Hey those pictures are pretty awesome. What kind of lens/camera do you have? They look really sharp and crisp Thanks! At that time, I was using a Canon Rebel T1i... That camera is gone now though. Was great camera, but I upgraded. Most of those shots were with my 70-200mm f/4L IS lens, and with my (old) 17-85mm lens. Right now, I use a Canon 7D, along with the 24-105mm f/4L IS, 70-200mm f/4L IS, 50mm f/1.8 II, Tokina 12-24mm f/4 DX, and Tamron 1.4x Pro teleconverter. If you want to check out some other photos of mine, check out www.flickr.com/invertalon Appreciate the comments! Ill look to post up some more CP ones here.

How did you get your screen name?
Invertalon replied to waterviper's topic in Random, Random, Random
Long time ago when I created this s/n, which is my email, AIM user, and most of my forum user names... Inverted coasters were (and still are) my favorite type of coaster, with Talon being my favorite at the time. So I did a hybrid with both names. Invert-Talon... Invertalon... Easy enough Talon is no longer my favorite invert though... But still a great ride. -
Sure, no problem. If you can, contact me via AIM if possible. If not, I will try to remember to email them later on today. Glad you enjoyed the photos. If you have any other type of photos you are looking for, I do most of my photography at CP every weekend so I probably have anything you may be looking for. Just let me know, Steve

Club TPR is Coming in March!
Invertalon replied to robbalvey's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
Interesting, I may have to consider it! Looks really good guys. -
I have been using it for a few months now... I did the $30 student "upgrade", even though I came from XP. Installed Windows 7 64bit Professional edition onto a new TB hardrive and love it SO much. Running 8GB ram so photoshop and games run very nicely... I much prefer it over XP which I was using for years. Excellent OS!

Invertalon replied to kingdakaeltoro's topic in Photo Trip Report Archive
I much prefer TTD to Kingda Ka... The addition of the OTSR's, roughness and the awkward "gear changing" launch feel gives the edge to TTD. Plus, I love the atmosphere of the location of TTD, versus KK (which is still nice). Gadv is a nice park... My last visit was two months before El Toro opened. No motivation to drive back there though. -

Holiday World (HW) Discussion Thread
Invertalon replied to robbalvey's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
I agree with EnglndPatriots6, I find Legend a "meh" ride as well. Laterals don't excite me in general and the PTC's make those laterals uncomfortable. Raven and Voyage are superior ride, as are many other rides at different parks. -
Most Overrated coaster?
Invertalon replied to BlackWidow's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
Yes, and although at dusk/night it is more fun, it still does nothing for me. The layout is uninspiring with more straightaways and trim-brakes to find enjoyable. I prefer a ride with substance myself. Voyage? Now that is a ride with substance. As is Wildcat, Georgia Cyclone, Thunderhead and many other woodies. Beast is *very* low down my list, as is it's father. But different strokes for different folks! -

Beast... By a LONG shot. -
I'm getting my wisdom teeth removed.
Invertalon replied to coasterdude5's topic in Random, Random, Random
My orthodontist told me 1.5yrs ago to get my wisdom teeth out (only have 2, up top), and I finally went to an oral surgeon to get the "diagnosis". Turns out, they are so high he does not want to touch them. We we will just track them until they start to drop. My dad still has 3 wisdom teeth that are yet to drop, so maybe mine wont... -
PTR: Kings Dominion & Hershey Park
Invertalon replied to a topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
Most inverted and feet-dangle rides require the removal of sandles... At Dominator when it was at GL we never forced anybody to wear shoes... -
I rode Voyage a few weeks ago and compared to opening year, it was MUCH rougher. I really did love the ride when I first rode it, but the last time I went I had two rides and it was more then enough. And this is from somebody who LOVES aggressive and rough rides... Those PTC's are killing the beautiful ride that Voyage is.

Rebel Xsi and EF-S 70-300mm IS lens to go with it, around $1200 total.

Clue for CP 2010
Invertalon replied to Invertalon's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
Fail. -
Hey guys, Here in Cleveland traveling on 480 near the airport on one of the digital billboard signs, a new CP advert comes up with a silhouette of a wooden coaster, a man on top of it, and a quote saying "The prophet of zoom" - or something along those lines. Definitely something that makes you think, as there is no real meaning to it, yet. Wonder what it means...
