  1. The info about Coaster Con is up on http://www.aceonline.org.
  2. Is anybody in or near "The Valley" willing to drive me over to the party? (Yeah, I know, I should have asked earlier. )
  3. Best: Indiana Jones at Disneyland Worst: Deja Vu at SFMM
  4. They are top notch and certanly smoother then Thunderhawk or Wildcat. There is good food to be had at Knoebel's. I would personally recomend the Alamo. Not terribly long. The longest line I waited in was about 20 minutes.
  5. I actually believe internet rumors posted on thrillride.com, even the Whopers of the Week.
  6. 1. SFMM is about a 90 drive from Orange County depending on the traffic. 2. You should be able to do everything in half a day. Just be sure to get there early.
  7. ^ Yes, that is us in the middle row. ^^ I tell you, it's nice having all those annual passes.
  8. Friday, May 20: - Never waited more then 20 minutes to ride anything at DCA. - Even the Sun Wheel had a short line. Rode in a Swinging car for the 1st time in a while. - Mom and I were going to go into Disneyland, but there was a long line to get in and we were tired, so we left. Saturday, May 21: - We were originally planned to go to Scandia on this day, but we didn't want to be outside at a park in "the 909s" in 80-90 degree weather. - We went to the Bowers Museum instead. Spent about 3 hours at the Egypt exhibit. We started on other exhibits when the museum closed. - Headed to Knott's at around 4. - Spent some time at Independence Hall. - Knott's itself was busy. When I heard it was going to be "Gospel Fest", I pictured the park to be overrun by "Jesus-Freaks", but I didn't see any of that. There was, however, lots of families in attendance. For the most part they seemed well behaved. - The total time spent at Knott's was 2 hours. We didn't ride much, mostly went into shops. Sunday, May 22: - Got to Disneyland around noon. - The park looks nice now that it's dressed up for the 50th. - The changes to PotC were cool. - They have expensive desserts On to the pictures: I knew Disneyland was expensive, but $29.99 for dessert?!?! At least it comes with a cool plate. It was absolutely deserted! It's... the backside (sideside?) of Ghostrider! hmm... S&S towers and a B&M. I wonder when they'll get a Morgan hyper? It's like I'm back in Philly. A nice museum. They don't allow photography inside, though. um...It's Orange Stinger! And now I'm Screamin' or something?? It's Screamin' 'nuff said A picture of Mom and I on ToT First ride of the trip was Tower of Terror
  9. The last time I saw my cousin (who lives in Nashville), I asked her if she had been to the Nashville Valley amusement Park. She said she had never heard of it. Who'd go to a park that they haven't even known existed?
  10. Right outside of Boise City, OK I caught sight of this field of cars of diferrent vintages surrounding a trailer. I wish I could've gotten a picture of that.
  11. I downloaded it again and it worked this time. Nice vid. Kudos to the Videographer.
  12. Lightning Racer is the only racing coaster I've been on that actually races.
  13. Moose Tracks Cookie Dough Cold Stone's Bannana Mint Chocolate Chip
  14. May 22: Big Thunder Mountain Railroad at DL
  15. ^ I think it's about 1.5 hours.
  16. Some parks (at least Knott's) have a rating system for how intense rides are. For example, the Stagecoach has a one Diamond rating while some of their roller coasters get five diamonds.
  17. Here it is! I decided to do it a day early since I'll be away this weekend.
  18. ^ Yes. Xcelerator used to roll back all the time, although I've yet too witness one.
