The city of Santa Cruz itself doesn't have any height restrictions on the Boardwalk that I know of, remember the original plan for Double Shot was over 200ft. however the residents are another story . . . The height of Double Shot was lowered to match the highest element already found at the SCBB the flagpole on the casino building which from what I have read is also too tall in many SC residents eyes . . . so I would think it is safe to say that we will never see anything at SCBB over 125ft . . .

Great America hasn't had a real coaster open in over 10 years. You guys have no right to bitch about the name of it. They could call the thing "Coaster Man Dumping Waffle" and it would still be the best thing to happen to the park in most of your lifetimes. So, STFU about the name, already. Seriously. --Robb "Nuff said" Alvey BEST COASTER NAME EVER!!!! Seriously though Robb is 100% correct and if you don't like the name then call it "Coaster Man Dumping Waffle" I like the name Stampede and I may even call it that

How about the horn from an oil tanker you can't get much louder than that - The trains should also be themed to cars and have horns as well that will honk as they tear around the track along with sound effects of crashes and sirens blasted out of strategically placed speakers around the coaster, heck lets use the old speakers from the pictorium - Road Rage could be it's name

What area really needs a theme park?

Given the wild history of this area I am actually a bit shocked that there was never a park constructed to outdo Coney Island here in Humboldt -
