll!

I kind of agree with you.Most of the TR's lately have been more about bashing and less about having fun. Dorney is a great park, even though they don't have as many coasters as Hersheypark and Great Adventure, they are still unique to the area. I went there last year and Hydra was my first looping coaster which I enjoyed. I don't understand why everybody hates it , because which is better, a large restaurant there or a B&M coaster?

They took that out a couple years ago, which makes me wonder, did they get rid of it or is it in storage?

UPDATE #23 RXCC construction and Comet Hollow Partial Completion I got a lot of work done today. Resse's Xtreme Cup Challenge has been built! The ride inside has lighting, effects, hills, dips, and rooms just like the real one! Comet Hollow is mostly finished besides SDL and the restrooms. I also worked on the Skyview station. I hope to work on Minetown, and upper Music Box Way tomorrow. Stay Tuned! The whole park so far. The Skyview Station. I also finished Craftbarn and added the smoking area for Founder's Circle.
