If you are refering to Drachen Fire that once was at BGV that was an Arrow it was planned to be a B&M buit they were unable to do it as they were still in their infancy -

Yeah that wraping job was pretty clever It's kind of funny I have a Preimer OSTR as well and the Arrow one looks so flimsy next to it. Scott " Ready for a B&M one now" Brown -

SFOG Mindbender
ScottBrown replied to ScottBrown's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
You know using that logic the Mindbender in Edmonton has 5 loops possibly 6 if you include the flat helix -

SFOG Mindbender
ScottBrown replied to ScottBrown's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
Well I wouldn't think it would have all of the parts but looking at the wheel bases there is no way it's a Zonga train so I guess it will go through a slight modification so it can be used on Mindbender Scott " New headrests are the first thing I noticed" Brown -
If you check out the SFOG update at ***** he reports that the Mindbender recieved a train from a Six Flags California property, and looking at the pictures it looks like the old Tidal Wave train has been returned to service. Sadly this isn't good for anyone that was still clinging onto a bit of hope that is would be rebuilt somwhere if this is true.

Retired Coasters

Manhattan Express needs to go, it's a shame all of the potential used up by Togo -
I haven't ride X ...I don't understand..why this difference?? Do every seats make the same movement?or not?..I'll go early in Cal..so...In SFMM!!..which is the "best first ride sit"? I like SuperCrack have had both great rides and horrible rides on this coaster, without going into detail I will just say all seats do make the same movement, however for some reason (other than the obvious It's an Arrow Coaster excuse) probably due to the great wheel tracking Arrow is known for and other things like the flexing joints holding the seats on, X will give rides ranging from somewhat smooth to unbearable, and there is no way to know what mood, for lack of a better term X will be in when you hop into the seat. The inside seat (closest to the track) of each car seems to not bonk you around as much as the outside seats. Scott " I remember one time I couldnt see straight it had shaken me so bad" Brown

Where are they?
ScottBrown replied to pgathriller's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
That is of course as long as you are not looking for portable coasters -
I guess that would be true wouldn't it ^

as far as rides Hit up the far end of the Strip ( Speed The Ride, Stratosphere and Adventuredome) you can pretty much hit all of these in a single day. Then spend the rest of the time roaming around, most of the Hotels are worth going in and wandering around, and the Shark Reef at Mandalay Bay is worth doing, just watch out for the Togo death machine and New York New York

I enjoyed Viper in it's early years and always enjoyed it for the most part

Colossus the trains the removal of the doouble down and the slowing of the lift all IMHO have nuetered a once good ride. Also at the same park both Viper and Revoulition have been getting trimmed more and more each time I have gone
