  1. I know those programs take some skill to get a good looking end result, and it looks very sharp! I'm actually going back to school in September for graphic design, so hopefully someday I can do this kind of stuff.
  2. I know those programs take some skill to get a good looking end result, so props on that. Looks very sharp! I'm actually going back to school in September for graphic design, so hopefully someday I can do this kind of stuff.
  3. Beate's Freak, it's the M31 pack. Evac stairs come with pumper's steelworx.
  4. See the "amethyst" topic in the video game forum. It's not my thread but I showed a picture there. I'll take some new pics of my older stuff when I get a day off from my real work.
  5. Looking at aerial pictures, I see the ride is similar to Test Track in that it also does the slow scenes in the show building enclosed in Mount Prometheus and then after it jumps out of the mountain and dips back down, it completes a fast wide turn that surrounds the rest of the "island". Is there anyone who has been on the ride that could even sketch out the track layout and how both 20,000 and Journey are in the same show building in the mountain? Any help would be appreciated, google's not helping and the video is just confusing me more to the layout.
  6. I never posted anything to thrillnetwork... but I'd take plagerism as a compliment I suppose.
  7. Since there's no arches available in any of the theme packs and this bridge is so high off the ground, I went with a modern truss bridge to cross the chasm. The new bridge.
  8. I was thinking the same thing, I killed all the supports but I don't know what kind of structure I can put up under the bridge now. Any ideas?
  9. That was one of the questions I've been dying to ask and I've just NOW found the answer. It's funny because I think we've all had a squeaky shark at some point our lives.
  10. "Good to the last drop." for me please.
  11. Wow, I can't believe the prices of the qbot. I will definately be waiting in the standby queue for ET. I'm hoping I won't have a huge wait since I'm going on a weekday and now they've got both trains cycling.
  12. Goliath at SFMM is the only one I've been on, and after the midcourse brakes I nearly BLACKED out! Something that doesn't have too often for me-definately not a lame ending.
  13. Weird... I hope they change the color scheme if they change the ride name. I'm actually surprised it took this long to clone the name "Nitro."
  14. Awesome, love to see great parks getting modern dark rides.
  15. Wow, there is officially a ride out there I will never go on!
  16. 6-30-06 and here's what's been done... * Railbeds added to the train ride. * Tempest receives surrounding pine forest and loudspeakers/other details. * Elevators finished to mini railroad station. * Wooded areas added to train ride. * Plaza to elevator started. A look up the lift hill, just added the last of the evac stairs and lift details that needed adjusting. The area near Tempest's wingover will soon have a water ride below and around it to interact with. A train approaching the station. Elevators to take peeps down the chasm to the train station, and eventually the waterfall tour boats. Tempest catching air at night-time. The entrance at night.
  17. The coasters are made out of sturdy wire. Sections are cut and painted and glued in place on top of a premade foam terrain block. I'm planning on finishing up the 7 projects I have in production right now and then I'm going to make some Disney rides.
  18. As some of you know, I make small scale models of coasters using wire and other materials, I'm looking at sculpting some of the "Disney Mountains" and making some Disney style ride models, taking a break from the SF/Busch Cedar Fair models I've made so far. The one ride I'm having a problem getting an idea of the layout is TDS's. Is there a digram out there, or someone who has a picture of the layout of the ride. The sculted mountains will have removable areas to reveal details like track structure, etc. so getting details is important. Thanks for any help in advance!
  19. I would definately have a lot to contribute in a model coasters section (once I start building these again)
  20. Yes, I'll be selling a few unimportant organs on the black market to make sure I see Disney Sea next year on the TPR trip. I've wanted to go ever since I saw the video you guys took of Journey to the Center of the Earth. Being a test track fan, and thinking the ride would be the best if it weren't for the industrial-ish theming... yeah... I'm looking forward to Journey ALONE, nevermind the fact that they have a variation of one of my current favorites, Indiana Jones. I'm also really looking forward to the really WEIRD coasters I've seen out there from the photos. Big Boom's drop looks sinister!
  21. I thankfully got to ride Whalom park's tumblebug before it was dismantled, it's now in pieces at Edaville Railroad in Carver, Mass after being purchased at the auction. Anyone know if they will get it running or what?
  22. Vekoma's custom stuff is awesome. I know SLCs and Boomerangs aren't their best models but the they make miracles happen when they work with Disney. Surprised they're not on the poll.
