Six Flags Discover Kingdom! Yay for West Coast Trip and new credits!

Awesome trip report!! I'm really looking forward to hitting up the coasters during the TPR trip in August! Thanks for getting me even more excited.

^I wouldn't suggest it. Being on previous trips before, it will be really hard for you to hang out with certain people unless you already know them. The reason being is that after ERT or whatever group event we may have, we all split into our own little groups that we have already formed friendships/bonds/or whatever else with. You may feel very out of place with that.

I forgot about the Whip! Holy crap, Jenn and I were scared out of our minds! I think we were the only ones that had the car that came off the track around the turns.

I love Rye Stabland!!!!! The park was just odd, but I love odd. I think I spent more time hanging out on the pier tho.

Just a thought from when I was there on the TPR Midwest trip... Any ride that takes your on ride photo before the lift hill is going to be trouble! I don't know if its still there but yeah, that's a bad sign. I like rough woodies, a lot. Jenn and I go out of our way to ride them. SOB was really horrible. I swear my ribs hurt after riding that.

I love the SCAD tower! I did it on the Midwest trip and it as amazingly awesome! Odd they put a hockey mask on. Enjoy the rest of your trip!

I really hope that is open by the West Coast Trip! I'll assume it won't be, but if it is, I can cancel the sky diving jump I have planned for the Vegas add on!

^Please do! I'm sure I'll never get to ride it again before they add trims, but that really was my surprise coaster of the trip! Then again, I never really researched the coasters before any of the trips, so I like the surprise. I remember seeing it going through the trees and made sure I waited until it was night before my first ride. I was not disappointed. Great job again Robb, as always!! Oh and Elissa too.

^The fact I won't see you on this years trip is making me cry! Ok not really since apparently I have no feelings. Robb, great updates as always! It's great to relive the memories of the trip. You got four or five? My sleeping consisted of whatever I could do on the bus. That was hard enough since everyone on the bus is having a great time as well. I think I averaged maybe three hours of sleep a night.

I think what I said came out wrong. I mean it's just a photo representing the fact that we are leaving Philly and the next update is from NYC.

^That's because the photo was showing us leaving Philadelphia at the end of the update. We drove straight from Philly to NYC.

Wow, this thread rocks! Whew, I'm glad that photo of me took off 350 pounds! Thanks Robb for great photo skills in making me a skinny enthusiast. I like Cedar Point, but it's in no way amazing, nor are the selection of rides there. My opinion of coarse, but I don't see myself booking flights any time soon to go back there. As far as the airtime goes, why should I have to hope for a "specific seat", "non-wheel", "over the axel", "under the bird that will be flying over me", and "75 degree temperatures with no wind" to have great airtime. On the East Coast Tour, we had Phoenix for an hour during ERT and I believe I said "OMFG" on every seat. That's how airtime or just a great coaster should be. Maybe it's because I've been on a few TPR trips now, but places like Lake Compounce and Indiana Beach, I'd have no problem rushing off to visit. Edit: I just looked at the sign. The rain policy in regards to signs still disappoints me. Many people will be waiting for hours to catch a glimpse of this new for 2009 sign only to be disappointed when the sign is out for testing and then quickly covered again when a gray cloud moved overhead.
