  1. Great TR. I knew they were building a new park and it would open today but that's more or less all I knew. The park looks indeed almost like a copy of the one in Hasselt. Still, I decided to buy Plopfuncards soon for me and my kids, so I will be visiting the park in the next months.
  2. Smokers outside ... - the Editors
  3. Great update. Crowds were indeed a little bit different to when we visited last year. So obviously there were no school holidays going on ?
  4. I seem to have been wrong big time about the minimum lengths. It's 2 years ago I've been there and obviously my memory is letting me down. With Nemo I indeed meant Crush (again memory problems ). And when I was there 2 years ago they were testing the fastpasses on Crush and somebody who've been at DLP recently (an non-themepark addict), told me there was a fastpass on crush. But since it was a non themepark enthusiast who told me, he probably mixed it up with another ride.
  5. Hi, If I'm not mistaken, kids only have to be + 96 cms (or even +92) to ride BTM. Although the tunnel might scare your youngest, you should try it out. Again if I'm not mistaken, you have to be 140 cm to ride Space Mountain. I have no experience at DLP early July, but crowds will indeed probably be large. From Paris, it is at least a 30 minutes ride with the RER train to DLP. So if you would have a good and easy connection by RER from the appartement to DLP, go for that. Otherwise, I would recommend to stay on site. Fastpasses : 'younger' rides : when you arrive at the park, get your fast pass for Peter Pan. The ride is extremely popular (while not really worth it) and has a dramatic capicity causing very long lines. If lines for Buzz are long, use your fastpass overthere too. 'bigger' rides : BTM : normal line will be approx 90 minutes or more the bigger part of the day, so use fastpass. Indiana Jones : fastpass if lines are long Space Mountain : fastpass line enters the regular line at approx 15 minutes wait. So if lines are max 30 minutes, go in via the regular line. ToT : probably long lines so use fastpass Nemo : I think there is a fastpass line now too. Use it as capicity is not very high R'n'R coaster : only use fastpass if lines are reaching till outside. No single riders lines at DLP as far as I know. Hope this helps
  6. Too many puppies - Primus
  7. Great update Hans. The park really looks very similar to Legoland California. Love the Safari Tour.
  8. Good luck Andrew. My boss is also running in London on Sunday.
  9. Great report Hans. Too bad I couldn't join on the trip this time. Always thought Skyline park was more of a ghetto park but it looks like quite a decent park. Looking forward to yr Legoland report.
  10. A forest - The Cure
  11. Despite crashing in the afternoon because of the heat (I went to the hotel for 3 hours in the afternoon), this was my favorite day (actually my favorite 26 hours including the night before) on the WCT. It was so amazing to have that much ERT at one of the biggest parks in the world.
  12. Night Fever - Bee Gees
  13. I've ran almost 500 kms since beginning this year but I'm out for about 2 weeks now : my appendicitis was taken out yesterday
  14. Telephone - Lady Gaga
  15. I agree with the other comments. The rooms in the SL are a little bit bigger than the other 2 hotels, and there is a swimming pool in SL, but since you want to spend as much time as possible in the parks, the only real difference is the AC and the fact that SL is a little closer to the parks.
  16. Tomorrow a day in Paris .... for work.
  17. Let's get it up - AC/DC
  18. Rapper's delight - Sugarhill Gang
  19. LOL Vuurvogel. You made my day
  20. Meet me halfway - Black Eyed Peas
  21. 8/10 : not bad since I hardly know anything about flatrides.
  22. Holiday in Cambodia - Dead Kennedy's.
  23. We visited CP end of May 2 years ago. TTD wasn't open yet during early entry time so we rode MF and Maverick, because both had much longer lines (approx 1 hour) during the rest of the day. TTD during the day had 1 hour wait. Front row even took us 90 minutes. Magnum and Mantis had 30-45 minutes waits during the day. All other coasters were walk ons. We went to ride TTD again during the last hour before closing and managed to ride it 3 more times in 1 hour. Waiting line stays open till the park closes so we got our last ride of the day with a 5 minutes walk. Don't really remember what we ate during our visit.
  24. Zanna - Luc Van Acker
