^ I agree with most of your points. And I think one things definitely has to be made clear here - the fee is brought up to you at check out. You know there will be a fee. It is not like you punch in your credit card, and a month later the charge is $5 more than what you were expecting it to be. You still have the option to not buy the ticket after you know about the $5 processing fee. If you don't like the $5 fee, then you have another option..... just wait in line! Not really a big deal. I don't really understand why people are complaining about this. It is not like you are stuck having to buy tickets online.

Influenza Epidemic, affects parks and fairs.
Hercules replied to Miltonmx's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
^ I think he was just pointing out that it was kind of ironic. I think it has been discussed enough that it has nothing to do with eating the flesh of a pig. -
Just to clear things up a little bit: DroppINGS - something that comes out of an animals ass DropLETS - usually used to refer to a small drop of liquid, for example, water, or body fluid

Mork. And then get him a girlfriend named Mindy.

^ I thought the Ducks were going to pull it out from the beginning. They are a very good team and just didn't get it rolling through the regular season.

Just as I thought........ Devils are done.

Actually I meant moving the actual coaster to Williamsburg because the Oktoberfest area needs something Schwarzkopf. But judging by a previous post somebody made, the coaster probably isn't moveable without damaging one of the parts. In response to not understanding my sarcasm about his previous post about Python, and then Beemerboy's response about the current shape of Python.

As always, great reporting mrceagle. Good to see you around the boards. -
I do have my own personal set of morals. However, I don't like to hold them as morals because I don't want people to think that I am egotistical, and hold myself higher than anyone else. For example, someone asks me: Why are you vegetarian? I say: It is my moral belief to not eat animals. Now, the person automatically thinks that I am an elitest prick. I don't want to carry myself like that. I have my views, but I don't want to push them on people, or make it seem like I am the better person. However, I also do not think that it is right that I shouldn't express my opinions, as long as I do it in a respectful manner. Once again, I don't want to bog down a thread with this kind of thing. If you would like to continue the conversation, please feel free to PM me. Let's get the thread back to why it was initially started.

So I attended a protest of a Pets Plus store in Lansdale, PA on Saturday. The reason for the protest was because Pets Plus refuses to use so-called "reputable" breeders for their sale of puppies. Personally, I hate the fact that puppies are sold while there are tons of animals in shelters across the country, but that is a different story. Now, I have attended many-a-protest in my day, so I have developed a thick skin. There is one thing that has bothered me for the past few days though. An older gentleman, probably about 75 years old, drove by and yelled "Get a life!" From one angle, it was kind of funny. The 75 year old man clearly really gave his all into the yell, whic was noticable by the strain in his face. But a few things came to mind: What do you care that I'm here doing this? What do you know about me that makes you think I don't have a life? I mean seriously. On Saturday I: Fed and gave water to my foster cats Attended the protest from 10AM-1PM Drove about 40 minutes to pick up an order of donuts and other fine things from Vegan Treats in Bethlehem Stopped and took some pictures at Dorney Park Went to Lowes to pick up a few things for house upgrades and repairs Went to the farmer's market to grab some local fruits and vegetables Cleaned the room in which I have my foster cats Put up a gate on our patio fence Repaired a closet door Went to the YMCA for a pilates class Cleaned the grill, and made grilled pizza, breadsticks, mushrooms and eggplant for dinner Enjoyed the meal with Tricia outside on our new patio set Chilled out for the night and read a Consumer Reports while watching Old School Do I truly not have a life??? Is it because I'm not sitting on my ass and watching reruns of CSI Miami all day, going out to play miniature golf, or driving around and yelling at people out on the corner to get a life?

Yeah. I'm one of those antihumanistic, egotistical, liberal, vegan freaks that walks around and questions everyone's morals, and blatantly talks down to everyone's opinions about life.

As a Redskins fan, I'm happier with what they did overall since they did not break the bank and trade up for Sanchez. However, I am slightly disappointed for the most part because of the first round. I would have rather seen them take a shot on Oher and really start to amp up the offensive line, especially considering they have to get patched up earlier and earlier each year. I mean, Chris Samuels can only play so long. I wonder if Snyder and Cerato realize that or not? However, just looking at who they did get, I do like Orakpo, no matter how much I would have liked to have seen an OL picked. I think he will jump in, and really create a good pass rush for the defense. I also really like Kevin Barnes as a value pick. He was on his way to maybe a first or second round selection until he was injured. I think he could be a good plug-n-play kind of guy in his first year. I really like what they did after the draft though. It will be interesting to see how Chase Daniels does in camp. I also really like the Jaison Williams signing, considering they need help at WR, and I actually think he might make the roster. I just really want a true number 1 receiver so badly for this team.

Kings Island---Saturday, April 25

Wow. Glad you had a good time. It is interesting to see the different perceptions of the park on different days. Here is a good review of it, and just a few days ago there was a report the was merely so-so. Good stuff. -

Or just the work of incompetent people. -
I can't blame anyone. I'm just disappointed they had the lead at the half, and ended up losing. Though, this is coming from someone who doesn't have cable, thus is just looking at the box score right now.

I don't have moral beliefs. I don't hold myself higher than anyone else. And, yes, I am just as vulnerable as anyone else, but I'm not worried about it. At this point, it is overhyped. And honestly, I wouldn't really care that much if I did die from it. I don't care if the entire world dies from it. The Earth would do a lot better without people on it. Continue the "lame" discussion if you want.

I know. I was just pulling a Birdman on you. I just don't know right now. I mean, they are a lot better with Billups that is for sure. They are a lot more balanced, and most importantly, more consistent.

That is a very good answer my friend Larry. I was just tossing the idea out there. Those are my views. -
They will choke in round 2. Enjoy the game though!

I do know that. And taking the post from the "dumbest things said" thread over the the random section: Fail! Eating pork doesn't transmit swine flu. The news should've pounded that into your head by now. No offense to Hercules, but it always bothers me when certain groups, no matter how well-intentioned, cite faulty or outright incorrect evidence to support their beliefs. And my response to that: I honestly don't really care too much about tthis whole thing. I think the Earth could use a hit in human population. Just think about it though. Would this "swine flu" have come to life if pigs weren't crammed onto trucks, transported miles and miles, then crammed into a slaughter house, their bodies completely fatigued and altered from their natural state just because the farmer wanted to get more money for a big porker of a pig?
