A guy over at coasterdom posted a couple detailed photos of Fehrenheit's track up close. Those track and supports are bright and colorful. mmm, Intamin. http://www.coasterdom.com/2008/01/18/fahrenheit-construction-118 -
Since I'm starting on my next attempt on recreating the park, I'm going to create more cs as I'm building it. My first object is the Tram Circle park entrance sign. It is mostly finished, but I need to flip the images and change the top image to the HP logo. Stay tuned for more objects! EDIT: The object is completely fixed.

^^^It's not that site. He first created the site a few years ago on tripod (In fact it's still there). http://members.tripod.com/matt.meckley/ ^^Yeah, I was gonna join the site, but the owner lost inerest or became too busy and the site closed. Over the weekend I hope to get a outline drawn up and send it to the future staff of the site.

I'm not sure if this is spam so delete it if need be. A friend and me are working on a fansite for Hersheypark and we might need help getting it up and running. We are looking for park photos, news, updates and we need writers and mods for the site. If you're interested, PM me and I'll get back to you ASAP. Currently, another friend of mine is working on the coding for the site and hopefully he should be done with it soon. Stay tuned for more updates!

You actually made my day for posting those pics! It's great to see some pics of "actual" construction. Can't wait for more! EDIT: By the way, were the "100 years of Happy" letters off the Kissing Tower? -

After the latest discovery of a new satellite map progam that shows the park in great detail and my latest problems, I plan on releasing what I have done so far. I WILL redo the park and make it even better! This version is incompleted and is done all the way up until Tidal Force with part of the Boardwalk built. WARNING!! This park take a LONG time to load be patient and make sure to read the read-me to find out what CS the park takes and it's a lot! Have a SWEET day and watch for an update on the new version which will be a 2007 version of the park Hersheypark 2007 Incompleted v1.zip hp version 2 promo.bmp -

After looking at a satellite image of the park in 2007, Conestoga's old queue line might be used for Howler since it's still there behind the virtual theater. As for Fehrenheit, at least 1 or 2 catering areas might need to be demolished. The station will be located down where Wildcat catering is and those fotters numbered 123, 124, and 125 could either be part of the cobra loop turn-around. The ride will be in Midway America even though it doesn't fit the theme. Could there be future expansion out that way? -

^ I think I might've solved the problem..... for now. I have been running programs in the background while working on the park and while loading, the game would get to a certain point and random colored pixels would start appearing on the screen. The only way I could stop it is if I turned off the computer. What I'm going to do is search around for pictures of the buildings I plan to build and print them out. This would allow me to run the game easily. If it doesn't work then I won't know what to do. It takes around 20 minutes for the park to load. -
^^ I agree. They don't just decide right out that they want to add a new ride. There are a few steps parks take. Like finding out what's popular with the GP, finding where to put the attraction, how easy is it to access, what to remove or add with it, etc. It took CF around 4 years to decide, design and build Maverick and it's more than likely that if new additions were made to SFMM, it would go through a board of directors or something to decide.

Keep up the good work! I plan on loosing around 45 lbs by March to get ready for summer. Maybe I should do a weight loss thread too once I start into a rutine. Have any words of advice?

That's the grand finalie. I show no sympathy for her or her sister. To me, they are just great examples of when fame goes to your head a little too much. I hate those kinds of people.

