Universal Studios Orlando's Mardi Gras
thefitness replied to re_upcrazy78's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
Mardi Gras at Universal is a fun little event. I'm never really into any of the bands that are playing, but I know a lot of people really enjoy the concerts. They normally have a section of the New York area of the park dedicated to Cajun food and booze. The parade itself isn't the best Universal puts on, but I always liked getting the beads. I hope that helped a little, I can answer some more questions if you need me to. -

Representing the younger age group of TPR. Come on guys, It's getting embarrassing to be known as the “younger” users on here. I’m not saying my posts are perfect, or that every younger user makes bad posts. What I’m saying is, why not make good posts? More people will read and/or reply if your posts are clean, and it’ll make for a better, happier TPR. Another good thing to do is type out your posts in a word processor that will correct spelling/grammar then copy and paste it into the comment window. Let’s give our age group a better reputation.

Nice Ride, the only problem I noticed was the first drop.I don't know if you wanted it like that, but it's on its side until the very bottom.Other than that good job,I really like it. -
I found this on Screamscape I thought it was interesting.A Six Flags park Themed? Here's a quote from Screamscape. Park News - (1/12/07) The local paper reports that media invitations have been sent out for a “landmark announcement” by Mark Shapiro that will take place on Wednesday. This is where they will announce the name change to Six Flags Discovery Kingdom, laying the old Marine World name to rest alongside its other previous name: Marine World Africa USA. In addition to the name change, they are said to be announcing that the park will be divided into three themed lands: Sky, Sea and Land.
