The Disneyland Resort sure had a wild decade, didn't they? The parks weren't looking so healthy in 2000 under the leadership of Paul Pressler and Cynthia Harris. Fortunately, they're much better now than they were then (at least I think so). Many classic attractions were restored/revamped (Haunted Mansion/Jungle Cruise, Space Mountain, etc.) or brought back (Submarine Voyage). Disney's California Adventure is getting a much-needed overhaul, which is going rather nicely. Overall, I'm excited for the future of the Disneyland Resort !

Biggest Disappointment of 2010?
spacemtfan replied to SharkTums's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
That's the mindset I had when I went to ElecTRONica at Disney's California Adventure. Overall, it's alright. To me, the biggest disappointments I had this year were Disneyland making the "Halloween Screams" fireworks exclusive to party-goers only and the dirty water in Paradise Pier. -
People always say that Macs is the way to go! They're problem-free, it's super fast, and they're better than PC's Hahahahaha...yeah I'm calling bulls**t on that. As of now, I am about ready to take a sledgehammer to the iMac that sits on my desk and completely obliterate it. We just spend the WHOLE morning getting the wireless keyboards to work. The iMac wouldn't pick up its signal from BlueTooth, so we tried everything to get it to work, but nothing seemed to solve the problem. From what I understand, many other people have had problems with getting the wireless keyboards to work. In addition, they guy that sold my dad the Macs didn't log out of his accounts or reset any of the passwords, which means that I can't download ANYTHING without putting in the administrator's passwords (the password that, of course, I do not know). Add in the fact that none of the games I own work on a Mac and that everything is just so different from a PC, I've just given up on Mac and switched back to my old laptop PC. It has its slowdowns and crashes, but at least I can download stuff, play games, and not to worry about syncing my keyboard or any other type of crap. ---space "screw Macs" mtfan

Title Fairy, it's been forever since I had my title changed. I think it's time for it to be changed once again. Can you please change my title so that it reads: "a.k.a SpaceScreaminJohn?" Thank you! ---space "SpaceScreaminJohn" mtfan

I've been in a retro phase lately. For some reason, I just have a sudden urge to buy an actual, physical Super Nintendo/Famicom or Sega Genesis. Maybe it's because I never had those consoles growing up (I had a PlayStation), or maybe I just want to feel the sensation of actually holding a SNES/Genesis controller and the cartridges. One of these days I got to go to my local flea market and get those for cheap! As for modern games, "Epic Mickey" looks incredible! I love how the world resembles a Disney theme park. I wonder why there aren't that many games that center around a Disney park. The only ones that come to mind are Adventures in the Magic Kingdom for the NES, Walt Disney World Quest Magical Racing Tour for the PSOne (and other systems), and Epic Mickey.

Oh, I got a good rant... You know how in a library, you're supposed to whisper and be as quiet as possible. Yeah, the people at my school don't seem to understand that, running their mouths off as loud as possible, disturbing others who are working quietly or are doing something productive. The library is supposed to be for getting work done in a quiet environment. If you're going to socialize, go someplace else! And when your phone rings while in the library (when it should be off or on vibrant), DON'T ANSWER IT WHILE IN THE LIBRARY! Go outside and converse there!

Well, you see, I did that once for Space Mountain (listened to it with both the former pre-2003 soundtrack and the Rockin' soundtrack), but I wouldn't do it for California Screamin'. When I did it for Space Mountain, I had an iPod Nano, which was small and portable. It'll fit in my pocket and I didn't have to worry about losing it. However, since then, I have now acquired an iTouch, which you know is much bigger. It'll still fit into you pocket, but on a coaster like Screamin', I do not want to risk losing my $180 iTouch.

Okay seriously Disney, is it really that hard to keep the music on California Screamin' working? I went to the Disneyland Resort yesterday to finally check out World of Color. As we were waiting for showtime, we headed over to California Screamin', just so that we can get a ride in before it closes for the night. And for the third trip in a row, I was put onto a train with no music. The soundtrack is what I love the most about California Screamin'. When it's not working, it goes from being awesome to just being okay. But that's just me... ---spacemtfan

Ever since hanging out with my new friend, Josh, I'm starting to finally understand how much most of today's mainstream music sucks. I mean, don't get me wrong. The songs are wonderful, it's just that radio stations play them so often, it becomes annoying and repetitive.