Hersheypark on RCT 3
Ccron10 replied to Ccron10's topic in Roller Coaster Games, Models, and Other Randomness
This year there was only 1 which was Roller Soaker. But since they're adding Fehrenheit, it'll be 2. Unfortunately I won't be adding Fehrenheit yet since I'm still doing the 2007 season. As soon as I finish the 2007 season of the park, I'll create a 2008 version as soon as I get some details on any new paths or buildings (ex: Fehrenheit's station and maybe gift shop). Expect a possible new update soon. -

It's kinda amazing to me about how fast it's taking for the park to build these rides. Can't wait for more! -

I built them using the CS. Just a side note. This project is being postponed until I can solve the problem with why my game crashed while loading. There's a good chance that I might be getting a graphics card. I'm keeping my fingers crossed on that one. -
Trimper's Rides Add a new coaster or two and remove a few rides to make it less cluttered. They need something more than just a vekoma boomerang and Twin Toboggans. Hersheypark Get a new coaster (In which they are! ) But they need a kiddie coaster for the miniatures and kisses height mark. Add a transport ride! The park has been without a good transport ride for 15 to 16 years! They really need something to get people back to midway america easier. More flat rides! The Claw was the last new flat they added in 2003. The are getting Howler next year, but a new disk-o could be great or rock-in tug especially for the boardwalk area. Dorney Park A better sweeper crew and MORE TRASH CANS! When I went here last year, at closing the parking lot was filled with litter and trash even with the 10 trash cans per. square inch. Maybe it's just the people. Knoebels Another wooden coaster. Even though they already have 2 possibly 3 great coasters, if they add another one maybe similar to Voyage, that takes advantage to the forests that surround it, the park could make the park even better. Steel coasters becides HSTC could ruin the park's feel. SFGADV Even though I never went here, this is kind of what turns ne off when it come to this place. Don't build the new batman wild mouse coaster. I can hardly imagine a themed wild mouse ride and I don't like the idea. They should've made it a shooting dark ride like Reese's Xtreme Cup Challenge. Don't add a new coaster for a few years. They already have tons of coasters. They don't need another. Dutch Wonderland Since this is a family park, they could add maybe a family coaster or flat ride. This one could be a little taller than the Kingdom coaster or whatever they call it now. This is just my opinion.

Late June 2009 About a week after RED ZONE opened, the rumor about X-Rider's removal was true. Fortunately I was there for the last ride! The park released this statement: The demolition of X-Rider was very swift and the ride seems to be currently in pieces in the park's storage lot. The new disko opened to today called Disk-O. Inspite of the park not advertising the ride's opening, it seems to be a big hit. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- May 2010 INFERNO is finally open! The ride seems to be a clone of the European models, but with a little twist. Part of the ride flies through the station's ceiling! WA is also adding ride height signs similar to Hershey's. Only 2 rides have it so far, but it wouldn't suprise me if the rest of the rides get them soon. The big area behind the ride seems to be looking a bit different lately. Maybe in a year or two the park might be getting a new area or new coaster. Hmm. What's happening there? The park. ...up until the built the queue. Maybe they're trying something new. Blends into the theme... That station fly-by looks awesome! I spy INFERNO! As of January, the ride's track is built. All that's left to build is the station. There's X-Rider. That's a big plot of land for INFERNO. As of the middle of June, the supports are all that's left. There go the last riders. Looks like today's the last day. Disk-O is finally open!

September 2008 FW has finally released the details on the new ride! Memorial Day (May) 2009 Today is the day I've been for in the last few months. RED ZONE opens! The line moved suprisingly fast for it's first day open and the ride was really themed with the colors of red and black. The ride was very cool, fast and even though it didn't offer any airtime, the spinning of the cars made up for it. As far as park happenings, a disko was spotted in the matennence area (pictures though). It looks like it might go in the small area across from RED ZONE. There's also been talk about moving X-Rider to a new location in the park and modifying it a bit. If they do then the reason is probably because the park want's to reduce the clutter in that area. No news on anything so far about 2010. I can't wait for the new disko! When they expand the midway down past here, it would make for a good photo op. More land for the park. The facade for the entrance and the queue patio has to be my favorite part.

Hersheypark Trip tips?
Ccron10 replied to Across_the_Universe's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
That's close to the capacity of Fehrenheit! Wow. Looks like the ride might have a long line next season. When I waited in line for Comet in September, the line filled 2 switchbacks and it took me around 20 to 30 mins.
