  1. For some reason I'm only able to see the title as well as hear the music, but not the video.
  2. Wild Mouse at Blackpool Pleasure Beach is one messed up ride.
  3. It looks like the Rocket Coaster I wished someone will build (hopefully it'll have lapbars).
  4. So I did pass right by it, as I did ride Zipper Dipper.
  5. An ACE event at Bonfante Gardens included a "Behind The Sceanes" Tour. On this tour we saw some interesting stuff as the parks employment center and the employee cafeteria. However, also saw the warehouse were the park maintain their rides (although there wasn't much in there, since the park was open). Winter Coaster Solace. In this 2003 (they havn't done that since), Knott's offer tours of Ghostrider, Montezooma's Revenge, and Xcelerator. The Montezooma tour was especially interesting, becuase we got to walk up to the Flywheel. On the Xcelerator tour we got to see the Hydralics that propells the ride. An ACE event at SCBB. On this tour we saw lots of cool stuff. Some of the highlights included the Props deparment, we also saw how the Brass Ring Machine Works, and of course the Leather Band that works the chain lift on the Giant Dipper. (No, we didn't do a track walk) This years ACE Preservation Con included factory tours at S&S and Interactive Rides. First up was S&S, it was interesting, because their was ride parts everywhere from new and old rides (trains from several of SFMM's coasters were being worked on). We also got to the S&S Fun Park while it was still under consturtion. They managed to get a Screamin' Swing built and running the day before ACE was there (however it broke down before I had a chance to ride). There was also a ride that Stan Checketts had been working on for the last 15 years there. Apparently, not many people had ridden it before that event. Unfortunatly, my name wasn't drawn, so I didn't ride that either. Next was Interactive. The day ACE was suposed to be there was their moving date, so there wasn't much (there was a Frenquent Faller car, however).
  6. ^^ May 21 isn't nessecarily the opening date. It's just a date for an ACE event. Hopefully, it'll open earlier, maybe even before March. It's too early to tell.
  7. ^ Maybe, but that hapoens all the time in CA.
  8. I only got to ride one out of three lanes. So, does it count as one credit or 1/3 a credit? Damn, missed a dark ride! (Magic Mountain) Where in the park is that? Is that in Beaver Land or whatever it's called? I probably passed by it without noticing, somehow.
  9. I wouldn't go out off my way ride ride Westcoaster. It's pricy and it's probably the most boring coaster out there. However, Santa Monica is a nice town. You might be able to do DL and DCA in a day if it's really light, but I'd still recomend at least two days.
  10. I am Aquarius.
  11. Adventure City is only a mile or so from Knott's. Belmont Park is very close to Sea World. Scandia, Castle Park, and Pharoh's are about 30 minutes east of the DLR/Knott's area. Have you treid Mapquest or one of those mapping sites?

  13. Your Parking Pass isn't supposed to work at SFMM, but you never know with SFMM employees.
  14. I'd like to go on a Thursday, but I have a Math class Thursday evening. I'll see how that class is before I decide if I could skip a day.
  15. Is anybody interested in doing some sight-seeing in London or Sweden or both?
  16. All the parks in So Cal should be open in November (SFMM is closed weekdays, but the others are open everyday). Most of November shouldn't be too busy at any of the parks (only Thanksgiving weekend would be crowded and maybe Veterans Day weekend). As far as obsure coaster are conserned, give http://www.rcdb.com a try.
  17. awwww I miss Blackpool. I like how it showed more then just the Pleasure Beach.
  18. I believe Deja Vu has a wheelchair lift.
  19. The Passport I got in 2000 expeires in 2009 (got it when I was 17).
  20. Benzo, It doesn't matter if you get your Passport at 17 or 18. There is no "Minors Passport". I'm still using the same Passport I got when I was 17.
  21. Damnit! The 'Print Screen' key doesn't seem to work on my keyboard.
  22. California can be considered a commonwealth.
  23. It's short and to the point!
